Sedgwick Park

Family oriented and well organized during the pandemic. They took every precaution necessary and followed all CDC guidelines, and we still had a blast at the Trunk or Treat.

Perfect park for children and adults also for dog walkers

Great place for kids and parents. Can have a family picnic because they have a few picnic tables and outhouse.

Cool park. Parking is of a side street. It you dont know its there. Hard to find.

We watched our Neighbors son play baseball at Sedgwick Park. It Was nice.

If you play beach volleyball it burns your feet, it would be nice if there was a tree over the sand

Nice quiet safe park

I was there to see a family member play baseball. I havent been there in years its still nice place to go hangout.

Beautiful family fun park/playground

A very good facility with adequate parking and a variety of sports and exercise opportunities. However, a nearby railroad track can delay traffic on both streets which access the park. Dont worry, the trains usually last for only a few minutes.

The benches at the park are excellent for stargazing.theres also a tennis court. (the only other local tennis courts i know of are Robinhood park out near the lagrange park post office, and another one nearby the countryclub near Brainard ave)family sports tend to unsettle me & it is like a mini-ehlert park. theres not enough shade in the southern half of the park, but the plant life is lovely where it does exist. you can see into peoples backyards on the west side of the park via largely unpaved trails/tracks (which is annoying when it rains).since the park is bordered by 2 nearby major roads (eberly/east avenue & 47th) its a good place to meet up with people for like picnics or if you want to be picked up/dropped off & dont like 7-11.
