Looking for some peace and quiet? This is the place to find it..beautiful wooded paths dog friendly, but not crowded..good place to go for a hike and get nature back into your rhythm.
Got completely lost and had so much fun!
Hiking trail is closed for no reason. As long as people are terrified of a virus with a .03% mortality rate, just stay home like a good little sheep.
Great trail for a quick walk. A bit buggy so be prepared! Moderate traffic on my visit.
I like to read a book here..
Such a beautiful park!
Beautiful fall colors
Seventy acres of natural beauty with plenty of amenities such as a baseball diamond, rest rooms, picnic areas, playgrounds, nature trails, parking and much more offer a beautiful respite in this somewhat secluded setting. Great for children, small or large groups or just a place to hang out. Two entrances, north and south lead you to the parking areas. Fun for the entire family.
Can someone tell me how to get to the bridge? It is so cool
Nice park and trails are very nice
This is a hidden gem. There are two playgrounds on different sides of this large nature preserve park. The larger side I am not impressed with (that side gets 1 star), we found lots of trash, broken glass all over the large play area, and graffiti everywhere... Now you walk through a path or ride your car/bike over to the other side and it is gorgeous. Ive never seen other kids playing over there. Its clean, beautiful, theres an owl swing set, slides, a spider web, large mushrooms (Amanita Muscaria) to walk or hop on, a climbing Bumblebee stack, a dragonfly seesaw, pretend large redwoods for climbing, etc... Each area has an explanation of each ecosystem. It is awesome! Probably my favorite little, private park.
The picnic held here was a success, due in part to a very nice location! My only negative comment is in regards to the nature trail, as it seems to have been neglected since our last picnic there in 2018. The nature trail is something that several of the picnickers normally enjoy, but were surprised at its current condition.
Nicely maintained grounds. Lots of equipment for the young children. Bathrooms located close to parking area. Large area for group plays.
The bathroom stalls dont lock and water leaks out of the walls when you flush the toilet nearest to the door.
Quiet and out of the way. Clean and well maintained
Favorite place for a family party or just a nice stroll and playground for the kiddos!
Great park for ages alike. Toddlers to young children. Lots to do and the picnic area is great for a breather and lunch.
Beautiful Park! Ive lived in Kenosha for 20 years and only discovered that there was a park near a few years back. Wonderful trails and paths. Pet friendly (our black lab loves it here) as well as child friendly with a large playground area on the west side of the park near the parking lot.The only complaint is the bugs that summer weather brings. Means I use the park more in the winter.
Nice park, has large baseball diamonds & bathrooms. Big parking lot.
Great
Awesome nature center. My kids grew u learning about nature there. Now my grand kids are.
GOOD FOR THE KIDS
Great playground for young kids at the nature walk area. Quite a few nature themed areas with different equipment relating to each theme. Bathrooms when closed when we went.
No biggie, just a nice park on the North side of Kenosha.
Some nice trails hidden behind this deceptively small park.
Kind of an older outdated baseball / Softball complex. Needs better field maintenance and bathroom signs. Unless you walk in cant tell if its a mens room til you see the urinals. I guess they put more interest into Nash Park.
Great place, amazing food, beautiful grounds
Nice place to walk trails
Its a nice little park. Would be better if it was kept a little better, I havent seen any grounds workers do anything with it for the year Ive lived next to this park
A little piece of heaven
Right on the outskirts of Kenosha. Beautiful park with a lovely atmosphere. Check it out in the fall for some great colors.
I love going here on my free time expecally early in the morning. just to get some fresh air
Beautiful. My dog and I can hike without seeing other people. Its pretty neat!!
Very nice park. Dont miss the nature preserve across the bridge pictured. North side of park. Take the path.
Nicely kept park, great for children and walking pets. Bathrooms could use proper signs.
Trash all over park many times Ive taken my daughter
It right at home. I live in area.
Nice little nature center/park, good for evening stroll
Well kept - nice playground equipmentFacilities could be nicer
Nice up kept park that features a Pokestop for the popular game Pokemon Go! It also features a portal for the Niantic game Ingress.
One park. One small parking lot. This park is better suited for long walks than anything else.
Never being their look fun
Peaceful walking
Great bidden trails and a large playground.
My favorite park in Kenosha. No one sends to know about it so its usually empty.
Nice and clean
Beautiful venue
My favorite park, especially for the train track bridge.
Amazing Nature
Beautiful Park
Beautiful
Its fun
It was ok hard to find well hidden
Grandkids love it there
Fun
Baseball fields are poorly maintained. Pavilion roof shingles are flying off. Bathrooms are constantly leaking water from toilets, sinks, and who knows where else.
Smoked weed in the parking lot
Nice here
Fairly nice park
Pokemon go stop.
Peaceful and serene
Wish that there was a park for kids but the park is huge if you really want to get off the path they have
