Historic, respo sibley for the founding of Laramie WY. Small railroad museum and some historic cars. The snowplow train is massive.Over-track pedestrian bridge makes viewing much easier.

If you are an avid train enthusiast then look no further! The Laramie Railroad Depot has to of great history! There are lots of artifacts from the early days of the Union Pacific Railroad and the Laramie Hahns Peak and Pacific Railroad. The museum is a great place to rent out for events and parties. I see something new every I stop in. Check it out!

Neat little spot of history tucked into downtown Laramie. It has a nice little play area and a train that you can look at any time of the day. It is also a great location for events and gatherings.

Awesomely maintained historic building. Great for events. Large bathrooms and kitchen, tables chairs etc. Also has a lot of neat curated historic railroad displays. Many fun local events here

A key piece of Laramie history, the railroad depot is a gem. Built of locally quarried stone and little changed in more than a century, it is a popular site for weddings, parties, and other celebrations. Unfortunately, its not in regular passenger service anymore, though vintage locomotives such as the UP 4014 Big Boy make the Laramie Depot an occasional stop.

Lots of neat railroad items on display. For the kids had couple of small tables set up to run a toy train. Building itself still looks historic.

I visited the Laramie Railroad Depot during the annual open house. I was there to provide help with the Lego Train display.I have to admit, I ride Amtrak, so Im kinda partial to trains, so seeing this Depot, lovingly restored and cared for was something of a treat. You can see the history in this building, there are the old Amtrak signs, examples of the Union Pacific conductor caps, engineer caps. Seeing the history of the railroad was a treat to me.

Sadly, the museum is closed and according to a local who met walking a dog it is always closed. The building is used for special events. Through the windows we could see dusty exhibits and an old gift shop. So sad this wasnt open for us! No times for openings were posted anywhere. Very sad.
