The Art Gallery at the Bellagio is very interesting. And also has a number of very fine paintings and artists. If you love art you should visit.
Reference the Yayoi Kusama exhibit, if you are not an art fan, avoid. This will not make you feel fulfilled, in fact, you might feel robbed. For art fans, Im not even sure if this is good value. The exhibit is tiny (only two pieces), with the center piece being only a 45-second experience (they time your visit into the Infinity Mirrored Room and you only get one visit per ticket).
While the 15 (!!Only 15!!) works in the current Exhibition from Japan are beautiful, only 2 are historic and the other 13 pieces represent 6 artists. Its a very small show and the price is too high for what we get, for the experience. If wed known it would be so brief, we wouldnt have attended.
The current exhibit had very few pieces, maybe five or six. In my opinion, the best piece from this exhibit is actually outside the gallery in front of the box office. The staff at the ticket counter - Lance was his name, I believe - was incredibly rude and not up to the standards Ive experienced at Bellagio. This aside, I would recommend reading reviews on the exhibit in place at the time of your visit before making plans. Its only $15 pp, but I wouldnt spend the time or money to see a five or six piece exhibit unless it had rave reviews.
Was very disappointed. Very few objects Maybe 8. A waste of money as there are only two pieces worth seeing and one of the pieces is in the hallway for free and the other is the photo on the front of the brochure. The rest are still life of simple flowers.
I cant truly judge a place where various artworks are being changed every month. Artists and artworks makes the fundamentals of an art museum, therefore I can only say what I can perceive about what is constant. For one, it is small if it is your first time in art galleries. It is not until you recognize art galleries are for ideas and not a fun house. In the front desk you will be given a hand held radio that explains artists works behind their piece. You will be given educational background information from the radio and definition of words associated with the culture; an example is Japanese art. You can take photos with no flash while some you can not. Kids 5 years and under get in for free. Thats about it, but make sure to look up their theme first in their website and research their gallery using other Las Vegas news reports because they indicate what is currently being presented in the gallery. That way you can know if it is interesting or not.
Very small and intimate art gallery. Just visited the Yayoi Kusama exhibit. I thought admission of $15 is a bit steep for the 2 immersive art exhibits. The exhibit had a video and art books to view, which gave insight to the artist. I do not regret the experience, I just feel $5 is more appropriate for admission. And yes its best to book and buy tickets online, there are time slots, and the line for the infinity room can build up fast. You are timed in the room for 45 seconds, its best to view alone, and I never felt claustrophobic. Just saying, I think 15 minutes per person would have been more appropriate but that would limit ticket sales greatly.
Installation I saw was amazing. Reasonable price depending on exhibit
Barely an exhibit and they should be ashamed to charge $15. I would give it zero stars if I could.
I nice small art gallery. We always enjoy seeing the exhibit whenever were in.
Went for Yayoi Kusama, Infinity Mirrored Room – Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity and Narcissus Garden. Exibits were amazing, staff friendly and price very affordable and worth it.
The Yayoi Kusama exhibit is worth the waiting time. As a participant of the work you feel a closeness and appreciation of her work.
Saw the samurai exhibit very interesting save a couple bucks play myVegas see it for free
The exhibit was cool, but it is a really tiny space for a “gallery.”
The Gallery is small, but Ive seen larger exhibits here. Great gift shop is gone. This exhibit is barely worth the money. One room with steel balls and 45 sec in an infinity light room that is out of cycle.
This was amazing to see loved it. The art work really was one of a kind. Really glad I took the time to see it. Residents do get a couple of dollars off. But I would recommend to get tickets online because sometimes time slots fill up.
Price is a bit steep for two small rooms of art installations. That said the infinity light display was awesome!
A neat experience for sure. The infinity mirrored room is so cool. It’s my understanding that the artist only wants 45 seconds per visit but I could have stood there for an hour. I liked everything about this but just felt like it wasn’t enough time.
This is all about it that you will find in the gallery !
Over hyped! I went here for what I thought was an art exhibit by Yayoi Kusama... nah son.. it is literally a room full of silver colored balls and a infinity room with mirrors and some lights. The guard there told me the balls were supposed to be floating in water and kinda moving with the waves and there was supposed to be a reflection of yourself in a million different angles and stuff. nah these balls were on the floor and did nothin.. after that disappointing room you wait in line for like 20-30 mins (depending on how many people are in front of you, because each person gets 1 min) and go into the dark room with mirrors and some lights. It was 13 bucks a ticket... to do basically nothing... and this is not the gallerys fault, but some old man crop dusted me... whack attack.
Yayoi Kusamas Narcissus Garden
We come to Vegas often and always make a point to see the most current exhibit.
It was cool to see but we were in an out in less than 5 minutes.
I wouldnt recommend this, to be honest.- The first exhibit is like 40 stainless steel balls sitting on the floor.- The second exhibit is a small room (maybe 10x10) with 360 degree mirrors on the wall and some battery powdered lanterns hanging from the ceiling. You stand in line for about 20 minutes. Youre allowed to stand in the room for 45 seconds, and youre not allowed to re-enter once you leave the room. Also, the lights take about 10-15 seconds to turn on all the way, so you really only get about 30 seconds to experience the full effect. Beautiful, but should probably be free.
Amazing... Been in the dark room and the lights ... Great experience
Very small gallery. For the price they charge I thought itd be much bigger. Basically two decent sized rooms, but not museum sized, with to exhibits. Total. It is called a gallery. What we saw was interesting.
Kusama exhibit was cool but only 2 actual works to view. The infinity room is wild! Incredible once you get in! The line wasnt very long maybe a 20 min wait. You dont have much time in the room though...
While an interesting exhibit, $15 per for 2 installations made us feel ripped off. The light exhibit is 45 seconds - if there are 2 of you, together, it’s 45 seconds, same price as if there is only one of you. Better to spend time in the lobby gazing at the Chiulys on the ceiling.
This is a beautiful art gallery. The theme was Japanese artists. They are amazing artists. What a fabulous display of art work. And the staff are so nice and professional. It is wonderful to see such dedication to their job. Also looking forward to getting the membership. The benefits are very nice. If you get a chance stop by and visit the art gallery. You will not be disappointed.
Well done, Kusama!
Viewed the Primal Water exhibit of Japanese modern art with a water theme. The collection was diverse, beautiful, and very interesting. There were several outstanding pieces, including sculpture, oil on canvas, photography, and ceramic. I went on a weekday at 3pm and literally had the gallery to myself (besides the two docents). I do wish the gallery was larger, only two rooms that took about 30 minutes for me to view (hence only 4 stars). However it is the largest proper art gallery I’ve seen on the strip (and the only one!). And a $14 admission is pretty cheap for Vegas...that’s like one drink or a hand of blackjack!
Very interesting! It is kid friendly! We took the whole family. The swimming pool is located across from it.
Not that big but nice staff.
Yayoi Kusama exhibit is a must see.
Very cool gallery. Very small though. I visited during the infinity mirrors exhibit and though it was a good photo op, wasnt really much of a gallery. Two or 3 art pieces in the entire place. Figured thered be a few more atleast.
Great place to visit.@OLDTOWNBARBERS
I guess it depends on what art work is shown but for the price it was very small. 2 rooms from what we saw. Thought there would of been more. Didnt feel worth the price given all of the other attractions in Vegas.
We really enjoyed seeing the exhibition of Yayoi Kusama. The only problem for me was that there wasnt enough! I wish it was bigger and had more to see!
I had a great time seeing the yayoi kusama exhibit. It is very popular, I recommend buying the tickets a day beforehand.
Attended the Kusama exhibit which was beautiful. However, the primary experience is only 45 seconds long, and we waited in line for nearly 1 hour. I was disappointed that there were only 2 exhibits. Even though tickets werent all that expensive, it felt like a waste of time overall. If your time in Vegas is limited, I would skip the attraction .
The current exhibit (Yayoi Kusama) offers 2 minutes and 45 seconds of delight for $15 per person. There are several better ways to spend $15 in Las Vegas.
This was so stupid, I was expecting art.. there was one exhibit with a bunch of spheres on the ground, then a fun house light mirror room. TOTAL RIP -OF
Always interesting exhibits here. Loved the very small Yayoi Kusama exhibit. The staff were awesome.
What a waste of time! A single exhibit you could view for only 45 seconds with a 1 hour waiting line. Add to that problems with the air conditioner for a truly miserable experience.
A gallery that sadly consisted of only 2 pieces of Yayoi Kusamas work (really cool)...one infinity room and one room with Narcissist Garden steel balls...that was a big disappointment. I was expecting to see a bit more for the money you pay.
The lady who work at the ticket counter was very helpful and friendly. This Yayou Kusama traveling exhibit of infinity room is a must see. U are only given 45 seconds to go inside the room so relax, be in the moment, and absorb the stillness and the glowing lights surrounding you.
The exhibit was just ok.. it was.. in my opinion.. too expensive for a 45 sec show. But bellagio is beautiful
We booked our tickets telling them that we had dinner reservations. They assured that the time they chose was plenty of time to see the display before our reservations. We ended up waiting in line for 2 hours and asking for a refund because we had to go to our reservation. Waste of time!!!!!
Nice place to see art. Do your homework to make sure you get your moneys worth. When I went there was only two pieces from the featured artist.
First time staying at the Bellagio it was a dream come true and especially having a Grand View Terrace presidential suite two bedroom what the Strip view and the fountain was a magical 4 days thank you I recommend to whoever!!!
The art and the Atrium are off the hook. Its so beautiful.
The exhibits were interesting but the wait was long for the infinity room and there was only 1 other exhibit to pass the time with.
I had a great time and even expanded my sense of art.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! It’s two rooms. One with some silver balls on the floor and another TEENY TINY room you can fit one or two people in with cheap lanterns and mirrors in it, that you have to stand in line for 30 mins to go inside. I seriously felt scammed. It’s called an art GALLERY. Extremely angry that I spent $15 to get in. I expected more from The Bellagio.
Nice respite from Vegas craziness. Small gallery
I always enjoy visiting the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts. The Gallery has no permanent collection; it presents traveling collections that stay for a few months and then go. Also, its a small place which can mean intimate to some and incomplete to others; for me, its a combination of both: a cozy gallery that comes to an end all too soon and abruptly. Further, do your research before going: not all collections are for all tastes. As for me, over the years, Ive seen the Faberge Egg, Monet and Muhammad Ali collections, and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. There is merchandise available for each exhibition, for those into souvenirs. Overall the Gallery is nice; it would be nice if it were bigger.
One of the Best youll see in Las Vegas!
Paid $15.00 person and only several art pieces in a small space which is about your room size.
Great experience. Highly enjoyed it. Very professional and polite staff.
Its pretty small. Not sure if its worth it.
Saw the Yayoi Kusama exhibit. It wa everything I expected, just thought there should have been more.
Always interesting. I always check out the gallery when i visit vegas.
We viewed the gallery yesterday. Japanese art was being presented. This rating system does not allow for a negative star rating so I had to give it a 1 star. So very disappointed and insulted by the artist who used south western mesquite wood found in the U.S.A., hung it upside down with crystalized glue hanging from it...then coated it with urine...thats right, urine!!! I expected something spectacular...it was awful!! We will never go back! I thought my husband and I and our 3 teenagers would enjoy this bucket list experience but No. Dont waste your money on urine artwork!!
If you’re going to see the yayoi kusama gallery DONT DO IT it’s not worth the money it’s a bunch of steel balls in a room and a smaller room where the infinity room is which might I add you only get 45 seconds in and only get to go in once PLUS 9 dollars parking because they don’t validatemaybe I just don’t understand or appreciate art but I’m disappointed
One of the best hotels in Las Vegas with never ending campus, good rooms, amazing restaurant especially Spago. The O theatre is an outstanding place where one can watch cirque du Soleil. Great amenities and cafes and the famous musical fountain of Las Vegas is a part of the hotel which is simply superb. The main part is an amazing casino that this hotel has.
The space is 2 very small rooms. If I wasnt using my platinum experience Id say very over priced.
Albeit small, and unassuming, they still get quality artists to show here.
Always amazing. A regular visit for us when in Vegas.
Very small exhibition and need to queue to enter the room, but worth it!
Only 2 rooms to experience the art. Interesting.
Too expensive for mass produced items
Gallery is not as large as most dedicated city art galleries but if the exposition has an artist youre interested in and the price is right, well worth a visit.
We came for the exhibition of Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity room. 45 seconds per group allowed in the little mirror box they call the infinity room. The other part of the exhibition is a room full of steel balls where they call the narcissus garden. I tried to bend down and take a picture, the staff said I can’t bend down. I was several feet away from the steel balls and he said I can’t bend down to take the picture. That’s what I get with 2 tickets and 1 hour of waiting in line. Ridiculous.
We were utterly disappointed having to pay for a less than 10mins experience at the Yayoi Kusama exhibits. Dont get me wrong, the exhibits are beautiful but come on Bellagio Gallery, you could have given your guests a free entry.
Id lived in Vegas for 21 years and visited the BGFA for the first time recently to see the Yayoi Kusama installations currently there. Dont miss out! Its a small space and her art is simple but incredibly impactful.
Nice place, as expected, but there were only 2 displays. I’m sure it said that somewhere but I was expecting an art gallery.
Beautiful hotel, the fine arts exposition was short but worth it
Attended opening of Yayoi Susama- 2 installations. Infinity room was very interesting. Glad to see this in Vegas.
Infinity mirror exhibit is a must see. Once in a lifetime experience.
THis intimate small and uncrowded gallery is the best way to truly enjoy fine art. When planning a trip to Vegas, this is the first thing I book. Every exhibit is presented in a masterly way giving the viewer as much or as little historical perspective as he or she desires. Spectacular, a tribute to the way Vegas has developed over the years into something for everyone...
The advertisements make it seem like the mirror infinity room is MUCH larger than it is. And you can only be inside for 45 seconds.
If youre going to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibit, its a total waste of time and money. Admission is $15 and you see one room with a bunch of silver balls on the floor and the other room is one of the infinity rooms you go into for 45 seconds (yes, 45 seconds) to experience the light and reflections. I saw the exhibit in DC and was expecting that. I was mistaken. Save your money and go do something else. You could buy one of the $10 postcards or some of the other ridiculously overpriced merch in the gift shop area. If you Google images about Kusamas work, youll be better off. To open a gallery with this little work is really stretching it. Avoid.
Unique exhibition- Kusama.. but, a long line
Nice art gallery
Kusama exhibit...Love her work, but very small show; only 2 installations, no paintings. Somewhat misleading in promos.
Display is always amazing and great to visit and see. First hour of parking is free
