Kirkwood Park

My dog loves this park. In a little spot if you and your dog have a good time. Go for a long or short walk on some of the trails. As a dog owner to my (Leilani) I can honestly tell you, that when I get to this Park, my tail is even wagging and I dont even have one.... Amazing Park check it out

Had birthday party here. Decided to have a seat on the picnic bench and then wood snapped. Hurt like hell later. Please be careful with the benches. They may not be strong anymore.

This park is always beautiful, well kept and peaceful. My family and I love to take walks here after visiting the farmers market. :)

Tennis, pickleball, plenty of open ground to play catch or walk with your kids or your dog. Very nice park with lots to do,they also have ice skating rink.

The layout is perfect, Walker Lake is enjoyable to walk around, my grandchildren love playing on the playgrounds, and the view in front of the pool looking over the park is lovely, its well maintained....

Very nice park. I got married in the outdoor amphitheater years ago. My husband used to play softball there. There is also a community center with an ice skating rink. The park is a good place for photos too.

Very nice park. A couple of playgrounds. Some fishing in the pond. Much grassy picnic area. A stage for concerts. Theres a pool here too that you can use if you are or are with a resident.

No fish biting in The Lakes

Great walking park with a amphitheater, tennis court, handball courts, large playground, and a little pond to walk around. Ample parking available also and gazebos for parties or picnics. If you have a young child make sure to walk the lake where you will find a storybook that you can read a page per stop as you go around.

Its well maintained and just beautiful. Two playgrounds for the different ages. Great place for outdoor parties too.

Wonderful park with tennis courts, baseball fields, very impressive playground with water feature, multiple unique and accommodating pavilions, impressisive amphitheater, beautiful lake and lots of room to walk around. Lots of open grassy areas lined with big, old trees which allows for casual yet magnificent hikes and walks. LOVE KIRKWOOD PARK!

Love going here to unwind after work, great walking path, nice place to have a picnic, peaceful and nice scenery.

Greentreen Festival - Craft Show, food tents, Music and more. Spent a few hours walking around during the event Sat. Enjoyed the environment.

Good Park to walk your dog. Nice paved trail around the lake. Playgrounds for the kids. Concession stand open during the summer.

This park is excellent. And has tons of space to be able to run around and have a picnic. It also has lots of benches that you can use. They have great playgrounds that are design for all ages and lots of other options. Of many of the local parks this one is definitely high on the list of choices and they did a great job making this park accessible to all. I highly recommended and also recommended there fireworks on the 4th of July. They will often have many different festivals and such throughout the year that take place in the park as well.

A pretty nice park

One of the best community parks in the region. The newly updated lake and walking paths are excellent. There is plenty of ducks and other wildlife. The parking is ample -and youll rarely find any issues.

Walker Lake is very peaceful.

Very pretty and fairly large. There are paths for walking/running. A gazebo and small stream. Lots of nature.

This is a great place for a quick walk, some tennis, fishing, or taking the kids to the playground. Theres also an indoor RecPlex/Community Center.

We had a Family reunion. Nice accommodations. Easy to find

Racist people who visit this park or live near think they own this park. My 2yr old was talked down upon by some kids and the parents just watched and ignored their children disrespectful behavior. The park itself without the people is beautiful but the energy is bad so I rather not take my kids somewhere where the parents teach ignorance and act as if theyre blind to it in public. Kids are taught by what they see and hear, so I blame the parents!

Very nice park. I have never been to a public park in qhich the bathrooms were clean. These bathrooms are always clean, which if course is a big plus when you are there all day on a field trip.

Beautiful landscaping in all seasons, with good walking paths. Our favorite path circles around Walker Lake (fishing is allowed.) Several playgrounds, baseball fields, tennis courts, picnic tables and public bathrooms. A very kid and dog friendly park.

Grew up around the area and absolutely love this park and the awesome events that they hold here

Hadnt been in years. Now that I have kids of my own, decided to take them here to waste some time. Glad I did. Its much less crowded and more peaceful than many city parks. It also has a perfect set of playgrounds for kids of all ages, as well as a water fountain for the Littles to cool off in.The permanent snowcone stand is just a bonus.

Kirkwood park is great place to hang out with family and friends. It has so much to offer. Today wasnt the best due to the rain but we still had fun and would really recommend it to anyone.

Kirkwood not only is a safe feeling environment; it as well bring out the luxury and beauty of the bluffs u drive through. From amazing architecture to beautiful landscape its worth the drive to enjoy in all the things they have to offer.

Clean, well kept, and lots of different fields and playgrounds.

I love love love this park, it’s huge has a very nice playground area and even accommodates my child with a handicap swing! You can’t find those everywhere. The walking trails are so nice it’s easy to forget your in a city park when out on a trail full of trees and a creek.

While in town I was so glad I stopped there to take a walk. The fall colors were beautiful. I felt safe while walking also. Kirkwood is so fortunate to have this recreation area as well as the wonderful theatre.

This park has pretty much everything. Playgrounds, a lake, tennis and other sports courts, a small amphitheater, and even a snow cone stand!

Kirkwood park is a great place for everyone. The walking paths are well kept and have exercise equipment. There is some very nice playgrounds for the kids and for toddlers with a large outdoor sand box. The lake has fish but you need a license. There is also an outdoor pool. Overall great park and well kept.

Love the park today. The temp was just right and a nice breeze in the air. It was a good day for a walk in the park after church. The Lord is good!

Great space, well taken care of, excellent facilities

You can always find a picnic table. Most parks just have a few pavilions to reserve. We show up unplanned at Kirkwood park and always find a table. Our kids love the playground.
