Awesome park for picnicking! Really nice big pavilions and more than enough picnic tables. The ladies bathroom was actually nice and clean, unlike most parks. The nature trail was somewhat neglected. We were unable to complete it straight through so we went in the beginning as far as we could go before turning back and starting at the end. We really liked the open fields, little bridges, and the abundance of wildlife and lush foliage. Excellent place to reconnect with nature clear your mind and enjoy the fresh air. Huge parking lots would make for good parties and gatherings etc..Definitely a nice place to visit.

Very nice park. Seems to be dog friendly.No playground equipment any more, but a nice covered picnic area.Plenty of parking, tables, and grills.Real bathrooms and handicap parking.

Nice little park with clean bathrooms, a couple of pavilions, a disc golf course, and a humble trail. went there to just pass a little bit of time wandering around and enjoyed it, would visit again

Great place for an outing or fishing

Nice quiet park with a good trail. Can see some wildlife here. Has a few pavilions, picnic tables, grills, 9 holes of disc golf, restrooms and a water fountain. Was a little marshy in some areas, but it did just rain this past week.

If you want to go somewhere to have lunch or a picnic in the park with your loved ones, family or friends, this will a great spot to enjoy and have fun. Very nice and cozy spot to relax with a blanket. Go on the grass not by the lake to lye down, you might get a surprise....lol. Go fishing be safe

Desperately need light in the cross walk area

Nice little park, secluded. There are alligator and snake warnings posted if you like to take your pet with you. A nice clearing to play fetch or just run about.

We play disc golf here and its a medium difficulty course. Be careful on hole 9, overthrowing will land you in a small pond.

Great park for feeling like you are out in nature in the middle of the city. It is small, so it will not do for hiking, unless you are with little ones. The path and meadow both get large puddles after the rain. Plenty of frogs and minnows in the water, and beautiful flora. Picnic tables, bathrooms and garbage cans as well. A lovely spot to have a moment of solitude or a picnic.

The directions took me to the park. I am minutes from it. It doesn’t not have a walking trail so i have no use for the field. However looks clean and there’s picnic area and kiddy area as well.

Went to play disc golf and the course had to be designed by a child. Completely stupid, needs revamping.

We took our dog out here and had an absolute blast. Its very peaceful and no one was there except us and one other person. From my experience it normally stays pretty quiet and not very busy all the time which is exactly what I love because my dog cant go to regular dog parks because hes too crazy. I 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful park full of nature that happens to be dog friendly.

A beautiful day for a walk in Liberty Park..The water on Lake Monroe is high at this time. Several boats on the lake today.Love sitting on the benches and looking out over the lake.

Nice park good place to walk and mediate but the only thing I dont like is owners WHO have pets mainly dogs that let their dogs roam and poop and never pick up after their pets. This place is nice but dislike lazy pet owners who cant clean up after their own pets. That just let me know that these owners dont deserve to have dogs for pets if they are that lazy in helping the city keep its parks clean and beautiful

Peaceful

This is a great park. Go to this park often with my dog. Very clean and quiet. Bonus is that it has a CLEAN bathroom.

Though this park does not have many amenities, it is a wonderful place to sit down and relax. The park has a few gazebos and is centrally located in side a forest. It has a large field in which people often walk their dogs. Liberty Park is a nice place to escape the world for a minute.

Confusing setup

Its a great place to explore the outdoors. We did run into some people living out of there car and using the restrooms to bathe in. There is no play ground equipment which made it a great place for the kids to experience nature.
