A bit of a let down. Unless there is an event, you can not go inside the Worlds Fair Globe. Plus, the fountains around the stage have been drained. Doesnt make for the best scenery. Other than that, there is plenty of free parking, and clean public restroom. Beautiful walkways and lawns to spend time with your friends and family. There is even a playground area for the little ones.

One of the best parks Ive been to. It has a beautiful clean family friendly environment. The playground is nice and the splash water area is alot of fun. Would recommend some swim wear or shorts on hot days. There are many different events held in the park as well. The (free) art museum is in walking distance as well as the sunsphere you can go up into to see the park below you. The restrooms were clean and stocked. Nice walking areas also.

I absolutely LOVE this spot!!! One of the best ideas Knoxville ever had was to put the fountains and playground downtown. This is a great spot to bring your family for a family friendly experience. And did I mention the best part of all, ITS FREE!!! Also, another very fun thing to do is to go in the sunsphere. Happy times, happy day!!!!

My kids love this park/ playground. The equipment is in good condition and its an open area. I would take a friend or a cousin with you or go in a group with other kids they know because they get lonely if they dont have anyone to play with or siblings. Keep an eye on them at all times because there are people going by from every angle in a car or walking. Take water and a snack as well if you plan to stay long. I also let the kids play in the open field beside the playground where you can have a picnic or just hang out.

The area the fundraiser was in was well kept, easily accessible, and had clean restrooms nearby. Parking was a little tricky because of the event but I was still able to find a free spot to park.

I love Knoxville Tennessee. The city is big enough to impress, with shopping and food galore, yet small enough to feel safe and somewhat quaint. We spent most of the time on foot, taking in the local offerings. You must check out the sphere in the center of downtown. There is an elevator and it is air conditioned, a saving Grace in Tennessee in the summer.

There is never a full moment at Worlds Fair Park! From the amazing Sunsphere, to the water fountain and gorgeous landscape. You cant go wrong visiting this gorgeous park. Everyone is so friendly and you feel so safe. Free parking, free to visit the Sunsphere, & free to cool off in the HUGE water fountain/oversized splash pad. I take my toddler daughter a few times a week to play in the water and enjoy our beautiful hidden park. Its always a big hit. The art museum is also right there. :)Pokemon Trainer?? Youre in luck! Worlds Fair Park is a hot spot for rare Pokemon and Pokemon nests. Jynx, Magicarp, Magmar, Psyduck, Eevee, Nidoran, Gyarados, Polliwag, Clefairy, Jifflypuff, etc. There are around 11 Pokestops in the park and also a gym. A large portion of the day, you will find almost half of the Pokestops have continuous Lures going. All in all, its an amazing place to go as a family or all by yourself. Youre guaranteed to have a blast all year round.

The highlight of the park is going to the top of the Sunsphere, so make sure to come at a time when its open. The playground and splashpad/fountain areas are great for kids. There is a large bathroom facility in the middle of the park. There are now bicycles available to rent for about a dollar to ride around the park and around downtown. The park has a bike path and sidewalk that provide quick access to the river walk. Also, the parking lot usually has plenty if spaces except during major events.

Very busy ... but still doable with young children. Older kids dont need to be sitting on the splash pad jets aiming the water at unsuspecting people. One such older (Im talking 12-14) got this one poor little boy right in the face. Scared him pretty badly. Im sure the force of the water hurt his face.
