This was a start to finish 10/10 experience. I came here during my birthday (solo and as a Brooklyn resident) during covid times to get a different perspective of NYC. All staff members were super professional and informative. Alix made me feel at ease while giving safety instructions and Chris (the pilot) was entertaining and helped everyone get the most out of our time in the air. If you’re wondering whether this experience is worth it - it is! This is the best view I’ve had of the New York landmarks even after nearly three years of living here. The staff members were dope. Shoutout to Alex who checked us in and Chris our pilot for really making the experience magical. The helicopter seats six passengers and seating is decided by the company based on weight distribution. FlyNYON provides a secure phone holder and you can bring your camera.

Surprise birthday gift for my wife. Couldnt have asked for better service. Reporting location was easy to find, professional and clean. Andy was also great. We had a fantastic experience with FlyNYON in NYC. From arrival through to leaving the waiting lounge, Alex was a great host and got us even more excited for the flight. Our pilot, Chris, was awesome and took our feedback surrounding which sights we were most interested in on board. We felt very safe throughout the entire experience.In the lead up, we were concerned about which seats we would end up in. Of the 6 available seats, 5 have open windows and are all good seats. The only seat thats less than ideal is the middle seat, which does not have direct window access. Our flight only had 5 people, so the middle seat was not used. The team makes a great effort of keeping groups together, but at the end of the day, the helicopter needs an even weight distribution so theres only so much you can do.My recommendations:- Book the 30 minute flight. Even that felt too short- Wear a sweater. We went on a 80F day and I was glad I had a sweater on- Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the wind- Gals, put your hair up. It blows all over the place and doesnt look cute in photos. Plus youll spend an hour brushing the knots out

I’m absolutely terrified of heights and chose the 15 minute flight to help me face my fears. Danny offered us to upgrade, and BEST FLIGHT OF MY LIFE. 32 minutes of insanely amazing views, money shots, and the most fun I’ve ever had. My experience with FlyNyon was phenomenal and the views were breath taking. To begin with, the office is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I had originally booked this trip during Christmas time to give my boyfriend as one of his gifts for the holidays. I purchased the Buy Now, Schedule Later, which I loved because it allowed me to pay immediately, however, schedule a later time that’s more convenient for us to do the ride. Alix was a great instructor. He was extremely informative, very kind and also had an enthusiastic personality, which got us excited. Our pilot, Phillip, was also wonderful. He made me feel safe the entire ride and was very informative as well. The views we saw at sunset were gorgeous. I highly recommend this company and I give my experience overall a 10 out of 10. What an experience! I had such a great time. If you have any questions, Danny is definitely the man. He made me feel at ease, was patient and very informative not to mention relatable. I originally booked the 16min but after talking with him I upgraded to the 30 min and it was well worth it. The rest of the staff was very welcoming also. The older gentleman who drove the van was super nice and helpful, as was Nick (the pilot). I cant wait to come back. Sidebar: the wind can be really strong at times on the ride, I recommend bringing large shade to cover your eyes from the intensity of the wind.

I flew from Miami to NJ just for this experience and to propose to my fiancé. My flight was moved because of repositioning and it was a big inconvenience, but when I spoke with the representatives they were all very helpful and attentive. They immediately solved the problem and even upgraded my flight time for free. The flight was amazing!! I highly recommend this experience!!! It was a lot of fun hanging our feet off the flight. The Pilot Kyle was the sweetest and very polite!Out shuttle driver was nice. We would have appreciated better customer service from the front desk upon being welcomed maybe with a smile. Also after our ride we had to wait 45 mins to get back on the shuttle which was highly annoying since it was pretty cold.But thanks to Kyle we enjoyed our ride around the city immensely!

LITERALLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.How could they get a 4.5 Stars. I would have rated a 0 if I could.I booked a flight at 6:30 p.m. one week before the flight time. I showed up at ten to 5pm. And 20 minutes before I arrived, I was told that there are not enough people to fly so they had to move us to 8:300. By the way I booked a 30 minutes flight with doors on.I got there and decided to wait because they said I could fly the sunset ne which is at 7:20 pm.To be honest it was not a pleasant welcome at the office. I feel kinda neglected and they were all kind of rude and not helpful. Thirty minutes before the sunset flight, I was pulled aside and asked to pay extra money go on the doors off experience and I can go right away instead of 8h30pm. so I decided to do it and paid 60 bucks more per person and there were two of us. Please be aware that if your purchase the 12 minutes flight, chances are youll be asked to upgrade. Its kind of a scam and thats the way they run their business. I said fine I would pay the extra money so they took my money and they called us to put on the harness and just 10 minutes before the flight time, they said you guys cannot go on because of the weight limits. By the way, the two of us weighs around 210 pounds. My question is when we booked the flight and when we arrive at the place we were asked to go on the scale and they should have known that people weigh how much and how much they could put people on the flight.I said no, I am not waiting another hour cuz I have been waiting since 5pm. They said there is nothing they can do. I demanded the refund and she suddenly said that they would have offered to flight us another time for free on top of the 8:30pm (but she didnt mention that when we first talk). I wouldnt have accepted the offer another, but i feel like they did not address the situation professionally. Staffs seemed to keep avoiding us and dodge the questions.NEVER AGAIN. Such a waste of time and a scam.

Customer Service is the worst and with Covid how can this place operate open door flights when you sit in a helicopter with no social distancing? I had a great time, our pilot was super friendly and the views were amazing. The only scary part was my seatbelt coming off along with another girls belt too.. there wasn’t much movement for both of our belts to unfasten. They tell you there’s a probability of that happening, so just make sure you’re attentive when it comes to that. Other than that, I definitely recommend it. Definitely surreal to be flying over the city!

I had a scheduled flight that I unfortunately couldnt make. I called to reschedule and receive credits back to my account to apply for a flight for another day. Unfortunately, whoever handled the phone call, did not fulfill my request and I was marked as a no-call-no-show. I called again a another day and fortunately, I was blessed with an amazing rep, Danny, who handled my issue correctly. Everyone was very nice at FlyNyon. We had an awesome pilot. The only problem was that I was very squished between two people, I couldn’t even move my arms. I didn’t get any good pictures and didn’t even get to put my feet out. Everyone had their feet out except for me. I paid over $250 to be squished and uncomfortable in the air for 30 min. Hopefully everyone else has a better experience.

I bought a Classic Package - with the Shoe Selfie Add on - and a 30 minute doors off flight, for myself and for my boyfriend. It was a surprise for him, and both our first times doing something like this. Obviously, in paying for something like this, I wanted to experience it with him. However, as we stood by our helicopter, waiting to be buckled in- I was told I was going to be in the front, next to the pilot. I fully appreciate the weight load and logistics that go into planning a flight, and successfully making it a safe experience for everyone - however, as I am sure you can appreciate, I was truly so disappointed to not be able to experience this with him. No videos, no pictures, nothing together. If I had known that was going to be the case, I would definitely not have purchased the tickets, or I would have asked to go at a later time/flight where we could be together. We may as well have been in two different helicopters. None of this was communicated at any point from the point of purchase until we were told where to sit. For paying so much for something that was supposed to be special - I cannot express enough how disappointed I am in the experience and in the lack of customer service regarding same.

Would not use this company even if it was free. I scheduled this tour for my boyfriend & I got his birthday and the night before I received an email for a change of time... from a 4pm time to a 9pm time. We had our day planned for weeks in advance & this change interfered with our other plans. The rep. Did not care & only offered a credit that I informed him/her I would not be able to use for another time. So much money has gone down the drain. They clearly do not care about their customers. They should not be so pressed for my money for a tour of two that it would hurt their pockets to issue a refund. Very Disappointing.

The experience was great and totally worth it. We initially purchased the flight for 15 minutes but then when we got there, the staff was very friendly and reassuring. We ended up upgrading the package to 30 minutes and it was amazing!! I’m very afraid of heights so the first few minutes was hard but after that, i got to really enjoy the breathtaking view!! Totally worth it!!! Great gift for any occasion!

Highly recommended, definitely worth it for the 30 minute ride. Danny was very helpful through the whole thing after checking in, great customer service. Dont be alarmed at the slightly rude receptionist, after those few minutes the whole experience is so much fun.

Ones doing it for the first time, GO FOR IT. What an amazing experience it was. The entire team is so friendly and helpful with anything that is an issue to you. So feel free to get it out there before you take off. Oh what an experience being over NYC. My flight was scheduled for 5 PM. The harsh sunlight was quite disturbing but nevertheless isnt that big of an issue.What I would suggest is taking an evening flight or the sunset flight. Im sure itd be breathtaking. Thats my plan for the next time. ;)The issue I faced was that they gave us a list of cameras and lenses that they have on email but when I reached there, they did not have what I wanted, so the shots I planned didnt come through. But, hey its about the experience too!Also, its a bit of a pinch to the pocket.In a nutshell, dont miss the ride over NYC by FlyNYON. :)

Everyone working there was friendly and helpful since the begining. Waiting lounge has a great vibe, you can chill there before flight. Safety is priority.My experience was even better, thanks to Jorge, who helped me with everything. Im very grateful!It was unforgetable!

The ride was great, very fun and pilot was nice as well. Five stars for the ride but a week later we were charged for a subscription $5.99. We called FLYON and they cancelled it. Again today, we were charged again? Very unprofessional. Signing us for a subscription we didn’t sign up for and charging us. They literally made $200 per customer or more on the ride and are still trying to make money. Stupid.

Overall great experience due to the nature of the activity, not necessarily the reception staff, which were kind of rude. Everything else was lovely, just wish there wasn’t 5 people in one tiny helicopter. Space was kinda tight inside.

As a native New Yorker this has to be one of the coolest things I have done in my city. My best friend and I did the 30 minutes doors off and definitely worth the time and money. Danny, the guy who helped us through the safety video and all was great, as well as the rest of the staff.Thank you FLYNYON!

This was definitely the coolest thing I’ve done all year! Highly recommend the doors off experience to get the best pictures! I went at 3pm on a perfect day. For photographers, I recommend going at sunset or closer to it for warmer colors in the sky. Alex and the rest of the team were awesome. I plan on doing this again

What an experience, 30 minutes, doors off, the most amazing views of New York! If you are in New York, or coming to visit New York I cannot recommend FlyNYON more. The Staff were amazing, friendly and professional going through the safety procedures diligently and helping with the equipment. Our pilot, Jeremy, was the nicest guy and an exceptional pilot. Thanks FlyNYON, would recommend to everyone and will be flying again!

Wow!! I don’t even know where to begin!! This was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever done! My husband and I are still lost for words to fully describe how incredible and breathtaking this was! From the minute we walked into FLYNYON we felt so comfortable. Their safety instructions make you feel very at ease. Our pilot, I think his name was Chris was amazing and funny! There was not one second where we didn’t feel safe. We upgraded to the 30 minute flight which was SO WORTH IT!! I definitely recommend FLYNYON to everyone I know and my husband and I look forward to doing a night flight in the future. Ten stars all the way!!

Flying over NYC with Flynyon was an experience of a lifetime and a dream come true. The entire team was exceptional - highly professional, safety-first, kind, accommodating, and warm. From booking with Erika who provided phenomenal customer service, to Jorge and Kiara on site, to our pilot Chris - the entire Flynyon experience was top notch and I will be recommending it to everyone I know. 5 stars - 10 out of 10 - I will be booking another tour very soon!!!
