I am a long time customer of the Reloading Zone, and the new owners and Bristlecone have kept up the great business. The new owners and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, the service is very good, the selection is great. One of the things I appreciate the most and will keep me coming back is that they are not price gouging during this covid mess. I shop there a lot, and every experience has been good.

I came in several times looking at their selection of 1911s, and was hoping to see something great from Springfield or Sig Sauer. I finally lucked out (their inventory moves so quickly that its a bit different every time you come in) and found a beautiful Sig. The price was right, the service was excellent, and I had no complaints! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, and some of the best prices in the Denver area.

This place needs to stop and rethink how they are handling business. I attempted to visit this store several weeks ago before any mandatory masks rules were common. I drove over an hour and a half to pick up a laundry list of reloading components after verifying everything was in stock over the phone and via email. Once I got there I was refused entry because I didnt have a mask. The individual on the phone and answering the email could have told me this was their new policy.Again, this was before anyone else was requiring masks to enter a business. They claimed they had the information available, which was untrue. It was nowhere, not on social media, not on their website, nowhere. It was posted on their door, and they kept the doors locked so nobody could walk in. I found it amusing that they would peek out their windows at me. In short, I was basically told to pound sand and they did not offer any recourse or help outside of scurrying back inside and locking the door.This store is currently having some major difficulties handling anything. They are scared to death of anyone not wearing a mask, they do not answer the phones, they dont reply to voice messages, you are lucky to get an email back within a few days, and their web page is useless or offline. Close your store if you are this incompetent and scared!

One of the best small businesses Ive ever come across. As a total newbie to reloading they have everything you need and take the time to explain everything to you no matter how many questions you ask. I love to buy from businesses like this because if I ever have a question I can just call and they will walk me through my issues. Staff is great and really friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Plenty of selection and the staff is super helpful and nice (they don’t act bothered or pissed off if you want to see more than one gun). They also don’t talk down to you like some other gun shops do. Overall they are extremely helpful and can answer any of your questions and give you good advice. The prices are competitive compared to many of the other gun shops in the Denver area. I would 10/10 recommend this store.

I have been to this gun shop many times, the owners have always been very friendly and professional with me even though I was there for information only. I am planning to take a few classes from them because they seem like really good honest business owners. I really appreciate small businesses like this because they’re the ones that are providing one on one service for the customers. I could not give them a five star rating because I have yet to purchase anything from them hopefully someday I can and would love to take a reloading class from them as well, so I will update my review when I feel like I have more information about the business.

The best gun shop hands down. All of there classes are top notch, great selection of firearms, reloading tools and supplies, and ammo. The best pricing I have found, even beats ammo seek 90% of the time. The staff are friendly and have always been able to answer my questions. This is the most unprofessional gun shop I have ever dealt with in 15 years of owning firearms.First issue: I emailed with them and asked for a quote on a rifle. They sent me what they said was an out the door price (their words). But when I went to pick up the gun, the price was $30 higher because they forgot to include tax in the out the door price. Now, do I care about $30? Not much. But your word should be good and if you say its out the door then you should stick by that. The owners response was Well, people make mistakes. Of course they do, thats not the issue - you should stick to your word.Second issue: I took in a 60-year old 22LR bolt-action rifle that I had restored and which was functioning perfectly and had been for 6 years, and asked them to sell it for me. The agreed and listed it for $225 as-is. Months later someone bought it. He paid and left the store with it. An hour later, he brings it back and says it doesnt feed ammo correctly. So they refund his money and tell me I have to fix it. When I arrive at the store to pick it up, I can see right away that it has been disassembled by someone because I always meticulously turn the main take-down screw so that the groove is parallel to the stock and its off by about 20 degrees. Also, there are some dings on the stock that werent there before. Now, do I know who took it apart and broke it? No. But I know it wasnt me. The only thing they did that even approaches good customer service was to waive the background check fee for me when I took it back.TLDR, they sold my gun, let someone take it away it for an hour and then took it back and blamed me for its malfunction.I will never do business with these people again.

Great place and people. Mary Jo has gone out of her way to take care of me on multiple occasions from finding a firearm for me to answering random questions. They have also made sure they gave me the best deals they could with things like extra magazines or manufacturer specials i would not have known about. Would recommend them to family and friends. They do have a dry snarky sense of humor sometimes which i find hilarious and they dont mind giving me a little sass. Reminds me of family.

Was a little disappointed when I was told all primers go bang when they didnt have the specific primers I wanted. Was also a little disappointed in the selection of bulk bullets. Was happy they stock Dillon parts. Was happy with the willingness to help me with reloading data, to the point of printing out Hodgdons data for me for a particular load. Ill keep going back. Would have been there Monday if they had been open!

Not sure how I got this name must be my kids, anyhow these people awesome. Forget the big gun stores. This is a mom and pop shop. They are informative and will take care of you. There prices are also great. I ordered an AR. I was quoted one price. When I showed up the gun was on sale through rock river arms and they discounted the AR. They didnt have to do that. I work nearby and never went in until this week. I happened to see a Walther PPS on consignment which I liked. The piece came with the case, a lock, extra magazines. I was happy with the purchase and went home. A couple days later, I found a PPS holster with a personal note from Mary Jo on my door step. The holster had actually come with the gun but it wasnt with the case when I bought it. Mary Jo realized this later and dropped it off at my house. What service! Most people nowadays would have said oh well and pitched it or just called me to pick it up. This is what a small business should be like. Patronize the shop with full confidence! I will.

If I could give more stars I would. These people are amazing. I went in looking for a .380 in the Tiffany. They didnt have it, but were on the ball for ordering it for me and getting it in only 3 days later and it was over a weekend. They are very helpful and nice people. Wish you’d change your hours. Literally drove up at 4:02 and was so disappointed. I had been spotting out this AR for a week. My husband also was going to get a semi auto shot gun. It’s a Saturday and you’re closed Sundays it’s a lose lose for other people who have work too.

If I could give this place a -5 I would, bought a couple things from this place in the past but never coming here again. The guy that runs the register always made my bf && I feel uncomfortable && looking at us like were gonna steal something every time we walked in there. Should put a sign on the front door saying No Colored People Allowed if youre gonna call the cops on people && make up stories just because a dark skin couple come into your store. Next time you got a problem with somebody just man up && tell them face to face dont call the cops.

I love their selection of just about everything lol...their website is kept current and i was able to shop for what i was looking for, and then i went in and told them what i was shopping for. They are very knowledgeable in their products, and have always found what i am looking for. They are now my first goto gun shop for anything im looking for!

First off I dont write reviews, but A close friend of mine showed me this shop not long ago and since ive been in every weekend. Mike and Mary are great owners with great personalities they definitely know how to treat their customers right. You get a one on one connection with them as well as impeccable service which competes (and in my opinion beats) other big wig shops. Stuff you just cant get on the internet like, Lake City pulled projectiles. Im not saying anymore because I dont want to ruin this place for me as in itll be too busy for me to ever be able to get in it. Purchased a Ruger mark iii 22/45 today. Ill be back for much more.

Great place to go. It is a reloaders gem, they have almost everything in stock, and can usually get it if they dont. And if you ask for a powder chances are they have it in stock too.

I stop in quite often and I am treated great every time. Whether I am buying a 5 dollar item or looking at a new reloader the service is the same. Try to support this shop because we all know knowledge AND service are a rare commodity. In retail stores like these I find people who know a ton but reluctant to share it or the person eager to help but have no clue on how or where to start on answering my questions. I was in search of a very particular firearm when I stumbled across The Reloading Zone on the internet. I jumped into the car with the entire family and headed to their shop. When we arrived I noticed that they closed at 6pm, the current time was 5:52pm. I inquired about the gun and the man working the counter pulled it out of the case for my inspection.Knowing already that I wanted the firearm I told him Ill take it and we began the paperwork. If youve purchased a firearm you know this can be a long process as CBI can delay things quite a bit. At about the 6:30 mark my wife and one of my kids start doing the potty dance. I asked about a restroom which they clearly didnt have but yet he took the time to walk them down to a unit that did.Finally 6:45 and the background check goes through, he rings us up and Im short on cash by a couple bucks. Then again he goes the extra mile and calls it sqaure. So Mike I owe you one and I appreciate you going the extra mile and being so hospitable.If you are looking for a wonderful firearm, reloading and accessory shop check them out. They also have CCW classes which I plan to attend within the month.
