About two years ago my wife took her late fathers air force medals, photos and ribbons to NFP. We wanted something special to remember him by and they came up with a shadow box design that was really cool. Price was to good to be true and that should have been a tip off of the problems to come. Recently several of the medals feel off or slipped out of place. When my wife drop by NFP they made her feel very unwelcome and implied that the frame was two years old and these things happen.We decided to take the piece to a different framer in the Lake Zurich area for repairs. The new framer offered to take the shadow box apart for free just so they could see what was going on inside because they had heard bad things about NFP over the years. We were invited back to see how badly my father in laws memorabilia had been treated and given a quick education about proper mounting and acid free materials. The new shadow box was much more that the original, but we have a life time guarantee and no everything will look good for the Grand Kids someday. Buyer be very, very aware when you walk into Fancy Art and realize a price to good to be true will probably trash your art.
