Great park for dogs. The neighborhood kids swim in the pond during the summer, but there are a lot fowl and canines that love to bathe in it too, so... user discression advised. Nice beach that dogs and kids like to dig in. There are 2 small covered pavilions and a portable latrine.

Lovely dog park with 2 gated areas, ome small one large, benches, poop bags stations, beautiful grass and clean.It will be fantastic to have more shaded areas but overall the area es great and doggies can a have a fabulous time there.

Great place to take the dogs them to safely run, part, and socialize. It was suggested in the reviews that the dog park has ruined it and that theyve only seen a couple of people use it. Im not sure how it is ruined, unless you are just against dog parks in general. It is being kept up nicely, I havent heard of any problems created by the people or dogs using it, and it will gain in usage/popularity as me people become aware of its existence and location. MY opinion is that is was wasted PRIOR to the installation of the dog park area as it was just open grass that I never saw anyone utilizing.... The suggestion that they should have left it because there are keen fields behind the park that are just a good is not a responsible one. Random open fields are not an option for responsible owners. They are not marked for public access and, depending on who owns the land, it would be either in violation of the leash law (if public land) or trespassing laws (if private land) to turn dogs loose to play there. The brush would also make it too difficult for owners to reliably locate and clean up waste in addition to significantly increasing the risk of ticks and other threats. Cheat grass can be a danger, dogs with long coats get the dried vegetation snarled in their fur, and more. Dog owners should also be responsible and proactive to keep this area nice and safe. BASICS: Pick up after yourself and your dog, keep sick and unvaccinated animals away, only bring a dog that is friendly and can be controlled while of leash, and keep up to date on immunizations: Rabies and Distemper for sure, but Bordatella (aka Kennel Cough) is also recommended.

Its quiet, Ive been there probably more than 30 times and have never seen more than 5/6 people at a time. Everybodys nice and respectful of other peoples animals!

Its alright. I mean, you cant get much worse or better for a dog park in Kuna.. surprised they even have one. Porta potty is kept semi clean. Its a good place to drop off the kids

Nice little grassed dog park off the beaten path. Itll feel like youve gone the wrong way, but then suddenly youre there, the dog park to the left and a pond to the right.Be careful where you go straight but the road goes right as the visibility around the corner is terrible and speeding driver seem to appear out of nowhere. Porta-john restroom is better than needing to leave.There is a Facebook page for the Kuna Dog Park where locals will post when theyre coming, allowing for doggie play dates.

Its a fun place for children and families. That is, until dog owners, which let their aggressive german shepherds close down half the beach. Weve got a friendly pit and olde English, but we dont dominate the entire park. Its an awesome spot until bad dog owners decide to give their dogs cart blanche of entire park.

First visit, it was cute but there were large rocks in the water my kidos kept running into and scratching themselves and there was no shade. Water was freezing but the kids had a blast.

Great park with a lot of great people who bring their dogs. Spacious, fenced in, has a large area for big dogs (or little dogs who think they are big ) and then a smaller fenced area for smaller ones. Well maintained, the city is quick to repair any vandalism. Could use a bathroom. Overall a great park.

Great place to take the dog for some good old fun only dogs can have. Very clean, Gates/fence are solid. From what Ive seen no fountain/water access so bring fluid! There is a pond area but I dont let my dog drink out of it.

Very disappointing... Just grass. Nothing for Dogs to do. There were no: water fountains, (dogs or human) obstacles, walking paths wading pools. There was no shade or benches to sit and get out of the sun...

I feel it has been ruined since turning it into a dog park. I drive by it frequently and have only seen dogs in it twice. There is pleanty of room for dogs to run in the vacant fields right behind the park. Money not well spent. Needs more sand for the beach but it still is a nice place for a swim.

My family went here for a spring picnic. Its a small park with just a couple of ramadas, a grassy area, and an irrigation pond. The ramadas were clean and in good condition. The grass was well maintained but there were frequent piles of dog waste. The irrigation pond was low and there were many areas where the sand around the pond had thinned to show the plastic underneath. 3 stars because our experience was good, overall, but the place needs some work.

Okay park to let your dog I teract with other dogs. Wish they would add any sort of play obstacles or maybe fountains for the dogs.

Nice little dog park in Kuna, ID. 2 fenced areas for small and large dogs. A covered sitting area and even a irrigation pond you could let your dogs swim in if you felt so inclined.
