Have wanted to visit Dwan Sanctuary on United World College campus for last 1.5 years. You need to stop at the Visitors Center for pass key on weekends. Not sure the procedure on weekdays. While public Access to the campus is not allowed, one is able to go to the DD. And on the way up, you will see the fabulous Montezuma Castle....wow!Nice little walk up the path to Dwan Sanctuary. Boyos 94 year Grandmother had no problem walking up the beautiful path.Dwan Sanctuary is a wonderful meditation room. Grandmother had no idea how prisms made on walls. (She never saw Pollyanna with Haley Mills.)If you need a break from life, please stop at the Dwan Sanctuary.

Super cool place to check out if cruising through Las Vegas! Also, several natural hot springs right across the stream from the building. You will enjoy it!

Rainbows are all over the walls and floor. Its a pretty neat spot! Even though the school campus is closes, this sanctuary is open to the public.

My son really liked this place, its well worth the 5 minute drive to it from Las Vegas amazing how it was designed. Also I think the best time is around ten am but anytime is excellent be sure to check on Saturdays when the students give free tours of the castle ...

Gorgeous, peaceful space just outside of Las Vegas. Checking in with the security guard was quick and he gave us directions to the sanctuary which is at the back of the campus (its the only part of the campus you can get out and look at). I went on a Sunday, and there was a youth choir practicing in the space making it absolutely magical. I imagine some parts of the years are better than others, but just make sure to go on a sunny day.P.S. dogs arent allowed on the campus but if youre traveling through with your pup just keep them in the car and there shouldnt be any issues!

Amazing Space! Perhaps best enjoyed in quiet or familiar groups-- or solitude. A precisely-angled array of prisms capture and disburse the suns radiant spectrum of colors into the room. Plenty of inspaces about the room to reflect from. Important: You must check in with ID at the visitors center to be escorted in, a necessary effort to protect the sanctuary from vandalism. The steward will also be able to inform of people already there, in case youd like a quiet experience. Its definitely worth it!

The Dwan Light Sanctuary is a big room with a few windows that are prisms. It’s a great place to stay for a while and meditate or do anything else in a peaceful setting. Other than that, there aren’t really any activities there; it’s just a neat, peaceful place to hang out for a little while.

This place is amazing. You do have to stop at the security desk for the school before you head up, but the area was beautiful.

Nice concept. I never would have ever known the benefit of rainbow meditation. There is clearly a benefit. Summer 2019 has been one of chasing New Mexican rainbows and waterfalls for me. And i am loving it. Btw Nambe Falls is raging and beautiful this year be sure to visit there as well. New Mexico True!

I drove there today and arrived during open hours and parked in the visitor parking, however when I walked up to the building, it was locked, and there were signs saying visitors must check in at the welcome center. Umm... itd be helpful if we were told WHAT welcome center and WHERE it was located. Whatta bummer.
