The park is pretty well clean. I eat here since most dining rooms are closed. This seem to be a huge hang out for the homeless. I feel safe and only get out of car to put my trash on the dumpster. You do see alot of people sleeping and hanging.
Garbage cans overflowing. Port-a-potty overflowing. Playground is okay. Good shade trees.
Great place to pokemon hunt close to home.
I would give more stars however the playground equipment is broken. My son almost fell off the bridge on the smaller playground area cause a board is not on all the way. Also there was trash everywhere. The steering wheel on the playground was not secure either my son almost fell threw. I am not happy my kids live this park and it has just turned gross. It is quiet and trees give nice shade in summer
Nice park right in the middle of Kennewick & cops, Library, bus stop, and hospital ALL within a mile. Pool in the summer 111%good definitely 5☆ Daniel
Gazebo full of drug addicts but everywhere els was great
Nice peaceful and quiet place
Its nice during the day a newer kids playground and a little older one. Can walk around the park on a sidewalk. Would not recommend coming here after dark, why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5
I lived in Kennewick as a child for a while, in Richland at the age of 18 for a while. Then I moved back toKennewick in 1995, left in 2008. I am back in Ontario, OR. When I lived there Keewaydin Park was and still is my favorite park that I have been to in my life. It has a lot of shade trees, people who you can be friends with, have a picnic with my kids and friends. The kids can play and have a lot of fun playing ball. We always have a great time and for hours. I even moved to my last house of two years there only a block away. The kids were grown up and gone, I continued going to park. Take book and read, or write songs or just walk the paths.
This is a very nice place to go and relax chill have a picnic hanging with friends right on the bus line very calm and quiet great place to take the kids
Some of the playground equipment is in SERIOUS need of replacement. The grass needs tending to. Otherwise its a nice park.
Nice park with lots of shade and play structures. Some of the structures could use some repairs or I would have given another star.
Home away from home
Beautiful, lots of different things kids can do, good place for a picnic
It is a nice place to bring the kids and play for a bit.
I have been coming to this park my entire 56+ years of life. My grandchildren love the swings as much as I did, and still do.
A quiet well shaded park that has picnic tables & a large covered area for gatherings.
Its a nice looking park but also kinda creepy at times with the gang of people who show up sometimes.
Like that theres room away for the streets. Kiddo likes to have space.
Would have been a lot nicer if we could have used the restrooms. My husband and I were trying to enjoy our day together there, wont be trying that again. To many other parks to enjoy !
Killer Hoops
Very green much shade
Great place, but a little shady at night
Grew up here. Needs lights, and has good parking.
Very clean Park enough room for the dogs run around they always have staph on hand to clean the park up
Usually quiet clean and relaxing. Covered picnic area. Historical museum and library. Good for kids
Very dirty and boring place. The only thing good about it is the basketball court. And even the basketball court is somewhat dirty. And the nets are horrible. Plus all the kids smoke weed after school here so there is lots of blunt papers, bags, apples, and polar pop soda plastic bottles laying there. Plus there is some gangs hanging out there like Bloods and Crips and some Surenos.
One of the worst parks Ive been to in the Tri-cities. Dirty, broken down, tagged, and filled with wasps.
Best park in the Tricities. Lots of teenagers after school hours though.
Good place to go to
Its a nice park however my only gripes with it are the tagging and if you go during a school day when the high schoolers are supposed to be in class you may find them there smoking. However aside from that its a really nice little park. A good amount of land, nice toys, and a basketball court
Awesome walking a freinds service dog cookie.*****
Love the new covered area.
The city keeps it maintained but there are some problems with homeless people sleeping in the park. Hopefully the city can come up with something more suitable for them
Pretty good park for pic nics
It would be a nice park if the graffiti was taken off all of the playground equipment if there werent homeless people sleeping in the bathrooms or doing other things theres always garbage everywhere and its not always the nicest environment to be around with your kids
Met up to me my bestie
Kennewick skatepark was easy to access. Great parking and open area for learning tricks.
Tweakers come out mid day, even though its right by a museum and police station
I walk my puppies there everyday, and look for TCFB rocks!! I have 8 now, I love!!
This park needs some TLC, it does however have a great covered gazebo for birthday parties or get togethers !
Would give 5 stars if the location was better. But the waidding pool that is there for the kids is Great!! Can be crowded, if you go during peek hours. I take my 4 kids here at least once a week, in the summer. They LOVE the mushroom pool as they call it. Lol
Cute Park nice alternative to the bigger ones
Very nice park. A gazebo, which was wonderful on a hot day with a family gathering
The city of Kennewicks oldest park. This historic park is located on 8 acres. This park is really nice it lacks water surrounding it as well as a place for homeless people to build a fire so they can keep warm this upcoming winter they dont really have a place I can kind of keep him warm a little bit so be nice at the park could find a spot the kind of keep them warm so this way they can stay safe during the winter time
Its just a nice park, the crew keep it pretty clean even if it is right next to schools and any graffiti gets covered pretty quickly.
Great park to go to!
Love comunity center
Has swings, a good covered area, and some open fields.
Its a great hangout spot right next to the library.
The place needs a little yard care.
It is ok. But if you like graffiti on trees, benches, play eqipment and broken play bridges for the kids. Trashy park all together.
Always trash everywhere. But good play structures if you dont have preschoolers that want to pick up the food highschoolers left behind and eat it.
Fun an quiet place park
Trees, shade, play structures, covered tables, electricity, BBQs, seasonal bathrooms. Adjacent to baseball and softball fields, public library, and public swimming pool. Across street from Kennewick High School (running track facilities available). Kennewick parks open every day from 6 A.M. to one half-hour after sunset.
Good little park, great for kids.
Nice but no tables.
Great park
Very small but cozy and beautiful.
Peacefull and shady
Always good
Would not be surprised if I was robbed or stabbed in this park...
It can be a peaceful place
Its a park.next to library
Good park, good view.
It was greatl
Gotta love it
Nice park!
Park is filthy with no maintenance
No BBQ pits
Kids come here to do drugs.
Its a very clean Park
Fun and clean.
Clean
Small park. It is by library and museum.
Friendly experience.
Dirty restroom.
Close by
Well kept
Weird Skies I Have Seen There
A small and medium play structure, a set of swings, basketball court, and lots of grass areas
Great park
Ok park. Bathrooms are horrid.
