My experience and review are based on daily breakfast meals over a one week stay.The staff is polite, however, not very attentive and that results in slooow service. The lone exception is Adela - she is a delight to engage with. Adela is cheerful, shows genuine happiness and serviced our table over several days with attentive service and a smile.Given this restaurant is located inside a business hotel catering mostly to business travelers, it was disappointing to experience delays in our food arriving each morning.While the concierge lounge also provides a warm breakfast, their eggs as are very creamy/runny and they do not have much selection of fruits, or other items. Therefore, the choice was difficult - quick, mediocre breakfast in the lounge or a better breakfast that requires a sit down of 35-45 minutes.The buffet at Envy is also not as attractive as I have seen at other Renaissance property restaurants. We ended up ordering mostly off the menu. One morning my scrambled egg whites arrived unscrambled. Another morning they were over cooked and partially brown. Both times the issue was resolved quickly.If they can improve their efficiency and accuracy, I would gladly increase the star rating. If I find myself at this restaurant again for breakfast I’ll ask to be seated in Adela’s section and hope for the same great level of service from her.

This steakhouse is definitely a hidden gem in the Las Vegas area. Located inside the Renaissance Hotel, many may assume this to be another run-of-the-mill average hotel restaurant; and in this case you would be mistaken.At every step of my multiple dining experiences, I have received nothing short of 5 star food and service.The dining room is beautifully decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere; high booths and perfect lighting make this a good spot for a romantic evening out.The service in warm, friendly, and welcoming. This group of staff is a restaurant owner/managers dream; From the host, server, server assistant, and management, everyone is always happy, kind, and offers up the perfect amount of attention.The food is nothing short of spectacular; the lobster bisque is some of the best Ive ever had, bursting with flavor. The steak, prime cuts off meat, is cooked to perfection; so tender it slices like butter.If your celebrating a special occasion, you can bet that the staff will acknowledge your event with the perfect level of detail.In summary, whether you live in the Las Vegas area or are one on the many millions of visitors, you absolutely must make a reservation to experience this wonderful hidden gem.

Was gifted a dinner and love trying new places, so here we are! Our server, Major, was awesome. Always on top of all our needs. The food was great as well! We even ran in to friends of ours wating dinner as well. We will be back!

We used to love this place. However, in the last few trips, the food isnt the same anymore. Now they even charged for parking so I dont think well be back anytime soon. Service is always great but food is just average now. Sadly this place isnt what it used to be.

This was a really good place with really good food. One of the benefits of being a Las Vegas Local is enjoying the parts of the town that are technically built for the convention crowd. From what I understand this is a really happening place during CES so if you want to try it out, I would wait until the following week.

This is an amazing steakhouse, and that is saying a lot in Las Vegas. The service is impeccable. We normally have Josh as our server but he was on vacation. Krisztian helped us this time and he was just as awesome. Its hard to find service this good these days. The food is always awesome and the atmosphere is not only beautiful, its astonishingly clean. Envy is located in the Renaissance Hotel and walking to the restaurant through the lobby, its impressive how clean and new everything looks and smells. Go here, you wont regret it.

Great food, although I wish the burgers were made available from the bar in the restaurant. We were well taken care of and enjoyed the ambiance and great conversation. Food was very flavorful but with small portions for appetizers. Shrimp was delicious.

Waited 45 minutes for our meal and we were the first customers in the restaurant. Wasnt offered anything to drink other than wine. Steak was nearly rare; we ordered medium well, sauce on au gratin potatoes was broken, puddles of oil formed in the dish. Onion soup was good. No salt and pepper.

I definitely enjoyed my time here. Some restaurants may become annoyed by using a Groupon but they were very nice. Its on the outskirts of the strip but not far off. They knew the whole deal and made sure we understood the deal. The food was delicious. The salad was a good size portion and very filling. They had cheesecake on the menu for dessert and it was creamy and rich. I ordered the scallops and my fiance ordered the New York Strip. The waiter was very attentive. They were playing music so after dinner me and my fiance dance by our booth. Pleasant evening

Went to this restaurant using a Groupon that give you steak dinner for 2 with drink. ($115) each person gets an appetizer. Each person gets an entree and one side to share and two desserts. We got one alcoholic drink worth $15 each as well. Groupon was easy to use and server Joshua was attentive and friendly and has excellent customer service and knowledgeable about menu and recommendations. I had the shrimp cocktail for my appetizer and expected shrimp mixed in clamato or tomato juice instead received 3 jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce. My boyfriend had the calamari and rock shrimp which were great. Your entree is up to $53 but if you wish to upgrade you just pay the additional price. You can get a 20 oz porterhouse steak for 3$ more. Sides are decent size portions (however you only get 1 to share which is a bummer). Asparagus and lobster mac and cheese were great..Joshua knew it was my boyfriend birthday so the wrote happy birthday on the dessert plate.. NEGATIVE: YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING ($7 FOR ONE - TWO HOURS- THEN RATES KEEP INCREASING PER HOUR) I would definitely visit again using Groupon however would not pay regular price. We went on Monday April 29 2019 and had a reservation for 5 PM which we didnt need since restaurant was pretty empty. Overall great food. Excellent service. Would visit again but maybe park further away and walk.

My wife and I visit Envy the Steakhouse because we happened across a Groupon we couldnt pass up, but they outperformed our expectations. The food is expensive by most standards, but it is also extremely delicious and very high quality. We had a full 3 courses with drinks. The lobster bisque and crab cakes to start were yummy. We both had fillet minion and potato mash for our main course. Both were cooked perfect as asked for and the mash was well seasoned. For dessert we had cheesecake and chocolate lava cake, each of which was decadent and tasty. The drinks were strong and well mixed. Our overall experience at Envy was terrific and we would highly recommend.

The overall experience was good. It is a nice Steakhouse, not overly formal but not really a t-shirt and short place either. The staff were great, right from the front end to the servers. Service was fine, could have perhaps been a little more attentive by checking in a bit oftener but not a big deal. The food was well prepared, arrived in a timely manner, cooked as requested and hot. The portions are large as well. Overall a great experience. Parking was easy to access and reasonably inexpensive for Vegas.

Very convenient if youre staying at the Renaissance hotel. The dessert was definitely fantastic and I loved their unique spin on a vegetarian option (although Im not vegetarian, I just didnt feel like eating meat when I went!) Ill have to try the steak next time. It does seem a bit pricey for what it is, though.

The service at this place was absolutely terrible. We walked in and were seated right away, but I had a hunch it wasnt going to be great because it was lit up as bright as Walmart on Black Friday. We were seated quick, however nobody visited our table for 25 minutes. No water, no bread, no server. Finally we flagged someone down and asked for our server and he showed up 5 minutes later. Didnt ask if we wanted drinks, just wanted the food order. Joshua barely visited the table the entire night, forgot our order, it was an absolute nightmare.The food was fair to good, which is the only reason for the second star. Some things were better than others. The truffle fries were great, steaks were cooked properly. I would NOT recommend this place; Vegas has far too many better places.

This place would not be my choice for dinner in Vegas. It is ok, but in a city like Vegas where there are so many amazing restaurants, being ok isnt good enough. I made this reservation about two weeks in advance. When we arrived, I was taken to my table within 2 minutes then proceeded to have to stand there as the (host? manager?) cleared the table and reset it as we had been taken to a dirty table. As we were being seated, we were asked if we had a groupon or travelzoo offer (which we didnt). I was confused about why we were asked when other tables we saw being seated werent asked. Maybe we looked like bargain hunters? Our server David came and asked us if we were ready to order. He didnt go over any specials or recommend anything on the menu. We ordered drinks which he brought quickly (they had a pretty nice wine list) then ordered our entrees and proceeded to 35 minutes for our food to arrive. He stopped by once during that time and said he would check on our food. When it finally arrived our entrees were very good while the sides were incredibly bland. We had the sea bass and herb crusted lamb. The fish was incredibly tender and had a great flavor. The lamb was good but not very different than what Ive had in other places. We had a show to go to so we asked for our check which was brought promptly. Overall this visit was largely underwhelming. I enjoyed my visit to the Top of the World the previous evening much more.

We used Groupon to get a nice discounted meal for 4. We enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The staff was wonderful. The food was amazing. I got the filet mignon. I split a side with the hubs. Very large sides. The desert was great! I would come back here again. It’s in one of our top go to places to eat.

BEST STEAK EVER!!! Ordered the Bone-In Ribeye steak. It is definitely the best steak Ive ever had in my life. This restaurant is a very pricey. Would definitely recommend and go back the next time Im in Vegas.

I stayed at the Renaissance Hotel and I ordered a burger from Envy Steakhouse . I heard they have amazing burgers. I order a medium burger with Bacon I kid you not, the burger was well done and it was so over cooked that I couldnt even eat it. My wife order the same thing and her burger was over cooked as well, but salty. I lost my appetite ever though my server wanted me to order something else. My wife ate her burger because she was really hungry, but regretted later. The server was nice enough not to charge us for my burger. So disappointed. Never again will I patronize Envy Restaurant, especially there $20 burger.

Easy walk from convention center monorail station. Wife and I had a promo voucher and they clearly explained the details. Even though they were packed with folks post convention. They were still on the ball and got all our items out in a timely fashion. The food was great and cooked to order.

Great tasting and great looking food, very nice workers, but they could work on being attentive. We ran out of water and no one came over till we got their attention, we needed a box and no one came over until we waved someone over, which is just rude and awkward with paying so much for a meal and for the restaurant not being busy at all.

The food and service were excellent. Our waiter could not have been better. Envy steakhouse is great but be aware that even though the hotel they are in is off strip, The Renaissance charges for parking and does not validate. In fact they dont even offer the first hour free, which as a local is upsetting, however when I expressed my feelings about the parking at Envy they made paying the $7.00 worth it! (Even though they are not responsible for it). It was a great experience.

We had an excellent dinner. This was our second visit in the past 3 months. We went once for our anniversary, then second for my husbands birthday. Both times we had the same waiter named Major. He was top notch. The food was great!!! Ive lived here all my life so I been to many restaurants. You have to try this place at least once.

We had their all American buffet breakfast on the weekend which was very tasty, and then another day we had their french toast and crab eggs Benedict and both were amazing as well. Servers were prompt and very helpful and nice! Wish we couldve tried their dinner menu but Im sure it wouldve been delicious too

Great food, great service (the hostess needs to learn how to smile) however not the atmosphere I was expecting for the menu prices. It seemed more like a chain steakhouse than a gourmet steakhouse. Very few diners (which actually was a plus) which surprised me. I hope they are busier at other times. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they did a nice complimentary dessert. Lastly, for what we paid for dinner (almost $300 for three with drinks), I would have expected parking to be validated. Had to pay another $7 to park. They said it was a third party that handled parking but Id guess they could bill back the $7 to the restaurant, hmmm??? Overall a good night.

Wow, just a fantastic meal. Expensive but well worth it for the meal, service and experience. Had a Groupon for a party of four, sometimes feel funny about that at such a nice place. But they were gracious and treated us well. Youll love it.

I chose this place to propose to my partner. We did the 6 course tasting menu. Very nice ambience. Everything was good except for the sides that came with the entree. The lamb and the scallops were amazing. Major was our server and he was outstanding. Would recommend and would go back again.

I used a Groupon which made it $45.00 a person for a 3 course meal with drinks! Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the appetizers were huge. My husband was able to get Hennessy with no upcharge. Also our waitress Stephany was great, she made us feel very welcome even though we had the Groupon.

I was here 10+ years ago and my husband and I have always talked about coming back. Im so happy I had the chance to make it back and experience it with my kids this time. Nice atmosphere and the menu is the right size, you wont get dizzy reading all the options. However, I expected a better steak considering the prices. The steak at The Steak House in Circus Circus (dont laugh!) was better. Both are at the higher end of pricing.

My wife and I were treated to a most amazing Anniversary Dinner while visiting Vegas. The shrimp cocktail was a most impressive with the largest meatiest shrimp I have ever sunken my teath in to. I feasted on the huge and juicy bone in porterhouse and my wife enjoyed the sea bass which was also great. For desert our taste buds were tantalized by a lovely strawberry cake that was reminiscent of short cake and a fair sized portions of delicious cheesecake. The service was unmatched by any other dinning experience we had on or off the strip.

Vegas. If Im going to spend $10 for 1 beer and $18 for a decent (not amazing) burger, Id better be at a show or something that offsets the price. Nothing like that here. Staff was friendly and courteous. 4 TVs on the same channel??? Meh. Nothing exceptional to offer here.

Had a nice dinner here tonight. The restaurant is positioning itself as a steakhouse with good wine selection. The steak was great. The mushrooms were a bit dry but the asparagus was great. The wine list is reasonable but please look out for the vintages. They didn’t have the vintage that was listed in the menu. The waiter was very gracious about it. Checked all the bottles they have and took about 15% off the cost of the bottle but one still has to check. Good experience overall.

Good steak place. Attentive service. Well made food. Be aware the sides are enough for two so only 1 or 2 is needed. No one had any issues with their food and everyone stated it was good to very good. Prices are in line with a good steak house and better than on the strip.

OMG the food is absolutely delicious!!!! The crab cakes werent made up of fillers, the calamari was hot and flaky. I only put my fork down once and that was to get a roll with the pesco butter (which I didnt need lol). Crazy that Im writing a review and the main course didnt even come out yet!

Very nice ambiance and everyone at the hotel is especially nice and respectful. I have to say usually when we (my family and I) stay in Vegas we book on the strip, clearly Las Vegas has a jewel off the strip that has eluded us, from now on I will be booking at the Renaissance hands down this hotel is clean, modern, reasonably priced, lovely amenities and very hospitable staff. I was very happy with my stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. Reasonable parking around. Amazing atmosphere, very clean & organized. Sat at both downstairs & upstairs bar. Bartender was a little rude, but very good at his job, so I guess youll have to pick your battles lol. Definitely, a great date night with anyone/everyone who can appreciate quality. Went for my friend bday and we had an absolute blast ! Highly recommend. Definitely worth every star.

Food is fantastic and the staff is absolutely amazing. They were all so welcoming and attentive. We have been staying at the Renaissance for about 5 years now 2x a year for the ASD Market week show and couldnt be happier to be staying at a hotel with a great environment and with such a great restaurant like Envy. The menu is not enormous but the food that is offered is always delicious.
