My boyfriend wanted to setup a trip for Saturday 7/4/20 and we called Thursday to check availability. Yes we know, it was short notice. We got no answer and then a lady called back on Thursday asking what we needed and we had told her we wanted to see if they had availability for Saturday (we really weren’t expecting them to and was prepared for that answer, but thought to ask just in case). She said she didn’t have the schedule and that she or someone else would call first thing in the morning(9am on Friday). So we waited for awhile on Friday and just decided to call in case they forgot or something and no answer. No call back this time. I think we called a total of 3-4 times with no answer. This is during business hours. I think we eventually got a call back later in the day that was only 2 rings and didn’t pick it up in time and no voicemail was left. I wouldn’t of minded if they didn’t have availability because of the short notice. It was just annoying that they False promised a phone call and never answer the phones. I was looking forward to this and maybe we’ll try again one day but just super disappointed.

Hiked sky lakes in the 7th grad with my dad and brothers, it was a beautiful amazing trip and Id recommend hiking it in the summer, this year Im gonna hike it in December where its more of a challenge

Depending on the trailhead you start at, the lakes can be pretty busy with day hikers. However, it is a big place and you will find plenty of privacy. If you hike in the spring, or early summer months ... bring lots of bug spray. Most of the lakes do not have fish in them and have very muddy shore lines. So if you fish, check which ones have fish before carrying equipment in to a empty lake.
