Nice place to walk the dog and let the kids run around.
Outdoor racquetball, what else could anyone need in this world? Great and friendly crowd daily at the courts! Safe and family friendly environment.
Great small park gd for dogs has a racket ballCourt also nice atomsphere
Definitely recommend this park for a quick stop with the kids. Theres plenty of open field surrounding the park, so bring your jackets as it does get windy. Theres train tracks not too far that makes it another great place for the kids. The park has covered shelter with about 6 picnic tables, a fully functioning bathroom (mens/womens) thats always clean but not open until Memorial Day.Theres 5 swings, 2 baby, 2 regular and 1 adaptive upright swing for kids with disabilities. Theres one ramp that enters the jungle gym and extra wide alleys in the jungle gym. But, theres steps eventually so a child with a disability would have to turn back around pretty quickly. Theres a variety of slides, climbing rocks, bouldering hand holds, a nearby skate park with mini half pipe and some ledges too.**Theres a port-a-potty by the baseball cages thats always available.
Small skate park box does not have enough run up to do a decent grind but the half pipe is very nice
Great playset, tons of open space, and an enclosed water park. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, and sizeable shelter for shaded sitting and eating.
Splash pad is now gone :( Park is still nice and clean, but splash pad is gone
Great 3 wall handball courts.
Its pretty cool
Nice park.
For as fancy as it looks the skatepark is borderline unskateable. They must have not let any skateboarders in on the design process, or if they did they didn’t ask enough.Mini ramp looks ok but don’t expect to slide on your trucks, they somehow made the coping out of something that doesn’t slide. Same with all of the features. Your board will slide but your trucks will not.
Very peaceful place.
Very wonderful park, a great playground and walking path. My only gripe is the metal picnic tables could use some minor maintenance around them. That being said, theres a lot of space here, and its right in downtown La Grange. Theres quite a few slides, climbing areas, interactive bits, and even a kiddie table. There are swings as well, in various sizes. Theyre very sturdy! The walking path is clean and surrounds a large open grassy field. Along the path is several exercise machines free for the public to use. Theres soccer goals set up, a baseball field, and a skate park! Lots to do, seating is plenty if you want to chill otherwise.Fun bonus for Pokemon Go players: Theres a pokestop and gym here. Things dont seem to move through the gym fast, either.Overall, a very wonderful park very close to Downtown La Grange. Wide open area, clean, well maintained park. Worth a visit to enjoy what Gordon Park has to offer.
Not crowded and good playset for all ages of children. Our little one loves it.
We really thought this place was cool. Outdoor racquetball courts, walking path, splash-pad, outdoor playground, workout stations, and more! Other than a more frequent mowing schedule, this place is top-notch!
Love the splash pad. Children had a great afternoon. Good picnic benches, flushable toilets, very clean park.
Great splash pad and right next door is the park. So when the kids have had enough water time they can tire themselves out even more at the park. Love that the ground has the soft rubber padding so when the kids fall they dont hurt themselves too bad.
Its really nice, I have my soccer practices and games there. Its really fun.
Had a great time with the family. Its a great place to go.
Great place to let the little ones run around. Splash pad is nice.
Wow having so much fun with my hubby that time perfect for picnic also nice park and perfect event.
Awesome splash pad, great playground, nice covered picnic area thats perfect for parties and reunions.
This park is so nice and clean. Definitely, a place to take your little ones.
Easy parking, room for many activities and well kept. Cant wait for splash park to open!
I know a lot of people dont approve of drug deals at parks, but the deals that go down at Gordon Park are very discreet and respectful to the park patrons. Besides, its a fun place to just hang out once youve bought and taken your drugs!
Our 2 year old loves both the playground and the splash pad.
My seven year old, loves running around here, with his friends, and playing in the sprinklers
Great place to bring your kids
Very nice place to have a picnic and let the kids play!
Nice park and perfect event here. The village here really takes care of what they do and this party is no different. They have good bands for adults and cold beer too.
Love the splashing water there.. I wish we could have one in our village..
Great place to get kids out of the house! And its free!
Nice water park and playground. Soccer fields ok
Good area for kids to play with water!
Beautiful activity car show and all
Great Handball with a splash park for the kids
Gordon park has an awesome splash pad for kids and a covered pavilion area. There is also a circular path which people run and walk on. Soccer and baseball fields are also available.
Great place to take the kids!!! Nice waterpark!!
Gordon Park is always a blast to take youre family during the summer, from relaxing and have a picnic to splashing and having a good time in the splash park. I recommend it for anyone!
The music was awesome, food was awesome tooo
In addition to the playground, they have a splash pad and quarterpipes.
Skate park area is pretty much unskateable. Despite signs saying Not a pedestrian walkway, Skate park only, parents allow their young kids to climb and sit on the features while they look at their phones.
I go there all the time it’s a nice place to play and hangout with your friends
Great
Great family park with playground, splash pad, skate park, softball fields and walking path.
Excellent clean park
Great place for the little ones to make friends and cool off in a hot day
Softball, LaGrange Fest, park, etc.. this park is the center of all major events in LaGrange!
Nice park but there is no shade on the actual play lot. Equipment gets too hot for kids.
Has lots of kids swings and water park
Well renovated and kept. Lots of family activities always going on in the park.
Just no. They put gravel next to the half pipe. Who does that? Their will be kids running on the skate park and you cant skate then. Some times when the splash pad is open kids will get wet and run all over the skate park. Then u cant skate. The skate park is so ooo smal. Their is only 1 rail 1 half pipe 1 wall ride and one box to do tricks off. All in all this skate PARK is bad.
Anything you desire and Recreation.
*beware* This skate park is full of problems. Nestled inconveniently next to a play ground and water park, this skate dot skate park is the perfect avenue for children and skaters to collide and get hurt. I have seen children and skaters collide on multiple occasions. The designers of Gordon Park decided to make a skate park the only convenient path from the parking lot to adjacent child water spay area and playground. While there are small signs stating that the skatepark is NOT a pathway, it is largely ignored. This skate park is also littered with small rocks that get kicked onto skating surfaces, a dangerous low lying fence inches from skate features and an insufficient skate able space for the large amount of athletes that choose to skate the park. I would hope that city officials wake up and enclose the skate park to pedestrians as well as enlarge the skate park to give skaters the space they deserve.
Great open field to fly my drones
God. Where to even begin. The idiots that made this skatepark werent, arent, and never will be skaters. Therefore, they know nothing about skateparks. Gravel surrounding the half pipe; if you can even call it a half pipe. The rail is essentially unskatable (really curved, and too high for everyone but the most accomplished skater), the boxes are weirdly set up so theyre in the way of everything. The wallride is really steep, the coping on it and the boxes is really weird and completely unskatable. During the summer, all the kids come from the splash pad to run up and down the obstacles, making the ramps wet; and you get snaked all the time. The parents see no problem with this, and they just yell at you for trying to skate it. The worst thing is the material they made it out of. Its like made of clay! To add insult to injury, the makers claim that all the local skaters love it, which is just flat out wrong. And, its hella small. Seriously, I wouldnt even call this a skatepark.
A large park right near two busy rail lines. Not far from downtown La Grange.
It has a Great park and has a water park for the summer
My son Eddie loved the sprinklers :)
Nice park and a splash pad for the kids.
Endless summer fest is the best.
Endless summer fest was nice but I noticed the skate park was rather small and seemed to be built into a walkway which is a recipe for disaster.
My son adore this park.
Its a hidden park with a clean playground and splash pad. There is also a field for running.
