I really love this place, especially early in the morning...i definitely will go here very often.

Use to be the spot to get together for a beach day or to meet friends and hang out. Lately trash is over flowing and needles can be easily found all over the entire property as well as small baggies.As of late, its the gathering place for the homeless to be squatters and some bicycle group to prey upon people watching the sunset and walking/biking the W.O.W trail.

We actually set out for a different location but ended up here. Glad we found it. Super clean water . Bathrooms.. not spotless clean but available and useable. We will definitely go back...only 4 stars because some of the crowd there can get loud and I prefer to enjoy the natural sounds of nature and not other peoples music.

My first time here, Im no expert. It was clean and the water was great. Just what I needed after a run in 90 degree weather. Wish I had a raft I would have stayed in longer. Didnt go out very far. Near my waist high. Id go again but bring a raft. Water was pretty clean, it was clear.

Tend to be a lot of people the upkeep isnt great but the beach itself is very pretty

Its so quiet and peaceful there. The playground is perfect and there is a marked swimming area that is perfect for little ones, not deep at all

Would give five stars but someone keeps beinrinr their dog down there and poop on the shore line. Otherwise its my favorite little secret getaway

Had fun, no limits on cv19 so thats cool. Just watch out for broken beer bottles and needles on the beach or dead fish floating around since they have no staff maintaining the area. On the plus side they did just fix the parking lot and allow people to drink alcohol and cook so perfect for little kids with the playground!

Shallow beach lots of sun not many spots for shade. Bathrooms on site till 5pm. Pretty good spot for enjoying the water.

Great place to bring small children for swimming. The water at the rope is about knee deep on my 6ft tall husband. Both my 2 and 4 yo comfortably and confidently played in the water all the way to the ropes. There is plenty of beach space, some picnic tables, clean bathrooms, swings and some playground equipment.

Water looked clear and clean, view of the mountains as a backdrop is amazing, beach was clean as was the bathrooms.

The beach was COVERED in feces. It smelled awful, and there were no signs warning of waste on the beach and in the water.

A fine little family outing spot. Its equipped with picnic benches and has a swingset and rope climbing set.

Best visited late spring or early summer. When lake warms, there is a higher bacteria presence. Also, some of the homeless population has taken to residing there. Could use a better police presence.

The beach was great until a group of local homeless showed up all were mostly intoxicated, which Is fine if you keep to yourself. We chose a table in the shade because we had young children. Everything was fine until a homeless completely entoxicaint man became belligerent, started swearing and was told to leave out of this large homeless group. After about 35 min another 4 men completely emaciated, dirty and homeless came off the wow trail, these guys were drunk. One almost fell on my one year old. One of the men out of the group decides to pick a fight with the first guy that left the group in the middle of the beach, mind you there are about 20-30 families there. Near my table this man in his 40s stumbling and reeking of cigarettes and cheap booze says something to a friend who was with us. She said move along there are families here. He starts a fight with her calling her names and eventually leads to telling her that hes going to beat her up. We finally had enough and call the cops, while this guy stumbles around swearing and being a jerk, there is a full fist fight in the middle of the beach between 2 women one whos homeless, the city needs to do something about the homeless population and how they think they own the rights to the beach and they patrol the beach this is pretty ridiculous you cant just come down here and have a good day with your family without running into a bunch of drunks that live in the woods. if there was more police presence may be a bike cop that would come down in the afternoon I feel it would be a better beach. the beach itself has cleaned up a lot in the past few years it is not as dirty anymore the playground is nice and theres plenty of parking.

Simple place, only a few playground pieces. But has a restroom, and is right on the - picture perfect! This spot actually reminds me of Hawaii a little.

Only beach I can smoke at without getting that look. I have heard that it is to be avoided at night, but I dont go to the beach at night anyway. During the day this is where regular people bring their kids. They have a really awesome jungle gym made of cable, lots of fun to climb!

Nice little beach. Been going there since I was little. Bike trail, ample parking. Bathroom open occasionally. Nearby convenience stores for refreshments. Playground with swings, climber and ride on bobber things.

Needed to be cleaned a bit more in the sand but the water was beautiful!

Went with my three young kids. The trash bins were completely overfilled and trash was all over the place. We also witnessed a couple searching for something and acting odd when we arrived, didnt think much of it. But after a few moments they beelined for us and about 2 feet from were we had been standing was a glass pipe of some kind, they picked it up and stated they were cleaning up trash and walked away, leaving everything but the pipe behind. Wont be visiting again.

An okay alternative to some of the other beaches in the area, but it felt a little shady (not in a good way). also lots of goose poop all over the beach, and the water wasnt very clear. probably wont return.

Went there with family and friends. Water was filled with trash and so was the park. Enjoyed the location. If it wasnt for homeless people and the trash its probably one of the nicest places to be at in laconia.

Its small beach on a beautiful lake mostly locals go it usually has life guards on during summer vacation for the kids. Usually very low toned cook outs permitted no alcohol enjoy.

The only thing this beach has going for it is that is free and has small bathroom facility.The swimming area was very weedy. I know its a lake but having weeds wrapped around your legs is not fun for me or my kids.There was trash in water.The beach was crowded and the company left a lot to be desired too. We had a guy obviously on drugs heavily drooling and mumbling incoherently and several people smoking marijuana around their children.

Not a bad place if you like to hang with the bums.

Nice clean place. The beach area is ok to swim in during the summer (as we do all the time). And its a great place to launch kyacts and canoes.

There needs to be a serious clean up and fix made to this beach. It has a bad rep on finding needles in the sand thanks to the local drug addicts that dont have any respect for the fellow beach goers and children of the town. Besides that the park.. Come on really? I feel like someones kids gonna get hepatitis from the rusted swings or break one of the ropes on the tower thing fall and crack open their skull or worse. Its got potential come on city of Laconia! Make it a project dont waste it.

I wouldnt give it any stars it as dirty and disgusting. The city of laconia should be ashamed. I will never go back

This beach is ok. Beautiful views, but there is goose poop all over the sand and the bathrooms are very basic. There isnt even a bench for changing.

Dog poop all over the beach.its the responsibility of the pets owners to pick up after their dogs.... shame!!!
