Its amazing! If you have a dog this is the place to take it! I have recently stayed untill sunset and it is super cool! If you have kids this is also another great place to go, but if its tick season I would a little more carefully because there are usually a lot of ticks.

Clean, beautiful, not too busy, stroller friendly (which is huge for me these days!)

I have been going here since I was a kid. It is an absolutely beautiful place for you and your family to take a nice walk or at the end of summer pick some blueberries. I dont know much about the hunting trails outback and yes you can drive through most of the place during certain parts of the year.

Nice network of trails and off roads. Good place just to get out in the open for an hour or two.

Great preserve. Im a hunter and encountered a game warden/biologist here. He was one of the most professional and informative staff of fish and game I have ever met. Thank you Biologist Lindsay. You are an asset to our fisheries and wildlife.

Great wild blueberry picking. So much better then grocery store or even farmers markets.

If you are looking to pick wild Maine blueberries this is a great place with hundreds of acres of blueberries, and it is free. The dates are limited for picking because it is a wildlife refuge, but after Aug 1st you can pick as much as you want.

A short dirt road good for seeing nature. I was hoping to see more birds though.
