This is such a great gallery! It seems to be always evolving, growing, and bringing something beautiful to Lansing. Ive picked up a few items from the sales floor that I adore including owl pottery and a few owl paintings. They also have great jewelry and gifts for my family. The rotating exhibitions and education center are also a great way to interact with Michigan artists and students. The staff was very well educated and welcoming. I left with such a positive experience I decided to donate and volunteer!

What a great place! Upon entering, there was a beautiful piece of art that grabbed our attention right away. After walking down the stairs, we were welcomed by a lovely young woman that was friendly and informative. She said there was a hands-on project for the kids, if we were interested (which we were, of course!). There were so many beautiful pieces, and the kids got to make their own! Great, free thing to do by yourself or with your family!

My first time visiting the Lansing Art Gallery was for their 2019 Holiday exhibition. Wow, amazing artwork, great gift ideas, and friendly staff. Ill definitely be visiting again, especially when I am looking for unique and original gift ideas.

We came for their winter open house and found some beautiful pieces from local artists. There were more than paintings with ths fabric arts and jewelry as well. I did alot of my Christmas shopping this year at the Gallery. I reccomend that people support their local artists and check out this gallery..

Visited Lansing Art Gallery on a frigid January afternoon. Very quaint setting in downtown Lansing. You come here for the art. Todays offering included photos and paintings by two local artists. Tastefully done. Highly recommend stopping in for a quick art fix as you are bound to find something you have not come across before. Very nice gallery.

I especially loved the silver jewelry, the paintings were interesting; snacks were a plus

Great hidden gem in downtown Lansing. They bring in different exhibits throughout the year and have a student art section. There is also an arts/ craft room so you can also make your own art.

Wonderful exhibits and they always have great local art in the giftshop.

Fantastic space for art, education, and creativity. Gallery staff is very friendly and welcoming and the art is contemporary and engaging. I love this gallery!

So I am in 9th grade when Im writing this, I love this place. They accepted my artwork and put it on display for a while. Theyre very friendly and kind. The only suggestion I have is better lights, white ones so it doesnt affect the original colors.

This place is awesome! Great art, gifts and an education center in the heart of downtown Lansing.

A great place to find nice things such as an apple baking dish, beard combs, spice containers, and much more that are artistically hand made. They have the occasional party to reveal a new exhibition. They also have many other events that are not held at the gallery to inspire the artist in everyone, and for the kids, summer art camps for your little Da Vinci.
