Okay so this park is BEAUTIFUL if your just wanting to walk or ride a bike. It has everything you want for that. But if your wanting to skate there it’s ROUGH! That paved trail is full of rocks from the gravel they put to the side of it, the pavement itself is very uneven and rough, and lots of downhill spots with people. Just fair warning I wouldn’t even bring my four year olds bike there until she’s off training wheels! It does have great playgrounds, basketball courts, beautiful picnic areas, everything for walking

Great park for many different reasons!! They got hoops, toys, bbq areas with seating, trails, baseball field and huge grassy areas to set up games or have a picnic. Paved trails for wheelchairs and bathrooms!! Just overall great place!!

The bathrooms are super comfortable. I got a great nights sleep, the floors are super comfortable. 10/10 would repeat.

I loved coming here as a kid 30 years ago and was wonderfully surprised when I brought my kids here now. It is nicely done with mower playground equipment and the bathrooms are well kept. The walking trail around are kept up and easy for anyone to navigate.

Its a GREAT park! It has a lot of amenities, its shaded for the summer time and we LOVE looking for and hiding painted rocks.

Wonderwood Park has some beautiful walking trails through the trees, which is nice and shady when its hot out. They have sports fields, a playground, tennis and basketball courts and nice picnic areas.

Adorable little park. Huge playground for the kids. Bathrooms are close to the park. You can also take a little walk through the woods. Theres picnic tables under cover to enjoy a snack at. Beautiful!

I love this park. Its huge and has 2 park sections. One section has smaller big toys and has a little mini 1 hoop basketball area. I love going to this part, its more secluded. The other section has much bigger big toys. I like the new stuff they put in it. Love the musical toys, its so creative. They have lots of trails that you can walk through that all connect to each section. They also have a paved trail that connects the two park sections to each other. They have a tennis court. They have a full on basketball court at the bigger section. They have picnic table areas for eating. They have a covered area for eating like if you want to have a big group there. This is one of my favorite parks and always holds wonderful memories for me.

Absolutely love walking in this park. Its a great place to bring family. Lots of toys for th kids to play on and run around. There are lots of picnic tables and you can play basketball, tennis, and baseball there. It is also a great place to play Pokémon go. Also a good place to sit in the shade on a sunny day

Great place. Not too many people and very relaxing. The park has bbq and bathrooms as well.

When wandering the wooded trails you would never know you are in a city. Multiple playground areas including an all abilities one.

Everything there is for you and your family to enjoy a short outing or all day event. Restrooms are daily maintained although with school out and all (Ill let you think about that.)

This is a fun park. We went in the morning and the shade was perfect. I enjoyed how the play structure was nestled among trees. Basketball courts, ball fields, and lots more. Great walking trails as well.

Beautiful natural park with nice, mostly paved, forested trails. Picnic areas, ball fields, restrooms. A very pleasant park to walk around and relax. It’s nice to see a natural forest area in the middle of town. Good parking with several different entrances.

I ADORE this gorgeous park. Never too many other ppl here and i always feel closer to my Higher Power walking amid the huge wonderful trees on the trails here. Plus, periodically, the awesome folks from the Lacey Rocks hide the neatest painted rocks all over here and its like an unexpected easter egg hunt... SO FUN!!

There must be two playgrounds here because the one maps brought us to is a very small basic one (not the big one in the photos). Very quiet and peaceful for my baby and I however. Has a bathroom, picnic tables, basketball hoop, grassy area, water fountain.

Its a nice park with plenty of trees. Only downside is that its kinda hard to play Pokemon Go cause it kills all the connections to the game

This park is amazingly beautiful. However I am unsure if the city or park care takers is aware that there is evidence of wood borers in the park. I collected this piece of evidence when I was there last.

Really nice peaceful park. Great for a walk with the kids. Most folks are friendly but like all parks you should watch out for not so nice people. Two playgrounds. The smaller playground on the north side of the park does have swings. It is a great place for kids to explore because there is lots to see and it is easly accessible.

Awesome trails and plenty of picnic areas. The toys are a bit outdated and some broken but in all, its a beautifully maintained park with different playground areas, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, etc! We love it.

Nice little park

Beautiful park with paths that run through woodlands, as well as open fields for dogs or children to run. It also has clean bathrooms in multiple areas of the park, baseball fields, and a lovely playground. The playground has a larger area for older children, and a smaller section for younger ones. Cant recommend it enough. We had a blast.

Great park, in the city. Paths are mostly paved, some wild. The attraction for me is the quiet, the birds, even saw an owl on one of my walks, there are lots of squirrels as well. It is a great place for families as well with a basket ball court, two baseball diamonds, four tennis courts, picnic areas and a nice playground. The City of Lacey does a nice job maintaining all facilities including restrooms. Threw parking lots are available as well.

One of my favorite parks of all time!!! 39 acres of wonder. Hidden trails take you into the woods, great play areas and picnic areas. A real jem for Lacey. A must see!!!

Beautiful park! Several acres of trails, soccer field, basketball court, nice playground, picnic tables, covered areas and a few swings. Had a great time, all its missing is a water feature of some kind- like a sprinkler or something for kids to play in when its hot. Love how its within walking distance from my house, but when you get there its like youve arrived in the deep woods.

The new playground is a nice improvement from what they used to have. Ive been coming here for 21 years now and always enjoy a stroll through the wooded area or watching my kids play at the park.

Beautiful little park with a small walking loop, two nice softball/baseball fields, and updated playground. Very pretty here in November.

Pretty park, lovely trails.....but ALWAYS people with dogs OFFLEASH. The city could do a much better job of controlling this, but have never seen a single patrol there. I have been there 4 times in the past 5 days and only once was there NOT a dog being exercised in the large open grassy yard. All it takes is the one time that dog doesnt listen to you.

Dog friendly on leash paths. Paths are both dirt and asphalt. Beautifully maintained fields and kids playground. Quiet and beautiful in a neighborhood setting.

Its an ok park

A large wooded park, a couple of really good shelters for parties. Full size basketball court and nice restrooms and tennis. Big fields. Place for barbecue. Been going there for years

Th playground has a newand colorful playset that the kids loved. We also hiked the paths in the woods.

Love the open grassy stretches. Solid, colorful playground, but no swings. Handicap accessible restrooms. Wooded surroundings.

This out of the way park had very few people, two baseball fields and new playground equipment. There are walking paths go through the woods. Great for dogs! Would recommend!

I great place to go for a stroll. Me and my family liked to go down all the smaller dirt paths. It was very relaxing.

Love this park. Its well kept and has a variety of activity to fit everyone in the family, no matter the age. Bathroom is clean. Has a few picnic areas, some more private than others. The walking trail is beautiful.

Nice basic and small park. Pleasant path around. A few places for barbeque parties.

The new playground equipment is fantastic and has made this park a favorite for our family. So fun!

A really nice park with beautiful trails that wind among big maples and cedars. Very clean and well kept. Play area for tots, ball fields, tennis courts and basketball hoops. All hidden in a fully developed neighborhood.

My family enjoys going to this park, great place to take a walk with the family, play games, and play on the playground. Beautiful wooded area with shady areas to have a picnic.

We moved down south from here 6 years ago we have been back but not to parks like we used to when we lived here. So wonderwood I would like to say thank you for being free to the public and keeping that park as beautiful as I remember

Great open area for kids to run around. Frisbee would be great here. There are short walking trails. You can be sure to see folks and their dogs walking the trails. I usually take my son to practice baseball. There are two well kept baseball fields. Bathroom facility is clean. Doggie poop bags available. Not too crowded the times Ive been there.

Its a beautiful park with old cedars, large ball field, tennis courts, large playground and clean accessible bathrooms.

One of the oldest parks if not the oldest in Lacey and easily its best. Tons of trails to walk through the woods with your kids and if you look hard enough youll find a rock Temple where locals decorate rocks for children to find and post on social media. Two awesome playgrounds, big open grassy areas and two covered party outbuildings as well. Best Park in Lacey, and it isnt close.

Beautiful park set in the woods with trails winding in and out. Basket court, tennis, baseball fields, bbq pits, restrooms, and covered pavilions. The park is well taken care of and they are constantly making improvements.

The overall layout and space is wonderfully lined with trees, providing lots of shade and natural blissfulness for one to get reconnected with.., cheers

Paved walking trail loops around this relatively quiet 38 acre park, with well-maintained mulched trails throughout the woods. Childrens playset, baseball fields, tennis courts, and covered eating areas, along with plenty of grass space. Single-occupang bathroom facilities are on site, with running cold water. No soap or drying apparatus though. Wildlife includes a multitude of songbirds, birds of prey, chipmunks, squirrels, deer, and bats. Keep in mind that there are several entrances and parking lots to this park and they do not connect within the park.

Excellent little park with lots of space and 3 different parking lots. They recently took out a lot of the picnic tables and seating throughout.

Two baseball fields used by local teams of kids when I was there. Short 10 minute trail through tall for and pine forest. Playground and picnic tables Restrooms only at one entrance. No fee.

My favorite park EVER! Paved pathways through the tall trees.. Amazing in the rain or sunshine! Also has toys for kids & a nice bathroom.
