My children were there all summer in Pengu Swim School and it was wonderful, making up classes is very easy, the guys at the reception always want to help you, the instructors are very good, we leave wanting to return. Thank you Pengu Swim School.

Weve been so happy with this swim centre for our daughter. She started as a baby and has progressed to the infant classes. The instructors here have always been welcoming, caring, trustworthy and gentle mannered. They go out of their way to connect with their students and are patient and encouraging. Were pleased to have you open again after the recent covid closure and thankyou for all the effort youve made to make the centre work, as best as it can within the current guidelines.

Everybody knows that Houston has flooding issues..... so it was very important for my daughter to know how to swim! I tried to teach her but swimming isn’t my strong point. I did some research and found Pengu. Unfortunately my daughter was not a fish in water.....but the coach has been amazing and taught her what I didn’t know how to teach her! She enjoys swim so much now that she asks me everyday if we are going. We are very blessed to have found such an awesome coach! I would recommend pengu to any mother with small children!

My son has been going to Pengu from beginner class, he has improved so much and swimming coaches are professional.He loves it so much that he is taking 2 classes each time. The place is clean and staffs are friendly. The manager Steffany is very helpful and amazing! I highly recommand this place to everyone!!

The good thing about Pengu is its indoors, the better thing is it is always clean and the best thing is the instructors and the staff are friendly and always willing to help.

I have been taking my daughter at Pengu Swim School in Katy for last one year. We have had a wonderful experience at the facility. My daughter is always excited to go to the school. The staff is good and the facility is well kept, clean and equipped with kids toys and books. There is ample sitting place for parents to watch their kids in action. The facility has many changing rooms and a decent ambiance. The instructors are very well trained and they take good care of kids. They are very flexible in accommodating schedules and their aim always has been kids friendly. There are always events and celebrations that always kids upbeat.Pengu is our family hang out place. We get to meet so many other parents and have formed our own small circle of friends. I would definitely recommend Pengu. Thanks, Pengu and team for a wonderful experience.

This swimming school is so good that we really like it. It provides us with the very nice facilities, including hair dryer, clothes dryer, lots of changing rooms, nice fish tank, toys, books, etc.. We especially like the facility managers, like Anna. She is always so helpful and beyond our expectations. We just love this place!

This swim school seriously exceeds my expectations. Not only is the facility beautiful with a huge window to watch your child swim, but they also have plenty of changing rooms and blow dryers for the kids after swimming class. Every single swim instructor my son has had has been so great. Thank you Kevin, Jose, Kristen & Grace for making sure my son is always comfortable and happy. Not to mention he’s already floating on his back and getting the hang of swimming at age 2&1/2! You guys are amazing. Keep it up!! -Torie Porter

We love this place! After several years at another swim school, we came here. In the past year, the kids have learned and improved at a faster rate than they did previously. They love the atmosphere and the instructors. The facility is very clean, and the staff is great. Highly recommend you check it out.

Pengu lost my pre-registration before they opened and did not follow up after repeated attempts of reaching out to them. After several months the manager finally found a way to squeeze my child in the schedule.That aside, there are 4 kids per 30 min slot meaning your child only gets 7-8 min of attention per week or a total of 30 min per month and its not cheap. That model is fine if youre willing to take the time for your child to learn the basics of swimming over a 6 month period.The instructors are good but next time Im going with a private instructor so my child picks it up quicker and has the attention learning to swim requires.

I went to see how Pengu classes were came in at 6:30 p.m., Im leaving with sadness and disappointment when seeing how they treat the children and the little interest of the instructor towards the little girls, to see how she cried of despair and the instructor did not care and the only thing he did was ordered her to be silent and seeing that she as did not stop crying, he only submerged her against her will. The little girls got out of the pool because it was to much of abuse to those babies. they are three-year-olds girls, this should be a fun place to learn, not to traumatize babies. and what is sadder is to see that a manager came and did not do anything but settle for giving a chat to the dad.

My three year old son learned to swim within the first three months. We loved our experience.

Its only my daughters 3rd swim class at Pengu and she really loves it she is 2 and in the Baby 2 class and they make it super fun with songs kids love and teaching them about swimming and swim safety at the same time. What I saw today really won my heart and really shows how all of the Staff and instructors really care about each and every student as their own. The owner/manager was walking a little girl to her class but she didnt want to leave her Mom and get in (shes in an older class so just instructor and students no parents) the owner manager stayed with her to make her comfortable showing her things doing bubbles with her and slowly got her to go in the water with the class. Then he quickly ran and changed and got in the water with them and stayed with her through the whole class not only did she stay in the water the whole class she was also having lots of fun and felt comfortable in the water :) Im sure he had a thousand other things to do but instead took the time out to make that student feel comfortable. If you are thinking about joining dont think twice you will love it!

My husband and I just recently started taking our daughter here for swim lessons for the first time (shes 3). We are very pleased with the lessons she is receiving, the instructors are so sweet to her and teach her so much. Everyone that works there that I have come in contact with has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Also, I cant say enough nice things about Jackie. She helped my husband and I get into a class when we first tried to sign up and all classes were full. She has gone above and beyond for us and our little girl from greeting us when she sees us and always making my little girl feel like a princess. I would definitely recommend this place!

My son was on their waiting list since January and I didnot get any calls from them. When we were there last week and waiting in a line, they enrolled two new kids in the same level of my child. If we didnot hear the conversation then we wouldnot know that they had the opening. We waited for 3 months and now we have to wait one more month coz they have opening in May. They gave April time slots to other people who just came there and asked but not us. Bad customer service .

They were good when we started year and half back. No report cards on how the child is progressing anymore, My kid gets hardly 6min for 30min class. Forget about make up class, they dont make it easy. I hardly rescheduled any. Staffs are rude and has no idea about information they give to parents and they dont respond to any emails, when I mentioned I pulling my kid off, they confirmed my email address to send the form because they dont take notice period over phone. No empathy. worst experience ever.
