Saw Little Shop of Horrors. Great play. The live orchestra really stepped up the play. Singing and acting was very good.
The experience was excellent. We seen frozen jr. The show was fun for both kids and adults. On the expensive side but well worth it.The theater is vintage in every detail. Although it could use some upkeep, I would still strongly recommend it for a family night out.
I have seen 3 different productions here and have never been disappointed.
We love every production, but especially frozen jr as of late. We make a point to see every play we can and we are never disappointed. I love how the kids can get candy and moms can get a glass of wine or a beer and we both can sit down and enjoy a live performance together. It is a staple here in kenosha and I know this will be a happy memory she takes with her forever.
I’d give 10 stars if I could. What a great time we had. The prices were reasonable and the people where so nice. Free parking also. I recently moved to Kenosha 2 years ago and this was my first show Ive seen at this theater. The theater has history and has been restored beautifully .The actors gave an outstanding performance !!I was so moved by the performance we plan on returning again soon. We attended miracle on 34th st. We were not dissapointed. What a great place!
Great play. Little Shop of Horrors was excellent.
The Rocky horror picture Show is one of the greatest of all times!
We went to the 2nd annual Casino night fundraiser. I had a great time and Im looking forward to going next year.
Rocky horror was amazing as well as many shows Ive seen throughout the years. Purchasing tickets online was a breeze and the Rhode of course, is an awesome slice of kenosha!
My wife & I have grandkids that are involved in some of the children based performances. Ive learned young ones are encouraged to participate and have fun. Some of our older ones have gone on to middle & high school plays, band & choir. I think its a life lesson theyve learned.
Always a great show!Ive seen 2 shows performed by the Lakeside Players and they have both been phenomenal. You would think you went to a big city show!
Nice people. Good pricing. Now their stuff. Will be back.
Much effort. Some shows are great some far less. It is community theater. Overall we should support it more.
Just came from Rocky Horror Picture Show.Awesome show. Awesome cast. We loved it.

Great venue, everyone was friendly, show was awesome. Wish we lived closer.
Lovely little community theater. Ive seen a few shows here and had a good time every time. WAY out of the way for me, so I only go when a friend is in cast.
I loved the show that I went to see here. The venue was magnificent as well. If you are a thespian, definitely check this theatre out. I was just a tourist and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Enjoyable entertainment. Beautiful old theatre.
We seen rocky horror, and had a great time. Performers were awesome!!!!!!
Beautiful place. I sell at the farmers market there
This is the location of the Winter Harbor Market in Kenosha. Its nice to be able to pick up some staples and some treats from local vendors even though its cold outside. The building is beautiful and is really quirky.
Great rustic experience. Dont miss it!
An old movie palace thats been re-purposed into a live theater performance space. 1 side a black box theater and the other a proscenium stage. Typically runs shows from Sept. to May
Had an AWESOME time at our first show!!
A neat theater with a fabulous community theater program.
Good to see the old theater open & being used again. A blast from my childhood! Very talented group of actors.

Starving artists did amazing!!
This quaint little theater is located in the heart of downtown Kenosha close to Wolfenbuttel park and the lake. I went to see a local production of Rent a couple of weeks ago. Like I said, the theater is small and doesnt really seem to have designated parking but there is plenty of free parking on the street very near to it. The bathrooms were clean but, as always, there is always a need for a second womens restroom. There are several little restaurants near it to grab a bite to eat before or afterwards and it seems like a safe neighborhood to walk around at night.I would say though that you shouldnt go expecting the same feel of going to a theater like those in downtown Chicago or even Milwaukee. Those have money and are kept up pretty well. This theater definitely shows its age and isnt the most comfortable. The seats are very low to the ground, dont have much spacing between them (for your knees), and are very touchy (they arent stationary and move in a gliding motion back and forth). Its also first come, first serve seating so come early to any show you attend. They do have a small concession stand and while they have a balcony it seemed to be closed for seating. Still, if youre just looking to watch a show for a cheap price, this is definitely a good place to check out.
My wife and i went to see rent, one of the best shows ever great place great atmosphere good family event to go see a play.
Good plays
Fun show and a neat theater
I was wrong. Earlier, I thought it was terrible. I was wrong, though and I feel terrible about it. Its a good place (Very fancy btw) and some plays CAN be graphic. Some plays are 13+ up, and some arent. Auditions may be scary, but once you see everyone on stage so confident, the adrenaline kicks into you and you get comfy in the spotlight. My very good friend is in most of their plays and I enjoy seeing her in them. I suggest that you go, but check the paper so you can make sure that you are in the right age group to audition.
Fun time
This is a beautiful lobby an intimate theater and always a good experience.
Excellent performance
Always a great time to be entertained by live actors.
