We live near here and our was great bringing our daughter when she was younger.

This is a super park and the grandkids love coming here, the only problem for me is that I live so far way from it.... it takes about 40-45 minutes to get to it. But I do take them once a week. And when I say we’re going they get super excited!

Park.grounds are excellentlly maintained (unfortunately adults and kids routinely refuse to use the strategically placed trash bins around the park) for the amount of daily traffic. Could not give a 5 because the sink and toilet are never cleaned, ever.

Such a cute little park here, with a beautiful large open field beside it. I love taking my little one there before school gets out so he can have full reign. He loves you run around and swing.

Sometimes there is garbage mixed into the wood chips where people throw stuff down and not in the can. My boys also on 2 different occasions saw a snake under a bench and in a clump of grass inside the play area.

Nice park with various size playgrounds, a wide open field to play in, restrooms and benches. Our 14mth old loved it. Just be careful in the playground area as all the piles of leaves had ants hiding in them and our little guy did get covered in ants.

Good place only available its the roads inside for make exercises or ride with rolling skates, the slides and other things its closed right now.

Fed squirrels and it was nice weather. Bugs were present but thats Florida for you.

It was OK going to the park. No one was wearing a mask or practicing social distancing ️

Very nice park. We visited for Movies in the Park and had a great time. We look forward to visiting again to play on the playground.

One of our favorite parks in Lakeland. Big enough to have lots of play equipment and small enough that cant lost any body! Also great shade!

This is a great park to bring little ones. It is safe, has lots of space for them to run, and plenty of benches for adults to relax. It is always so full of life and energy and that makes it such a joy to visit! A great location and friendly neighborhood.

Great playground, lovely field, good pavilions with picnic tables, just no way of knowing when the school kids from next door will flood the playground or when theyll be taking recess outside playing really loud pop music.

Spent time with family. Nice day.

It has two zip lines for kids.... need I say more? Awesome!

Great little neighborhood park! Always kept nice and clean! The walking path there circles the whole park so parents can exercise and also great that most pet owners do in fact clean up their dog doo doo so that helps keep stench and flies down!!

It a great place to go with family. You can stay close to your kids while you cookout. Does need more picnic tables with grills. Make sure you take yours just in case you cant get a grill

Great park for kids and a nice field to do whatever recreation your heart desires, only thing its missing is a sand volleyball net. Down side is since it is so nice some people forget to pick up their trash

Fun playground for kids, nice pavilion and a huge area for sports or walking, including sidewalk in a big circle for bike riding, running etc. Bathroom available but not pretty but does the job. Parking is not plentiful. Overall, kids have fun here and thats what counts!

This park rocks! Definitely worth checking out.

Park is nice. Just wish all the nets were attached to the hoops of the BBall Court. Only one has it.

Park was decent. Pavillions are close to park. Easy to watch kids and still enjoy time with family and friends.

Large area for kids to run around & fo all sorts of outdoor activities just remember what your child is wearing! LOL

Cute park. Great playground. Parking is limited.

Always clean and lots of extra room to run and play ball if youre not looking to play on the playground structure. There is also a basketball court on the park grounds as well. There is a restroom house with a water fountain too.

Nice big open park with some jungle gym equipment, a rec field, and walking path

Go Lakeland Lancers Rugby Club! They practice here every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM and also just had their first local game here. Its a great big park.

Attractive space for children to play.

It’s in the middle of a neighborhood next to a elementary school. Very clean and safe area. Plenty of benches and shade to enjoy. Would be ideal for a family picnic.

Chaperone for elementary age students. They had a great time. There is plenty of fun equipment that offers lots of opportunities for physical activity. Also clean and well kept.

First of all...there are no mountains in Florida like the picture suggests. The picture looks nothing like the park. Look at the ones added by readers for better representation. Its nice but in an area of town that has some drug activity. Most of the time, you will not be bothered. I would not go at night or get out of the car if homeless people are there.

Great park! We came on a school day, so there werent many people there, and it was really nice! Kids enjoyed the ziplines.

Had so much fun here! Zip line, music oriented area, lots of balance promoted climbing & a huge open field where we played Frisbee. The restroom was unlocked & very clean!

Seven acre park with plenty of room for games and more. Rental pavilions available. Wonderful playground equipment. Plenty of parking. Nice walking path with wide open view across park. Occasional use of grassy area as landing zone for air ambulance helicopter mostly at night not often perhaps once every 3 months or so. A gem of green space for frisbee, football, soccer or flying a kite.

Very nice park to walk your dog. A really nice play area for kids also great picnic set ups. A lot of birthday party are held there.

My son loves this place

Dobbins Park is what a neighborhood park should be. Theres a communal feel here with neighborhood kids and families playing about the park. There is a large open field with both children and adults playing soccer and other activities. My children enjoyed particularly enjoyed the large play structure and ziplines that were in the play area.A common item Ive seen in Florida playgrounds are what I would call industrial instruments. Theyre usually xylophones or hard plastic drums for young ones to beat on. I would assume theyre installed at parks because children whom interact with instruments are given a higher percentage at finding success in life. With that being the instruments are present at Dobbins Park.On the opposite side are several basketball courts for games if thats your thing. This was not my first trip to Dobbins Park and wont be last.

Its a nice, newer park with an open field.The downsides are lots of people dont feel responsible for their trash and throw it wherever expecting Lakeland Parks and Recs. To clean it, they rarely do.

This park looks run down and the people who maintain the restrooms dont do a very good job. Also the people in the pavilion next to us had all their cars parked on the grass right between our pavilions. So all we could hear was their music.

This is a great park. The playground was just redone. Theres a nice pavilion, a large field for games, a walking biking trail with a bike pump. My kids love it.

This park has been around for the years that I have been here. Nice park for kids, many options; sidewalk to walk around, grassy area kids play in, basketball court, covered picnic tables & bbqs. Always a nice place to bring kids to play.

Great park, good for parties and picnic. Can get a bit crowded and parking sucks based! Otherwise good park. Dont go at night either

Pretty park and lots of room

My family has been visiting this park since 1979!! It has changed a few times since then, but memories remain! It sits adjacent to Dixieland Elementary School. Concrete pavilions, (with tables and BBQ grills,) are available to reserve for birthday parties etc..

My children love coming here to play. Basketball court is well kept. They have pavilions here too.

My kids love this park. They have a zip line and different place areas as well as a large empty grass area for picnics, games, etc.
