Great experience. The food was good quality. I recommend the beef and broccoli - very good with ginger gravey. The egg rolls were the best we had and our kids loved seeing the coy pond!
Love coming here! Very nice and pleasant staff. Food is amazing...have been coming here for years.
Everytime we come here on vacation I absolutely love to visit here! Would recommend to everyone!!!
It was A beautiful place in New Hampshire. The food was good. Dumplings could have been more hot.
First time going. Everything was delicious except the fried rice my wife didnt care for that
This spot is worth a try. They serve large portions for affordable prices. Always well organized and with great mood. Highly recommended.
This is probably the worse Chinese food I have ever eaten. The fried rice had no flavor and was very dry. I ordered Tangerine Chicken and was so dissatisfied. There were big chunks of chicken pieces and also tasteless. The spring roll was soggy and flat. Will never order from there again. Lesson learned!
Fantastic and delightful food, I loved the character this place has, and the employees were very kind. I will surely eat here again.
I really enjoyed their food. I always get great customer service here. The place is neat and the staff members are always super nice. Will visit here again.
We decided to pop in to grab a quick bite to eat, maybe enjoy some karaoke this evening. The bartender, after I could pry her away from her phone, bluntly told me the kitchens closed before proceeding onto another barfly without asking me if me and my girlfriend wanted a drink! We quickly got the general impression that we werent welcome among the others so we left! Well never go back! Absolutely miserable service!!!!
The meals and service were beyond my expectations. I surely enjoyed the vibes of this place. Awesome spot to take my family out for lunch.
I was very disappointed. The food was over cooked making it tough and the fried rice had a really strange taste to it. Definitely will not go back.
The food at China Bistro used to be excellent. It is now unacceptable. The lunch special soup was lukewarm, as was the food. The fried rice was dry and bland, and the beef in my main dish was tough. On top of that, I got food poisoning, with sharp stomach pains starting within a half hour of eating there. I am still suffering symptoms 24 hours later.Warning: Do not eat at the China Bistro!
Small portions for the price. Impertinent delivery lady.
Food litterly served cold,, ambience was clean & nice. very dissapointing, it is so hard to find a decent and trustworthy Chinese style resteraunt in any local town in the last ten yrs. I so miss,, ( hawian island ) once again no where to go,, thanks for the great disappointment,, there is no shame, when only there to take our money, and obviously do not care about return buissness. SO COLD...IN THE FOOD SERVICE 21YEARS...
A little to expensive for Chinese foodOther than that food is ok
Delivered in under 30 minutes with minimal contact! Food is always delicious!
The sign said, “Best Crab Rangoon in the country”. So we stopped in. My husband is a crab Rangoon expert. YES they do have the best but the food is just ok. Pork fried rice was dry and the rest mediocre.
Amazing food quick service
Exceed my expectations! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was spot on. I will definitely be back.
Some of the best food ever!
Fairly decent chinese food. Their lo mein is very good.
This is the funniest place I’ve ever been. Worst Karaoke I’ve ever heard by a ton. Last guy knew MAYBE 11 words to “Night Moves”... it was epic. I’ll definitely be back and I still haven’t tried the food lmao.
Send the health inspector here. This place smells like propane as you soon walk in. The food, service and cleanliness is awful . We are never coming back. AWFUL,GROSS
Staff are friendly, takeout is quick, and the crab rangoon is the best in the area.
Delicious!! And fast delivery. Very happy we tried china bistro xx
Not alot of options. Very pricy for amount and quality of food.
This used to be called Oriental Gardens. The food has changed since the change happened. Its ok and better then most places in the area but definitely on of the most expensive!
Tea and house rice were bland with no flavor. On the plus side the amazing chicken was good and the beef he fen was very tasty.
Its been 90 minutes since we ordered. Still no food. Just sent one of my family out to pick it up because they apparently cant find an address thats clearly and easily available on Google Maps. Bonus - they never asked for directions and refused to listen when we offered to provide them. Instead, they hung up on us. Twice. If the food was worth it, Ill edit the review. Not holding my breath though.Update: We got the food. Disgusting. Can I give this place negative stars?
Dirty. Tables were not washed. Cups were dirty. They didnt take debit cards cash only and were so rude when i had to go get money from the atm. Food was gross to top it off
The food was mediocre and the prices are high. Beautiful building and very nice service, though.
Food great, service good but not great
The sesame chicken was very gummy and goopy, it tasted like it was microwaved, also it was kind of cold. The waiter also got our orders wrong and had very lousy service and he never asked how our food was. The rice also had a lot of oils in it. It had chicken thrown on top. It was not chicken fried rice. Would reccomend to stay away from.Update: It is now the next day i have been feeling sick and have thrown up.
This is the old OGs... Oriental Gardens... Best Crab Rangoo EVER!
Best crab ragoons
For price of food would expect more and better..
Ordered delivery for while I was at work and was super impressed. Arrived very quickly. I got General Gaus chicken, pork fried rice, crab Rangoon and wonton soup. The chicken itself was a bit subpar. But everything else was spectacular. The soup was amazing and the Crab Rangoon were without a doubt the BEST Ive ever had. 9/10 definitely recommend!
Not getting the bad reviews. This is a high four in NY, which makes it a solid five in NH. Everything I have had here is wonderful. Hot and sour soup is excellent. Hot Pepper Crispy Chicken is the single best lunch special I have ever had. They have perhaps the only authentic menu in NH. They allege to have the countries best crab Rangoon. Maybe an exaggeration, but not by much. They are excellent. The wait staff at lunch is a little curt, but not unfriendly. If you need a waitress named Tiffany who sits at your booth and laughs at your lame jokes, go to a chain restaurant. If you want excellent fresh and savory Asian food, go to China Bistro.
Best Chinese food ever. My boyfriend and I come here all time. Hes from NYC and says its in his top 3 Chinese food places hes ever been to. Love the waitress that we get every time!
Great Food! Quick Service! Great Staff! Love it.. Me and my wife go there many times a week...I cant get enough! If you love food like I do you should Check this place out...
Sat outside for drinks
Food was delicious. Never cone up this way with out stopping to try. Very criendly service !
Best crabrangoon around.
Its beautiful and the food is really good
They have a tasty Pork Chop Suey!
Best Chinese food in town
Authentic East Coast Chinese. Family owned and operated.
Went for the first time and best Chinese food we have ever had! Boneless ribs were tender and sweet without being dried out. Crab Rangoons were to die for! My favorite was the sushi. The volcano and spicy maki rolls were the freshest sushi I’ve had and by far the best! Prices are on the more pricey side but they more than make up for it with the quality of food and the hospitality of staff!
Loved it..cant wait to go back, was so fresh and hot..and it was new years eve
Almost inedible food, indifferent service.
On a very day they kept things going as fast they could. They have the best crab rango ever. The place makes you feel like your in China. Just love this place.
Good food, good price, friendly people.
We came here probably 5 or six years ago for the first time, best crabrangoons weve ever had, we came back every year while we stayed across the street for the fishing derby. Last year the food wasnt good, this past weekend we didnt want to break tradition so we gave it another shot. Food was disgusting, the beef teriyaki was grey and had no taste. The ceiling was falling in and had plastic bins catching the leaks in the ceiling. The waiter was complaining how many people there was when the dining room was actually empty. The waiter didnt know what Jack Daniels was and we got swamp water for vodka. The crabrangoons were still very good but thats it. We wont be back next year.
Awful! scallops undercooked and seafood delight was tasteless
Best service I’ve ever had today. I wish I caught our waiters name July 18, 2018- we came in at 5:30ish. He was sweet, and quick with everything. I hope he’s valued there bc he was just wonderful. I don’t typically write reviews but this waiter deserves a positive review for his hard work. Bonus- the food was great and the restaurant is super clean. Definitely give this place a go. :))
Great bartender fun kareoke
Some things were delicious, but some were bland. The worst parth tho were 3 males in dirty wife beaters walking around, you could tell atleast 2 of them were employees because they were carrying around rags. But they just made the experience uncomfortable and sketchy. They kept going past us and going out back and than a few minutes later tjey would go out side, this happened over and over again. It was just very unprofessional and uncomfortable...
Ordered their dish called Marco Polo. It was discribed on the menu as Juicy beef, fresh jumbo shrimp, cooked with lobster served on top of lo mein noodles. The shrimp (all three of them) werent even the size of a quarter. Most of the beef was like ground hamburger. Could not find anything that was lobster related.Would never order that again it. With tip and delivery I spent about $30 dollars.
Loved it
The food was very good. An the people were cool the drinks was off the hook strong i loved them
Best Crab Rangoon ever
Didnt like how much of whatever oil they use, i could taste in the fried rice. disapointed in everything else i got as well
Ordered food from here months ago and it gave me food poisoning. Decided to give it a second chance last night and my girlfriend ended up vomiting for over 8 hours. They refused to give refunds on both occasions.
Tea is terrible dont drink the water its straight up gross, the only thing that is really good are the crabrengoons
They say the best crab rangoons and they are !
Fun place, great service and food
Ordered a dinner dish., got two pieces of beef. Lousy service.... yeah Id go elsewhere
Run down. Food is nothing like it used to be.
Fantastic Boston style chi food in small town area. great hot and sour soup and Beef and Broc.
Sushi was good and crab ragoons but not much else service was not good
Nothing outstanding. Very average
The food was awful the service was really bad we had to ask for the rice and the rice looked like it had been sitting for 3 days
My favorite crab rangoon
Good food, fun times in the Baha Beach club on Friday and Saturday nights with DJ Dorian Jay pumping out the latest Kareoke jams and dance music. Fantastic Bartenders provide a really fun atmosphere. If youre looking for fun in a Friday or Saturday night come on down and Join the good times.
I have been going to China Bistro since it was Oriental Gardens I went about six months ago and got dried greasy fried rice and undercooked chicken fingers / thought it was a fluke ! Went today ( not a fluke ) the rice was dry as heck with tons of pure grease on it and the chicken fingers were ( gummy ) the only way I can explain them ! Will not be returning
Quiet, good food, friendly staff.
Green tea from a tea bag served in a huge mug. Friendly host told me that there wasnt much to offer from the sushi bar because they hadnt switched to summer mode. Ok, let it go. But then my host started preparing the sushi order instead of a sushi chef, which they apparently dont have (unless its after July 4?). The sushi was presented nicely but was of pretty low quality.
Great food, fast delivery, the crab rangoon is ridiculously good, and the staff is efficient and enjoyable.
Was not my best Chinese food dining experience. We had to order and pay for a side of rice because it didnt come with the meal. The meal portions were small (flavor was fine). Staff could barely understand my English. Iced tea was $2.50 and they never offered to refill our drinks. Cost of the meal was higher than it should be for what we got out of it. I will not be a return customer even if they offered to pay the bill for me. Good luck China Bistro.
This place is not very good. Fried rice was a very strange color and didnt taste very good. General gaus chicken was in a thick sticky sauce. It was not spicy at all. The crab Rangoon and chicken wings were ok.
Food fair bar good atmosphere
Great food and service.
Very good Chinese fair. Fresh, hot and delicious
Probably the best Chinese place in Laconia. The food is a bit pricier than their competition, and Ive certainly had better, but its convenient and consistent in quality and taste.
Best crabragoon ever!!
The best Chinese food, the nicest owners !!!
Good food
A bunch of disgusting hicks making an attempt to party. The restaurant is beautiful, however the food is overpriced and not that good at all.
Small portions, high priced meals that do not come w rice, had to buy rice seperate making the average tasting meal overpriced. Hard to believe this food was #23 in the country in 2010. I ve read other reviews, one said the best chinese in laconia, definately not. I would suggest china garden just outside of laconia in belmont. High quality fresh food, clean restaurant, well run always consistent chinese food, plenty of food for your money. Prices are on the high side but well worth the money w the portions and quality of the food. I ve eaten at every chinese restaraunt in the area and china garden is def the best.
Good food, high prices and weird policies. I stopped in and got some food to go after reading good reviews about the place. In the lobby they have a lot of awards on the walls, but they all seem to be years old. I ordered a Sushi Roll, Sesame Beef, and Crab Rangoon. The Sushi roll was good, rice was seasoned properly and the roll was built well. The Sesame Beef could have come from any chinese takeout I have ever been to....nothing wrong, just special either. The one thing I read about this place repeatedly was that they have the best rangoon around. I think that again they could have come from any chinese takeout place on the planet, nothing special. The biggest problem I had was their prices and policies. What would have cost me $15 or $20 anywhere else was almost $40 here. To beat that, as the clerk brought me my food, she informed me that none of their dinner items come with rice, would I like some? When I said yes, she informed me that she would have to charge me for it. If you are vastly overcharging for your food ahead of time, wanting who knows what for a nickles worth of white rice sounds like a really good way to loose a customer for life to me.
Some of the best sushi
Good food, high prices, poor customer service.
Love the pork fried rice!
Came in with my family for dinner, sat down at the table and opened my menu and there were ants crawling all around it and on our table. We promptly left. I will NEVER step foot in that facility again. Beyond disgusting!!
Food was below average. Building, parking lot, dining room falling apart! The Sheetrock in the ceiling of the dining room was literally falling in pieces. The patio outside looks like it has not been painted in 10 years and is also falling apart. Overall we wont be going back for the food or the atmosphere.
This place is a bit shabby. Seems to be going downhill. Basic chinese pu pu platter stuff is pretty decent, but other than that I think ill be going elsewhere in the future.
