Nice interpretation center, hard to find the wildlife though. Ask about the trails. Wet season is the best season...

Great water birds! Clean place and easy access!

Went their for a field trip. It was awesome! sometimes the road to the pond is flooded so you have to balance on concrete blocks it was like an adventure! Plus, the birds there are cute! I recommend this place for tourists and I do not recommend littering in the habitat of endangered Hawaiian birds.

Great outdoor excursion. Ponds next to the ocean. Lots of wildlife easily assessable.

Be sure to stop by the visitors center first. Free to visit and they supply you with binoculars and a bird identification sheet.We went during off season so there werent as many birds, but it was still a nice walk. If the water level is high, be prepared to get a little wet if you want to walk all the way around the ponds.

Volunteers are always seen here working hard to maintain this beautiful wildlife sanctuary.
