Scandal Bar is basically an extreme hot spot for COVID-19 which in turn effects the city of Lafayette. The refusal to wear masks or social distance in a time of pandemic shows the ignorance and refusal of protecting their own city, people they love and the health of others. Sadly, none of the workers were wearing masks and they let their bar become overcrowded. I was the only one wearing a mask and outside trying to social distance but I didn’t last long at the bar. I actually came with a friend and thinking outside would be appropriate and it wasn’t. If you’re going to be a conservative Christian state....perhaps following your supposed morals and values of love should be considered? During this pandemic, businesses are truly showing their philosophy and message: either, I give damn about others and our city or I don’t. Scandal has chosen the ignorant side to be responsible for the time being. Selfishness at the core.
