The preserve is very small and under a great deal of repairs. It is pleasant, just not very much to see right now. That is what a nature preserve should be. The path skirts the edge of the presence, and leads to the ocean. It is worth seeing.
Too bad people and the city neglect the few nature spots on the island. What could be a nice haven for wildlife and people doesnt seem to get any love or care. Infrastructure is dilapidated, and there is a lot of litter. Humans are disappointing.
If you are walking on Atlantic Blvd it is nice to stop and walk down the nature path. On the end has a nice ocean view.
Cool walk, slept under the stars on the beach one nite!!
Short walk through a mangrove forest ending in a nice area and a great view of the ocean.
Beautiful nature preserve with easy beach access. There isnt much parking however so keep that in mind.
Nice little patch of nature set aside for people to enjoy. As I left I picked up a few trash items, at least what I could carry, and deposited them in garbage and recycling bins.Ideally, litter bugs should be ordered on clean up crews to remove trash left by those too inconsiderate to pick up after themselves.
Do not expect a beach. Just for gazing.
Not much to see, boardwalk just ends at the beach
Stupid and pointless...theres nothing there
Today the Key West Sea Turtle Club did a beach clean up
