Pleasant and nice atmosphere for the family to bring during the holidays.
This mill is such a great learning experience for any age. I have attended weddings, political events, craft fairs, fundraisers and group tours there. All of the events were lovely. The way they have preserved is fascinating. You can actually see how the water was used to power the mill. The mill is gives school tours that are interactive. The Belknap mill has an elevator and bathrooms available as well as a gift shop. Plenty of parking adjacent next to Rotory park.
We had a great experience at the Belknap Mill. We had our wedding reception in the Chertok Room on the second room and it was perfect. Beautiful room with brick walls and great lighting. Staff was also very professional and courteous throughout our planning process. The price was right where we needed it to be and well worth it. I would recommend the Belknap Mill to anyone without reservation.
Was there for a wedding. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful, while going out of their way to make out event go smoothly. The event room was set up perfectly. Just an all around great venue.
It was a rainy day when we had visited, but that did not stop us from taking some pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenery! Built in 1823, the Belknap Mill is the only one of its kind left today! The mill was in operation until 1969, and at that time it was producing socks. In 1970 the mill was given the name of the Belknap Mill Society. Become a member, and support the mill. But also, they are a museum, a wedding vendor, and of course a BEAUTIFUL place to visit in Laconia, NH. We look forward to visiting again in the very near future with better weather!
That place is gorgeous! I will be back for more photo shoot

This is a hidden gem! Maggie was my guide, and she was extremely knowledgeable and overall just wonderful to talk with! Id never learned so much about the Industrial Revolution before! The machines are incredible, to see the technology and innovention they had back over 100 years ago! Great place for history buffs to visit!
Great place to host school events! Beautiful outside area, rustic indoors.
A great location to bring the family for a really great slice of historical Americana. See one of the last locations to clearly show where the industrial age was born. Beautiful ground really cool location. A really good family time with a great quaint gift shop. If your in the area a nice afternoon stop.
