Its a really nice park on a hill. you get to see an amazing view of the CA city and the houses ( painted ladies) which are very uniquely decorated.. reminded me of full house. =] visit the secret shoe garden! saw lots of people walking their dog.

I was waiting for my room to be ready at the Extended Stay America so I googled nearest park & it led me here however it took me to the small entrance where you park in the residential street, not knowing the parking rules of La Mirada I opted to find the main entrance...as many have stated its pretty secluded I went on a Saturday & it was so peaceful me & my small dog enjoyed it very much...there is a section under some trees that you may need to watch out for falling trash (leaves & such) I was conked on the side of the head by a good size leaf boy they pick up speed coming down

Plenty of trees for shade. Lush grass. Great playground. Some picnic tables available and a bbq area across the way from the playground. There are basketball courts also. Parking is odd and sorta limited. Maybe 25 spaces. No shade for actual playground equipment but plenty around it.

A 10 acre park that has sports a gazebo and historic building. Basketball court, tennis court, horseshoe pit and childrens playground.There is an old home, what looks like a servants quarters and a Neff barn. The barn is able to be rented, plus has a lot of historical memorabilia. Historic Neff Estate is open for tours on the third Saturday of every month from 2-4 pm. The tours are provided by the La Mirada Historical Preservation Advisory Council. All tours are free, however donations to aid the restoration efforts are welcome.

First time at Neff park and I really enjoyed my time there with my daughter. It has 3 historical buildings from the 1800s located here which really gives you a awesome feeling! Anyways you guys should check it out sometime.

Excellent place to go with kids. There are some nineteen-century historical facilities from an old farm. There are also beautiful trees and tables for a picnic. The playgrounds for kids are new and safe. Good for enjoying with family!

This a very clean and nice park. The Victorian style houses are very beautiful too. Everhough is a small park its a very nice spot for pictures.

I love Neff Park its generally quiet and really fun for my daughter kept clean and dog-friendly. At times there can be a bit of a homeless population but Ive never had any problems or felt uncomfortable. My wife and I enjoy going here and the playground is fantastic for kids I have a two year old but she loves to play on everything they do have two different playgrounds for age appropriate stuff but my daughter likes to go on everything regardless of the age range. its a fun and quiet place during the week and only occasionally noisy on the weekends when there are big parties happening.

I married my best friend here, were we used to have picnics.

Gorgeous open space with lovely huge trees and a romantic nostalgic feeling given by the historic houses. A gem of La Mirada history. Also, very well maintained. A nice little playground for kids and lots of space for dogs or sports.

Great place to take your kids

Neff park is in the heart of La Mirda hitten in the middle of the community you will never know its their. Their have lot of parking amd women and men bathrooms. Their have three 1800 hundreds Victorian buildings which is museums the buildings are not kept up The building need to be painted and have tons of cobwebs. The park has a gazebo. I wouldnt want to take wedding pictures that this park. Its in a nice neighborhood but the building are not kept up. There play ground is very nice with picnic tables with lots of shady tree. Its next to a school.

Very clean, lush, green, quiet, shady little park. Although it is SMALL, there is ample parking and a few beautiful historic houses on the property. I will say, the amount of red ants infesting the trees is EXTREMELY annoying, but I understand theres not kuchen that can be done about them, thats their home. I would just recommend puling the picnic tables farther away from the trees where the ants seem to be the most prevalent. Because they BITE!! A LOT!! Pack a bug bite spray or cream when you visit this park.

If you want to be in a park that most of the time has not many people. This is the place.!

Very well kept grounds & restrooms. Very spacious grounds w/plenty of picnic tables. The Neff mansion, barn & other Old house on the grounds make for excellent background for photos.

A very hushed private park thats secluded away from the busy traffic of the city. They also have historical homes and a barnyard thats pleasant to see. ok

It was nice.. my niece got proposed to here, there was a kids party next to us . they were so sweet, they stopped the music, were very quiet when he proposed and when she said yes they all yelled and clapped, it was pretty great...

Great park hidden in a neighborhood. Really good playground for the kids and lots of grass to play catch or kick the ball around. Really popular for parties.

It was just hot inside not enough circulating air and/or airconditioning. cant look outside to the park areas, otherwise we seemed to have enough space for the event . When people walked outside they were locked out scrambling to get back in...

Perfect place for the kids. Just go out there if you have elementary school kids.

Oh it was hot and there were bugs, but I looked really closely at the bugs and they were reenacting A bugs Life, it wasnt a very good production, their flik had a strong european accent and kept referring to hopper as his leggy lover and the bug that played heimlich kept eating the rest of the cast but they tried their best and even got Julia Louis-Dreyfus to return to her role as Princess ada.

I take my grandson to soccer Clinic that is held at Neff Park. What a little gem this park is! Its nestled in a little neighborhood and its a rather large part with not a whole lot of parking. The park itself is absolutely beautiful! I kind of hate to say too much good about it because I dont want it to get over run and crowded! But the playground is more than any child could hope for. And as a grandmother I appreciate all the shade trees and the ample park benches and tables. Theres a nice breeze that blows through the Park!

Its a clean to the Courtesy Capital standards mid sized park with a few very well kept historical buildings and very quiet during normal weekdays,now some people need to pickup after their four legged friends as it makes those who do look bad..

A great park with a basketball court / tennis court. The play area is updated but is surrounded by sand. Restrooms are well maintained. Plenty of parking is available. Its also a dog friendly park. I recommend attending most events held here, especially Halloween! Safe, quite and fun!

Used to be a great park to relax at. But for the last three months or so, you have group of work mates. You can tell there work mates, they all have the same shirts, with there company name on it. They gather around lunch time near, the tennis courts smoking pot,. Nothing wrong with smoking pot, but there is a time and place to do it. These guys are doing it when there is summer camp going on at the park and kids are all around. I know if I had most of my work force stoned. I would be worried about safety.Then you have the homeless people camping out. When the park closes they hide in the bushes.

Calm small but pretty place, good for a quick snooze or to go for a walk while the little o es play.

Cool little park. It has very beautiful grounds with a nice jungle gym. It has an older style house in the park which is beautiful and gives La Mirada some cultural significance. The giant trees provide some great shade for picnics.Do not come here after dark or you will find homeless people and drug dealers arguing with each other.
