Good facilities nice atmosphere and a fireplace that worked well.

We have a lot of our large family events here. Its the perfect place for reunions, parties, or receptions. Its also great to come play at the playground because its rarely overcrowded.

Great place for large gatherings or parties. Bathrooms are in a few places so no matter which shelter you are at its not a very far walk to get to one. Playground is quite adequate for kids of every age. Its a wooded area so it is absolutely beautiful.

Nice family place. Good playgrounds, although some (not all) of the equipment could stand an update. Picnic shelters are kept clean and there are a few smaller ones that are tucked into shade near the creek that offer a peaceful break. Great place to have a family reunion, birthday party, or any gathering of family and friends.

These sites are great to use for parties! They just need to update their brooms and spray for wasps every once in a while... Lol

Love this park. Plenty of things for people of all ages. Naturistic but enough modern conveniences to make it enjoyable. The campground is a great place for dogs.

Pretty picnic area and its super close to play areas and bathroom. Only down side (whuch is understandable) is that no pets are allowed in picnic area.

Loved it. Been to several shelters cabins in this park. But I think #5 has to be my favorite. Love the peacefulness in the area.

We enjoy staying at the Eastman Recreation camping site. Very clean, everyone that camps there keeps a high standard of neatness around their RV campers. On the days that we need to return home over night, we feel very comfortable about leaving our personal chairs and grill outside. All the other camping neighbors are very friendly. The care taker lives nearby and security patrols thru the campground often.

Excellent area for a picnic, basket ball, volleyball and badminton. Great covered dining areas, convenient facilities and grills for barbequeing.

# 9 is a great place to have a family gathering.

The rentals arent bad, and the area is for the most part quiet. On busy days the roads can be quite crowded and the signage for directions around the property is definitely lacking. The picnic areas could use some outdoor fans, as they get very uncomfortable on a hot day with the metal roof. Playground and Central area is nice for kids and a short walk from most of the picnic areas.

Grew up camping in the campgrounds here. Lots of memories :) a clean park to enjoy! Getting in the creeks to hunt for crawdads is the best!

The Eastman Cabins and Recreation area is such a beautiful place. Great for birthdays, family gatherings, or just to come and have fun. There is a big play ground, basket ball, corn hole boards, a volleyball court, and a really nice creek. Definitely a lot of fun.

Kids love it here. Nice shelters playgrounds and the creek is great for the kids to play in.

This is a very nice recreation area with lots of covered picnic tables with grills, one large picnic area with fireplace, areas to play ball, playground, a nice creek to wade in, and a well equipped campground. It is private to employees and retirees.

Nice place, right outside the industrial chaos that is Kingsport, this nice little quiet green area for relaxation. Or partying! You must work at or for Eastman in some way, or know someone who does, to reserve covered areas.
