Its in a nice location with incredibly committed directors and performers. For performers, its a great place to train because directors give helpful notes that stretch you, and as a general audience member, its fun to watch performers weave stories out of whole cloth. Its a unique theater with a lot of heart and polish!
I enjoy performances at Modjeska Playhouse. The caberet fundraiser was very good. I do wish the playhouse would be cooled down before performances. Afternoon performances on hot days are very uncomfortable.
My friend Debbie and I attended the 12/21/18, unscripted Hallmark Christmas show and it was fabulous. The entire cast did a great job of incorporating the audience suggestions to help weave a beloved holiday Hallmark storyline. It’s amazing to watch the cast continually utilize their listening skills and creativity to so fluidly present a story from start to finish. I truly admire their ability to accomplish this feat. The cast’s teamwork is phenomenal, they all do a wonderful job of supporting each other. This is the second show that I’ve attended and look forward to many more. It was a very entertaining evening and it’s nearby too!
Fantastic community theater. The improv shows are top notch!
On a superficial level, typical of every small community theatre out there - right down to the location in a light-industrial park. But the company here seems like a tighter unit than most, and they definitely enjoyed their work on both of the two nights Ive attended - unscripted improvisational theater. The fun and the passion for their performance is infectious, and this is a wonderful evenings entertainment. If you enjoy small community theatre, or think youd like to try it, highly recommended.
The theater was a small intimate setting. Loved it. Saw Five women in the same dress
The acting was superb! Lauren Rosen as Laura was incredible. I felt my emotions well up inside. We will be back again.Sherri and MarkSan Antonio, Texas
When I first came here I expected an amateur community theater. But what I got was a beautiful intimate experience. The directors know what they are doing, the talent is amazing. I am hooked, for me movie night is now theater night. I would much rather support this local non profit than a big name cinema.
Modjeska Unscripted theater keeps you on the edge of your seat and creates genuine heart-felt and laugh-out-loud (yep, I typed it out) moments. Every show is completely different, fun and unforgettable.
The production of Christopher Durang’s ‘Dentity Crisis and The Actor’s Nightmare is so smart and relentless and tragic that the laughs practically turn to ash in your mouth. I loved every minute.
Fun company, improv was awesome! However, they really need to not oversell tickets :( sitting on a plastic chair was not comfortable at all.... I couldve done 30 mins sitting on that kind of chair but not over 1 hour
An small place with good acting and serious plays. Its worth it
Nice people at the theater! Lovely production of same time next year, well-directed! Go out and support some local theater!
Fun shows and great actors. Very cozy environment too. Always makes for a good/different night out.
The unscripted plays are awesome. Very creative and entertaining. They do different genres/themes throughout the year, Ive seen them all and always have a good time.
Place was packed! Sold out performance always a good sign. Talanted cast very adept at unscripted ad-lib presentations. Great bang for the buck, Ive certainly paid a lot more for a lot less entertainment
A nice little theater, but a bit hard to find in the maze of the building complex its in.
Amazing! One of the best little theatres any one can go to! 10/10 and their improv shows will crack you up!
Saw an excellent production of The Glass Menagerie
Odd wall in the theatre, limiting seat access and making me claustrophobic.
Novel, well played especially for improv... Will be a winner once they have martinis at intermission...
Great energy, production and talent. A terrific way to spend an evening.
Intimate local theater with professional acting and staging. Thoroughly enjoyed Barefoot in the Park.
Great little playhouse, could use better a/c.
Tucked into an office park, this 50-seat theatre founded in 2016 to support community acting & experimental performances. Accessible with free parking & fresh made popcorn
Fantastic play, highly recommended
Nice little theatre and the performers were fun and talented
Wonderful, great play.
Great place, quite intimate, small stage, quality productions.
Wonderful
Great improv!!
