The ladies did a great job of following through with covid care as they transitioned our kids back into class.

I used to go to KAPA, but my mom made me quit because I had a very busy schedule. I love the teachers there, and have done all of the classes, and the teachers are bright and brilliant! Hip-Hop, personally, was my favorite. This is the #1 place that I recommend. I wish I could go back here

We have been dancing at the Kenosha Academy of Performing Arts for almost 8 years. We absolutely love all of the teachers! They are very compassionate about their jobs and love teaching dance. We always feel welcome when we walk in the front door. The front desk staff is great and is always there to help when you have a question. At KAPA we feel like part of a dance family and my girls absolutely love it. The best in Kenosha!

I was befriended and betrayed by the owner and adult instructor.I had a nervous breakdown over this.The rejection of a studio throwing all the hard work Ive been putting into tapping adults having and then I will list told I cant come back unless my daughter removes her Google review. Then when I talked to the owner she told me if I give them a 5-star then I could come back so I had to choose one have my daughter remove hers or myself going to five star. After how I was treated would you give a 5 star?Ive been dancing at the studio for almost 10 years even took piano lessons never caused any problems.I even did volunteer dancing for them. I was treated so unfairly for nothing that I did wrong. My daughter posted a review that gave them one star. My daughter is 41 years old. The sad thing is they were there for 8 years and spent a lot of money there her daughter her son and husband took anywhere from five to six classes. They tried talking to the manager and they tried talking to the owner and the situation that they were having and they did not fix the problem they were having with the studio. So they wrote a review gave a one-star. They told me the mother of a 41 year old. To tell my daughter to remove the ones that are or they are going to kick me out that I cant come back. For one theres a thing called freedom of speech two I had nothing to do with it I didnt even know about it until the studio made that threat. Ive been devastated over this because I dont think I should have made my daughter remove something that she believed in because the studio KARP did treat her family very unfairly.

The teachers are outstanding. The facility is well maintained and focuses on dancer development instead of pushing them toward competing against other dancers. The staff is awesome and very helpful. You are always welcomed with a friendly hello.

My daughter has been going here since she was 3. It is truly a family and we love it! She has gained confidence, friends, and has cultivated her love of dance here. Its a great studio!

A wonderful facility that offers a lot of opportunity for dance and music. The studio is extremely flexible with their schedule and all of the students are happy to attend.

KAPA is an amazing studio! The instructors are very experienced and wonderful with children. My 7 year old daughter loves going to class - they keep it fun and she is learning a lot!

I take Adult tap lessons at KAPA. I started a little over 3 years ago (at age 66) and I am having the time of my life. The instructor (Kathea) is the best and the fellow tap dancers are very friendly and encouraging. They offer day time and evening lessons. They have beginner and intermediate classes available.

My daughter has been participating in dance with KAPA since she was 3. For anyone who knows me, that should speak volumes in and of itself. The staff with whom I have interacted are nothing short of awesome. Ms. Annie is amazing in her dealings with both parents and children alike. Ms. Heather, Mr. Mitch, and Ms. Haley are bundles of energy and awesome with their students. Ms. Susan has the patience and compassion of Job. I will continue to support my daughter’s goals and aspirations because I know she is learning more than just great dance! Thank you KAPA for all you do to improve my daughter’s life.

My girls have been dancing with KAPA for 8 years. The teachers are the BEST! The staff are welcoming and very helpful. If you are looking for a quality dance studio where your child can grow, KAPA is the only place to be!

We enrolled my daughter in the fall and it has the best experience of her life so far. At 3 years old my daughter has made many amazing friendships with not only her dance mates but the staff as well. The staff takes the time to get to know not only the children by name but also their family members who bring them on a weekly basis. The staff has also talked with me about working with my son sho is autistic and loves to dance to incorporate him into the hip hop class and make sure that he is comfortable and feels accepted.When I was hit with financial struggles due to reasons beyond my control, I expressed concern to the staff about having to pull my daughter from the class she was in and loves. The staff found a way through volunteering at the studio to not only keep my daughter enrolled, but it also allowed me to enroll her in the second class that she has been wanting to take as well.The staff super caring and supportive of issues that arise and will do everything they can within reason to ensure that their dancers and families are happy and are able to remain dancing. I recommend KAPA to anyone who is looking for not only a place for either your child or yourself to call home as a dancer.

One of the most negative experiences of my life. Their events coordinator Jeri is the absolute worst, shes nothing but a thief. Jeri has stolen much money from me and my place of residence. She needs to prosecuted.

Kenosha Academy of Dance is the best place in Kenosha to dance. They have professionally trained staff to teach your child the love of dance. My daughter danced at KAPA for 11 years. They gave her the ability to pursue her passion of dance. Thru KAPA and the wonderful teachers she able to receive a scholarship to UWM to achieve her bachelors of fine arts in dance. She is now able to bring her passion of dance back to KAPA as a college graduate and is now one of the teachers at KAPA.Danielle Moore

My Children were going there for many years. When my children and their father pulled out of music. They treated us differantly. My daughter was also in dance and we had to take this year off for financial reasons but still got their emails. I put in for volunteer hours because I was told I can. Then, come to find out from another source that received an email that the owner made the decision who she wanted. Why wasnt I contacted back? Why did they go and relay this to another dancer through email about me? Why did they take me off the emails all of a sudden? So, I called for info and no one has returned calls. My guess is if you leave there studio after being with them for about 8yrs, they turn on you. Fake smiles and kind talkers. The Dance teachers are fabulous and piano teacher Lynn is teriffic. Owner has her favorites. Im a very low key person but Im speaking up now. Owners are all about the $$ and dont really care about the kids. The gossip hurts the most and is very unprofessional.The post above was written months ago. I never said anything about it being a bad studio for dance or performances. I was told if I didnt take this post down they were not going to let my mom dance there anymore. Well my mom loves the adult dancing program and has been taking lessons for about 9+yrs now. She was devastated that they were (as I call it) blackmailing her for me to remove my Google review. I am my own identity and I have my own opinions. She should have never been held accountable for what I post. They will let my mom dance now after she puts in her 5 star reveiw. My mom is never on social media so she didnt know of my previous post or this one. I will keep my 1star review because of how my personal situation was handled last year.

Amazing instructors, great facility with live video feed in the waiting room, & high quality performances. Would definitely recommend this school to anyone! Great start for little ones and highly qualified instructors for the older students.

KAPA is a place you can call home. The dance instructors genially care about your child and their well being.

Its a not good place to learning for my baby. And they are not good at serving. Some of kids parents are bad and low class.
