Lahaina Shores Beach Resort

We rented a condo from this resort through Airbnb. Our condo faces the ocean. You really can’t beat waking up to the sound of the ocean. The hot tub and pool close at 10pm. There is also laundry on every floor. I would stay here again! The staff were accommodating and friendly. There is no restaurant or bar though but that’s ok. It’s a 5 min walk into the town of Lahaina. Great location!

Stayed here for 4 nights. I had a mountain view room, with amazing views. The room was very comfortable and cozy, with full kitchen and a balcony. The best part was access to the private beach and its location. It takes just a 5 minutes walk from hotel to the Lahaina market.

We usually stay in the Kaanapali area when we stay in Maui but decided to try the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort this time and are very happy we did. We had a lovely unit with a beautiful full on view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets. We walked through Lahaina everyday. So conveniently located!!! Plenty of restaurants, bars and stores right within a couple of blocks of the location. The property is very quite and the condo was very clean and comfortable. A nice beachfront attached to the property for sunbathing or walking along the beach. A large grassy area around the pool to sit and relax or read a book. If you are interested in swimming in a pool I would say this pool is somewhat small. Not the size of larger resorts pools. It did not make a difference to us. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I loved staying here. It was quiet, with an older crowd, the maid service was great and everyone was friendly. We received a free bag at check and won another one from the concierge. The beach outside the hotel was fantastic to come back and relax on and had great snorkeling so we could go out and come right back to our room whenever we wanted. The room with a water view was beautiful. We ate breakfast and lunch on the deck whenever we were in the room. We will definitely be back!

I am so happy we chose this place for our stay on this side of the island. The service was excellent, the rooms were very well maintained and the pool and beach area were top. The beach is a nice sand beach and water is shallow with rocks (not all sand) outside the hotel, but there are of course other beaches nearby.There are a few restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores just within a few minutes walk, and then you are 10min walk to the centre of Front Street. Note there is no pool service or reataurant directly at the hotel.Would stay here again for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Great location, free parking (spaces were a little tight like others have mentioned), and the staff was wonderful. We stayed for 6 nights and I would gladly come back here again.Shout out to Vern at the front desk for all of the help during our stay!

This is the perfect place to chill. The grounds are all private. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a well done kitchen, bathroom and plenty a space for all your belongings. The view is amazing and youll fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing, so relaxing. There is a bar, restaurants and an ABC store next door and its a 5 min walk to the heart of Lahaina where all the action is. Just perfect!

Great vibe. Clean, friendly. Pretty much everything is with in walking distance. Great place to stay if you want to relax or paddleboard / surf.

This is my favourite hotel to stay at when I visit Maui. The rooms are the perfect size and they come with everything you need. The room service is excellent. The people working here are always so helpful and happy. I love how close it is for me to walk along Front Street. The hotel is nice and quiet too. The pool, hotub are excellent! It’s close to everything you need for the perfect getaway!!

Chester at the reception is the best! Also here this is one hotel where you should really invest into ocean view. The corner room is fantastic.

What a great place for vacation. When we stepped into our room, we were so beyond pleasantly surprised. The ocean view from the balcony is AMAZING. It was great to have the sliders open and listen to the crashing waves through the screens.

This place is fantastic. I loved the tranquility about it, yet walk 2 blocks down to historic shopping area and you have a different atmosphere. The ocean view was amazing. The pool is adequate unless you want to spend your whole day at pool. There is another center right next door, where there is a Luau, as well as a restaurant/ bar called Pacific’o with a nice open area to enjoy the view right outside the beach.The ocean does have a few rocks but you can go into it, we did and so did a lot of other people. I would definitely go back to this Lahaina resort. I loved it!!!

I love that this hotel is literally just yards to the beach. You can see the ocean from the lobby.Great service, and very clean.Full kitchen and utensils.I just wish the bed and pillows were more comfortable. That would be my only complaint.

This is a nice place to stay. It has a nice laidback feel to it, with beautiful views and a friendly staff. Just next door theres a shopping center with restaurants. Then about three blocks down theres another with more options.

Amazing condo resort!! Nothing but nice things to say about this place. Beautiful views of both the mountains and the ocean. Very friendly staff and concierge available on main lobby. Chair and umbrella rentals available for the beach. Backs up to a nice beach. Would recommend this place in a heart beat. We stayed in a studio premier suit. The view from our 6th floor balcony was beautiful.

Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. This efficiently run resort with its courteous staff run a tight ship. There is lots of aloha spirit here. Our kids rented a one bedroom, one bath on the fourth floor, facing the ocean. Nicely appointed, the kitchen has a pretty much everything that you need. The view is to die for. You are right on the beach and very close to shopping and restaurants. Great location. I cant enough about this wonderful resort. The beach is clean and wide enough for sunning yourself. Check it out. Aloha!

Freaking fantastic! Awesome courteous service with an awesome room. We stayed at the ocean front premiere studio with a kitchenette and absolutely enjoyed our stay. We were actually a bit sad when we left yesterday. There is a pool and a hottie next to the beach and it was within walking distance of the local restaurants, bars and shops.

We absolutely loved this resort. There is everything - full kitchen, amazing views, pool, sandy beach, and helpful staff. It is less than minutes of walking from the Lahaina touristy restaurant area. There is free covered paid parking. Overall A++, we would love to come and visit again

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff. Wasnt a fan of the pool area.Which is fine because we prefer the beach. Next door to restaurants, cafes. One small store so wasnt packed with tourists. Loved it.

We had a wonderful time in room 603. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, oven, microwave, refrigerator and even a toaster. The ocean front view is amazing, the bed comfortable and the service was great. Highly recommend.

Loved our room; faced the beach and had a complete kitchen.... Draw back was no room service, if you didnt feel like cooking. Parking garage was sketchy, but free.

Absolutely fantastic stay Jan - Feb 2020. We had a beautiful mountain view room. Be warned, I was awoken by chicken every morning at about 4:30-5:00 AM. I used my natural chicken wake-up call as a signal to go downstairs to watch the sunrise on the beach.Lovely room, perfect views, immediately on the beach. If I won the lottery, Id buy a room here and move in permanently.

My husband and I are here for 10 days for our honeymoon and we love it. Right on the edge of Old Lahaina town so super convenient to walk to tons of bars, shops and restaurants. The view is amazing and I love that the beach is calm and doesnt get big waves because of the shore break. The room is clean and updated and the bed is firm which is great for my back.

Great value: walkable to the historic downtown shopping of Lahaina; friendly, professional staff; and the closest you can put a room to the beach. Warning to those whom may expect otherwise: no breakfast, no gym, but quiet. Would stay here again if in Lahaina.

It was a beautiful ocean front room with kitchen on the second floor. Loved that it was so close to the beach and ocean. We would leave our balcony door open at night and listen to the ocean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Everything you need and fun things to do was all in walking distance. We would come back to this resort again.

Great location within easy walking distance to old Town Lahaina. Shops and restaurants right next door, yet quiet and away from busy tourist areas. Full kitchen facilities a plus!

Best place to stay in Lahaina. Right on Front Street but its in a quiet area. With a short 5-7 minute walk youre right where all the action is. Rooms were spacious and had everything you need including a fully stocked kitchen. Best of all its literally three steps to the beach. Not sure whats its like during high season but when we were there the beach was empty. Cant beat the views.We had a mountain view room and waking up the that every morning was pretty spectacular. I would return here in a heartbeat.

We have been staying here for years. The rooms have been renovated recently. LSBR is conveniently located on south Front Street with easy walking distance from downtown Lahaina. Would highly recommend this kick back beach resort. Bp

We stayed here for our honeymoon back in May 2019. We really liked the hotel and location, such a beautiful location. We liked how we could cook breakfast in our room and be gone for the day. There was a few downsides; The pool area was okay and the parking area was a little ghetto. Other than that all was well.

Nice place. Room had been updated with new appliaces, design and hardware. No resort fee. No restaurant, bar or workout room on site. Parking is in a lot next to the hotel. A small pool is on site. Ocean is steps away from the grassy area surrounding the pool. Mountain view room had a terrific view! Very low key accommodations right on Front Street in Lahaina. Staff is very polite and helpful.Resort is right next to the place where they have the Old Lahina Luau. You can see it from the beach.Ill be staying there again!

Stayed in a privately owned unit. Everything was great, clean,well stocked as a condo.nice pool. The beach is just steps away. Great shopping in walking distance.

Nice quiet resort in a great location. You can walk to downtown Lahaina and its a short drive to Kaanapali and other areas. The resort is very clean, the staff is nice and having a full kitchen was also great. Its a nice alternative to the big resorts that are noisy with kids running all around. This is our second stay here and we would definitely return!

Beautiful setting and prompt service whenever needed. Cost was within reason, especially considering the quality of the facility. Even the laundry room has a view! Easy access to the beach, pool, spa. And an easy walk to any part of old town Lahaina. Many are right next door, at the 505 Shops.

The resort was great along with the beach. The weather was fantastic. My son had his wedding at Dragon Fruit Farm and it was amazing. I can’t wait to come back to see more of the island. I would definitely stay at the resort again.

Great place for a couple to stay, it was a good price and included free parking. The area is at the start of what one might call the tourist section, so it still has a good amount of local vibe. Theres a bar and good restaurants nearby and its a short walk to the start of the actual touristy shops.The room is clean, large enough for 2 people to be very comfortable and well soundproofed. You can open your sliding door and enjoy the ocean and hearing the luau next door. The oceanside view is unbeatable, the mountainside view is less so. The kitchen area gives enough room to cook and a full size fridge.The staff is very nice, but they do only have one person working as a concierge so you could wait an hour just to talk to him. There is a nice small pool and hot tub and chairs/umbrellas before you go out on the beach. The beach access is card protected (but then public as with all beaches in Maui).

This is our second year staying here. I absolutely love this place. Ocean view rooms that are clean and well furnished. A kitchen with all the tools and appliances you need. The staff is super friendly and keep the resort very clean. The beach is outstanding....feels almost private and the water is clear. I’ve seen more turtles and fish off the beach here than on guided snorkeling trips. I am already ready to book here again for next year!

Great mix of what you want without paying for more than you need. Great pool and small hot tube, tables with umbrellas, and lots of lounging chairs on its grassy area. The beach is also incredibly close if you want to go through the gate. Small shower for feet to get sand off after too. Our room was nicely air conditioned and had a beautiful view from the 4th floor. Food and a small corner store is right beside the resort as well. Great access to the main drag in Lahaina and is an easy walk. Would definitely stay here again. Get used to hearing the Luau next door every night though. Better yet, go to it, we really enjoyed it.

Typical Hawaii .. meaning: stunning, beautiful, and relaxing. Beachfront with on-site swiming pool. Clean room with full kitchen. Walking distance to main shopping district. I wasnt disappointed with my stay.

Stayed here in late September for 4 nights. Nice and clean hotel. The room was cleaned daily and staff was pleasant.I wouldve given 4 stars but construction was taking place for 2 days during our stay and we were not informed prior to. Then to top it off Chester places us in a room right next to the construction area.Other than the banging and drilling the place was great.

Location is great if you like spending time at front street in lahaina. Also its right on the beach which is great but it gets a little rocky about 15 feet into the water.The room we had smelt like an old smoky/musty room but was decently modern and furnished.Also just a note that there are only a few premier rooms with king beds so dont expect one. If you can get an ocean front room it is worth it. The view is fantastic.

We stayed in an end unit privately owned condo that is leased out year round. It was great! Nicely appointed apt, great view, outdoor pool, quiet location, close--but not too close-- to restaurants, etc.

Right on the beach with beautiful views. It isnt Ritzy but for the price youre getting a much more down to earth experience without rude entitled individuals.... And its right on a swimmable/snorkleable beach!!!

This is a great location in town. Shops and restaurants just a few steps away. Kitchen has all utensils and appliances needed for cooking. Nice room and beautiful view from balcony. Pool on property and beach right next to property. A very relaxing place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Lahaina Shores. We booked through Costco travel and stayed here for a week in November. Like any place you have your pros and cons, and for this hotel, my cons are merely for the sake of argument, and I’ll be the first to admit I’m really nitpicking here. But for what it’s worth (which isn’t much) here goes:Cons:– The hotel had an isolated feel to it at times. The pool and beach were often fairly empty (not always though, I guess it all depends on what time of year you go and who’s staying at the hotel that week). I’m sure for lots of people this is ideal. However for someone like me, and this is purely a personal preference, I prefer a little more action, I love to people watch, so if you fall in that category, then this hotel isn’t the best place for that.– The hotel beach was on the narrow side and the ocean was shallow and rocky (don’t even think of going too far out without water shoes), but if you’re willing to walk far enough out in the water you can do some beginner snorkeling (I was even able to swim along a sea turtle one day WOO HOO!). Anyway, if you’re looking to do a LOT of swimming/snorkeling/ride waves, you won’t be able to do much of that that here.– Hotel in general is dated. I personally didn’t even notice (apparently my wife did right away, but she watches HGTV all the time ha-ha) until we visited a couple of other hotels over on Kaanapali. When we got back to Lahaina Shores I definitely realized at that point, oh yes, this place could definitely use a facelift.Pros:- Location, location, location! Besides the obvious of being right on the ocean, right next store is a little shopping center including a general store that had the basic food essentials and a couple of little restaurants, and then if you walked a few minutes on Front Street you had an endless choice of restaurants and shops to choose from. Definitely loved walking up and down Front Street every evening.- Having a kitchen in the unit was fantastic! Eating out in Maui can get extremely expensive, so being able to make breakfast in the room every morning, and an occasional lunch, was a great way to save a penny here and there.- That view…OH THAT VIEW!!!!!! We had an ocean view room and it was absolutely STUNNING!! If you can afford it, *definitely* spring for it. Every morning we woke up and looked out that window it truly felt like we were in paradise. Worth every single penny for that alone.All in all we would without question stay here again in a heartbeat! The pros significantly outweighed the cons in our book. The staff we dealt with were all delightful and courteous, the grounds were well kept, and the views obviously speak for themselves. Cheers/Prost/Salud!

A Year and a half later im writing this. But owell. I was there because my mother died.... I was there to spread ashes with my oma. ( german for grandma ) The hotel and staff were amazing and super accommodating. The hotel itself was extremely clean. The bar next door is full of locals which wouldnt normally be a issue aside from the fact that i spent 11 days going there and the bartender is a..... not all the time nice person. If you dont bring a car youll have to walk a little but nothing significant. Its close to everything, and in a good spot so you dont have to rent a car. 2 blocks max and youre in the middle of lahina . I was there in the middle of a hurricane AND island fire..... was not a good last week but not due to the hotels fault. The ranch above it even saved the horses which i was super happy about because I watched the fire go straight at it. Pool is clean, grills for what you want to cook, hot tub is also clean. honestly I have no complaints about the hotel itself.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was good. The room was quiet, clean and spacious for our needs. The only problem we had was related to the hotel service. To move from one room to another (we did not want to be in the room next to elevators) took several hours due to required inspection of other rooms (???). Nonetheless, nice place close to Lahaina Historic District.

This is a three star hotel. The location is really the best thing going for this hotel. It’s right on the beach and it’s close to shopping. There is no gym and the rooms are dated. Otherwise just ok.

I would get Lahaina shores and Lisa stansfeld the 0 stars if I could. Lisa outright lied to me about offering me a refund due to the cancelations and problems from covid 19. I was understanding and waited several weeks while she sorted through some of the administrative problems. She has not responded to contact now in over a week and has proved her offer to have been deceptive and untrue. Lisa stansfeld does not stand on her word and should not be rented from. Avoid Lahaina shores at all costs. Do not waste your money and ruin your Hawaii experience as I have. Let me save you the time. DO NOT STAY AT LAHAINA SHORES. YOULL GET ROBBED.

Great place to stay if you want to be near the downtown lahaina food, shopping the the banyan tree. Clean comfortable rooms,welcoming staff,knowledgeable concerige helped us plan a day trip.we didnt have an ocean view but that was ok, because look at this beautiful Maui sunrise! Theres more to see on Maui than the beaches.

Clean, spacious rooms. If you cant afford the beach view, you are instead treated to an amazing view of the mountains on the inner side of the island, it makes for amazing sunrise photos. Get a high room to avoid the street power cables and posts.

Best location in Maui. Located on the historic front street but very quiet. Just one block away from all the shops, restaurants, harbor, and all the ocean activities. Private beach is also steps away from the lobby. Ample parking.

Nice condo hotel along the beach. Its next to a place that runs luaus and a shopping center with water lessons and other establishments. The wifi here was spotty and they dont offer WiFi in common areas so I couldnt really work while staying here.They do have plenty of garage parking and is a close walk to front Street and all the shops.

Beautiful place to stay . Rooms are spacious and clean. The decor is adorable. Waking up to this view is the best.

Really comfortable. Right on the beach. I recommend opting for an ocean view room. Its also a comfortable walk to some very good restaurants.

Lahaina Shores came recommended by a couple of friends and did not disappoint, it was exactly what we were looking for. Our children are grown so we dont require kid friendly activities (but we enjoy having children around) and we are well past the age of partying (too old for Snapchat but too young for Lifealert). Due to my husbands mobility, we didnt want a sprawling resort that required a lot of walking. I enjoy cooking and having a full kitchen was great! Every morning we had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean and after a few hours of exploring Maui we would come back to room 631 and have afternoon snacks on the balcony before heading off for an evening out. At night we would come back to our room and drift off to sleep to the sound of the ocean below. Edwin at the front desk was wonderful getting us checked in, Piili (not sure how to spell it) with Expedia booked us on tours and suggested great beaches to visit, our room was impeccably cleaned each day, and the facility and grounds were always clean and being looked after by staff. We didnt miss not having a restaurant, bar, or room service, as we stocked our kitchen, and the 505 shops are right next store as well, complete with eateries and scuba/swim shops to rent equipment. There are plenty of chaise lounges surrounding the pool but bring water shoes as the entrance to the ocean is a bit rocky. Mahalo Lahaina Shores and staff, we are looking forward to returning next year!

This was not a 5 star place but it had everything we needed. The bed was too hard for me but everything else worked. I love that there were beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler for us to use. I would book this room again, especially with a better mattress.

Housekeeping service is good, place is clean, and close proximity to bars, restaurants, and shopping. Its day 5 of 7 on our vacation and thats where things went south. There is construction going on our floor, seemingly right next door to us. Loud drilling or other construction noise that has been going on all day has made it difficult to stay in the room at all and its pretty warm out today. We just want to rest and cant do that here. Maybe its just bad timing but, I will think twice before booking again.

A great, relaxed place to enjoy Hawaii from. The staff are wonderfully friendly and the location is perfectly close to Lahaina town.

Spent the best week of our lives here and will plan to go back. Had a premier room and views to die for. The beach was amazing and never had more than a dozen people in sight the whole time we were there.

It was walking distance to everything, yet not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle and so very quiet and night time.The view from our beach front view was amazing..Will definitely stay here again if I go back to Maui. The only thing I would have maybe liked was if they had a a restaurant or a snack bar in the premises but there was a convient store next to the hotel.

I love this hotel and will be back. Most convenient hotel in Lahaina. Shopping and restaurants right out the doors. Hundreds of shops within walking distance. Right on the water! But has a pool and hot tub if you want them. Gorgeous views of the ocean and mountains. Very reasonably priced. Rooms with kitchens and balconies. My wife Loved the bathrooms too.

Amazing location in Lahaina. The parking was convenient but the spaces were really small. The room had everything you would need and was a good size. The resort had a nice small beach area and a small pool.

Spent a week here and loved everything about this place! The rooms were clean and modern, spacious bathroom and shower, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The pool, hot tub, and lawn area was beautiful. Very well kept and not too crowded like the mega resorts. There was always a lively buzz of people coming in and out (we were there during Christmas). Loved the easy access to the beach.

Great place. Wish the 1 bedroom apartments were not only on the first floor. Wish the jacuzzi and pool were open earlier. I also wish that they had a continental breakfast.

Wow, for me this place is wonderful, its one of the best place in the pacific. I wish myself to leave here, sometines. I recoment this for everone specially for the newly wed, excellent place!
