After being away from my art for over forty years, I signed up for a class at Main Street Art Center and I stayed. It has been exciting to see my skills and my confidence grow. The instructors there are not only helpful, but generally unified in the instructional techniques that they employ. This makes learning easier when you need to make up a class or when your regular instructor misses a class. The studio is very comfortable. I specially like all the signs that remind us of the direction we need to take in our painting. I had to leave the center when I moved away from the area, but I still hope to get back for a workshop now and again.

I tried talking to the front desk to book for drawing. they told they have slots and when i told my name to book a slot. i don’t know why she says i’m in wait list but i felt like they are ignoring intentionally based on where you come from or based on name. its been 4months.

Fantastic place to learn painting in any type of medium (oil, watercolors, pastels). Extremely knowledgeable and professionally trained art teachers/painters with a lot of experience. Friendly atmosphere conducive to learning new techniques of painting while having fun doing it!
