My sons favorite place, we love the service and the people there are very nice.

Love our classes at Aqua tots!! The instructors are safe knowledgeable understanding and overall great with the kids! Facility is clean, water feels great and they are forcible with our schedule!!

My toddler was absolutely terrified of swimming. She hated water on her face, and couldnt stand water in her nose. They took her in, and just kept her in the water for the first week, even though she screamed most all the time.By end of week two, she was following what the instructor was asking, she accepted goggles and a nose clip, and suddenly she was under the water all the time. She stopped worrying about water on her face, and now shes diving to the bottom of the pool. They taught her how to get in and out of the water without assistance, and how to float.She still has some ways to go, but she loves her swim lessons. Thank you!

I have three of my children at aqua-tots Katy and they just have so much fun every time they go there. We have been going there for almost a year and I have watched my children progress from one level to another, watching them swim at aqua tots gives me an assurance of their safety in water at any time which is what the class is all about. It’s such a conducive and child friendly environment, the coaches we have dealt with have been awesome and my children are always eager to go for their swimming classes. It’s the best recommendation for a swim school I must say!

They are horrible at keeping class scheduled. Class are cancelled 20 mins ahead of time and whenever theres a long weekend they cancel the classes on Sunday without even telling the customers. The front desk works are absolutely rude too.

Love the classes and how much my daughter has improved from just being comfortable in the water to now happily swimming across the pool and learning different strokes. I recommend these swim lessons to everyone as it helps your children be more comfortable in the water and gain confidence.

My daughter has been coming here for 3 months, and I could not be happier. She was terrified of the water and came to class crying every day for the first 2 months. Her instructor, JP, was extremely patient with her and never showed signs of being annoyed with her. With the start of her third month, she loves coming in, asks about teacher JP and is excited to go and see him. We love this place. The staff have been great. I would absolutely recommend this place to any of my friends looking to put their kids in swim classes.

We had a birthday party there this past Saturday 11/10 and John Paul, I believe his name was, was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful, considerate, professional, and kind! He communicated well with me throughout the entire event and addressed any need or concern I had. My guest had a wonderful time! I also must say that the place was very clean when we arrived and the water temperature was perfect despite it being so cold outside that day. Thank you!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Its waste of time and money. The trainers are very unprofessional and end up analyzing kids on the trial class itself. They said my kid is very confident and can learn fast but he is very eager and hence should take private class so its safe for him and other kids. I never knew having eagerness and energy to learn is bad. We later went to Pengu which is a lot better place.

I honestly was expecting more. Its such a challenge to measure my toddlers progress with the constant change in coaches. At the same time, I feel that 30 minutes isnt enough time to adequately teach a group of 4 toddlers how to swim with only 1 coach. On top of that, the classes arent even a full 30 minutes. They start right when the class starts calling the kids in. That takes up 2 minutes. Then, they finish 3 minutes early. Thats not okay. There needs to be time allotted before and after that the full 30 minutes is used for instruction.

My grandson loves his swimming lessons at Aquatots Katy. The instructors are so very patient. I love the way they ensure the little ones are comfortable in the water.

I’ve signed up my girls twice now (took a break due to work schedule) and the staff are always super attentive. I’ve found that their policies are the best of all the swim schools (allow for make up lessons, ease and flexibility with scheduling, can adjust to 1, 2 or 3 classes per week). I find this was much more stable for them than other school structures. Highly recommend!

Water safety is huge! Especially living where we live. Though the 1st few classes were rough, we did the quick start and it was her 1st time, now she cant wait till her next class! Staff is very friendly and the coaches are amazing! We love it so much we recommended it to our friends and they did their 1st mommy and me class last Sat :) Thank you AquaTots!

My 5 year old twins love Aqua tots. The facility is always clean and the staff is always happy and helpful. The instructors are very patient with the kids at all levels. We have been with Aqua tots for 2 years and my kids are excellent swimmers and learning a lot. We owe much of our thanks to Coach Erin who was their coach for the majority of the time along with coach Brad and a couple of others. I would and have highly recommend this location to friends.

My son was extremely clingy in water prior to Aqua tots. The location is very clean and the staff is great. My son is in level 3 and loves his instructor Jean Paul. When we felt JP needed to push our son a bit more all we had to do was say something and he made adjustments. My son is now loving the water and has gained so much independence. Now when we get in the water with him he is very confident in himself. My main reason for swim class was safety and I feel he is accomplishing that here. And I must say the water temp is great for the kids all year round. I have been to others where the temperature was so cold my son was shivering. The pool area is usually kept very humid so it helps the kids focus on swimming more. JP is very playful and encouraging. I would highly recommend the Katy location.

My granddaughter has been attending aqua-tots for the last year and has really increased her swimming skills. It has been much better for her since we try and keep her with the same instructor because that way they know her and where she is at with her learning objective. By keeping a consistent instructor made her learning better and allowed her to progress more easily in the program. We are always around water and my biggest fear was for her to drown when it was something that could be prevented by her learning to swim. That was my expectation that if she fell into water that she did not panic and she knew what to do. The staff at aqua-tots are good with the kids and make them comfortable in the water as they learn. I have been pleased with the program and recommend them as a learning school for swim. My only thing I wish was a little easier is to switch her days that she goes. My schedule is done weeks in advance and when need to change a day have to wait that week and the last minute to change and sometimes there isnt always something available, and you end up with a time you really dont want, other than that it has been a great learning experience.

Love, love, love Aqua Tots!!!! My daughter has been in classes here for over 2 years. The coaches and staff are great!!! The pool temp is perfect. I just enrolled my 18 month old son. He is LOVING it!!!! I highly recommend Aqua Tots! Their program works and kids love it.

I enrolled my son there few weeks ago, he loves water, and was doing great with the curriculum, but the manager told me that he was very excited and that was a safety hazard for other kids and I would have to move him to a private session ($450) a month which was an excuse to drop him from the group class. I cannot understand why would you kick a child out of a class because he is excited to learn? Really? this act was not professional and racist because my son is African. Now I moved my child to PENGU at Cinco Ranch, even though its a little further but we love it, they are very patient with my son. I would not recommend AQUA-TOTS to anyone because of the lack of professionalism and the place is somewhat very small and they stop the class 3 minutes before, therefore your child gets only 5 minutes overall out of the 30 minutes per class.

Excellent school with good staff. Was very happy with the first teacher Jackie but unfortunately she had to leave.The new teacher Hannah is equally good. My son feels comfortable with her and is learning good.

The staff is GREAT and its a wonderful place for kids to learn how to swim without feeling intimidated and overall frighten, however it might need a DEEP CLEANING. SPOTTED A FEW ROACHES ON THE TABLES AND RED CLUB CHAIRS ON SEPARATE DAYS! Not GOOD!

I would recommend the Aqua Tots in Katy to anyone with little kids. Coach Chad showed great patience with my 3 and 5 yr olds. They took the fast track in which there were 10 classes (30 minutes each) that took place over a two week period. The kids learned so much and were so motivated to continue learning to swim. This place rocks!

My 4 year old daughter began classes at Aqua-Tots in April and by mid July had already advanced to the next level. I love the report cards showing how shes doing each week so we know what to work on at home. The instructors are all very patient and have a lot of fun with the kids.

From the front desk, to management, and the swim instructors, the staff members are very professional and friendly. Brad works well with the children and always has a positive attitude. The swim instructors display enthusiasm and seriousness while teaching lessons. Jen, for example, is an awesome instructor. My 4 year old son has made great progress, and he always looks forward to lessons.

Aqua Tots Katy has been amazing with my daughter! We took the 2 week crash course and my daughter was swimming. We are now enrolled in lessons twice a week and she’s doing amazing! Great place!!

We just had my daughters birthday party at Aqua-Tots Swim Schools recently. My daughter was very happy about her Arial- theme pool party. All her friends also had great time during the party. I was very satisfied with their service. The party host were very patient and helpful! The staffs also did great job on making sure all kids were safe! The facility were also very clean and organized.

My son started lessons when he turned 4 months old. We elected to only do two months of lessons because he is still too young to get much value from the lessons. However, we appreciated the lessons we did take. We are all more comfortable in the water since the lessons and have things we can work on with him until we begin classes again in the spring.One word of caution: if you are a short parent, this location has the shallow end at 4 3. I am too short for my son to lay his head on my shoulder and still be above water. Because of this, my husband did the lessons with him and I observed.

So long as they maintain good teachers, the quality of care is exceptional. Lindsey, Mylin, and Katherine are the best because they always greet customers with a smile and a friendly face, and my son LOVES coach Sebastian because of how firm, yet playful he is with his students. The parents suck, but the teachers are what makes my son keep coming back.

Both my 3yr old and 10 month old are taking swim lessons for the first time, and I have seen great improvements in both of them already. My 3yr old was shy around water when we started, and cried the entire first lesson. By the fourth class he had complete confidence in the water, and was asking when he could go to swim lessons again. My 10 month old is learning extremely quickly, and has shown a huge improvement in her water skills this past month. The instructors are very kind, patient, and push the students at an appropriate pace. I love that the baby classes are parent/baby, and love that pool is heated to a comfortable temperature! I highly recommend Aquatots, and plan to continue lessons with them every summer.

Problem 1: Silverfish in the pool!Problem 2: Instructor training during class timeThe previous teacher that my child had was good. After she left, Aquatots assigned a very inexperienced high school student as a new teacher for the infant class and they had trainings for that new teacher IN CLASS! This is just unacceptable. You cannot train someone to be an instructor during class time and especially having someone so inexperienced for the infant class. And silverfish in the pool? We won’t come back to this place anymore.

Great Swim School. I started my 2 year old here in January 2015 in group lessons and eventually transitioned to private lessons. Worth every penny. I love working with Katherine and Elsir. They are great in ensuring that both my son and I are comfortable with the classes, transitions, etc. I can see the progress my son is making in each class. My son looks forward to coming to Aqua-Tots each week.

Great job and great lessons! I now have a little fish that never wants to get out of the water. The instructors are amazing and if you are blessed to have Lane as an instructor your child will do wonderful! Keep up the great work Aqua-Tots!

Have received nothing but the best from Aqua-Tots Katy. Our son loves coming to class and all of his instructors. Very attentive to the childs needs and always super nice. The staff is great and always super polite and helpful.

My kids were signed up from last summer to November and we decided to discontinue because both kids kept getting sick and Houston had an unusually cold winter. I called to cancel and I was told that we are good but saw a payment posted to my account in December and then again in January with a new registration fee... at this point I went in and I was told that it was because the “new girl” who I talked to over the phone failed to inform me that I had to physically come in and sign a form to discontinue?!!! It’s just swimming lessons what kind of money making policy is that and why isn’t staff trained to state that policy? Then I was offered makeup classes from December and Jan and previously my little one had a lot of missed classes because of ear infections so those as well... but I’m not allowed to use those unless I keep paying for more classes... seriously?!

This feedback is not for the swim lessons, but for the birthday pool party.My son, who recently turned 6 asked for a pool party this year and invited 15 kids...While kids enjoyed the pool time, there are couple of things which could have been arranged better.First of all, two young instructors watching the kids in the pool, could have been a little bit more proactive and arrange some sort of games or activities as its stated in flyer.The young girl, helping kids with the pizza and snacks did amazing job, but one person simply cant handle 16 kids...In addition to that, every simple request for spare plates/forks/napkin/etc turned into the trip to the back office. It could have saved a lot of time and energy if they just made those available to the guests.

My toddler has been coming to this school for over a year and he loves the water. He shows no real progress and is obviously unable to survive and the teachers are rarely the same.I wish they had different activities as to make it more fun and different, or just to present different challenges, while keeping the same instructor. If you try to schedule a make up class, you can only do so 6 days in advance and once is scheduled, you either make it or lose it. The front desk staff not always helpful, only one (I wished I remembered her name! sorry). We changed our Saturday classes to the very first one on Sundays. Well, they are rarely ready, the pool is still covered in that plastic sheet, instructors not on time and in addition today the kids were taken out of the pool 5 mins early. Whats keeping me here are my sons make up classes as I dont want to lose them, at this point i will not recommend this place to anyone.

The swim coaches do not turnover that much here. My son has gone there for 2.5 yrs and has had 2 coaches. Staff is nice here.

I love this place! i have a 1 year old baby and he is taking swiming classes since he was 7 months. In these few months he could learn deep perception, float and how to grab in the edge. I am sure this school is helping him how to deal with water places!About the personnel, all there are very nice and give my baby the best treatment

I enrolled both of my children (ages 2 and 4) in this swim school with hopes of teaching them water safety and swim instruction. The first instructor we had was HORRIBLE! He didnt introduce himself to me or my children. Within the first 5 minutes of the FIRST day of class, as my 2 yr. old sat on the pool wall crying, he began FULLY submerging my 4 yr. old son under the water! My son was screaming STOP!!! as he continued to dunk my child. I quickly ended the session and spoke with the manager requesting a refund. She stated that I could fill out a request and she would submit it to the owner, but would not guarantee my $485 tuition would be refunded. After contacting the corporate office (with NO help), I decided to continue lessons with a different instructor (better to get something for the nearly $500 I spent, then nothing). I read online several complaints about refunds not being issued and decided I would watch like a hawk to ensure my childrens safety. The second instructor was very nice, but taught my children nothing. The water skills they have now are from my instruction in the pool on a daily basis following swim lessons at this facility. I STRONGLY recommend seeking swim instruction elsewhere.

Im very satisfied with the 2 birthdays parties Ive been hosting at Aqua-Tots. Staff is very helpful describing the details of what is included in package. They do follow up on calling 1 week before the party to make sure everything is in order and in case of any questions.I love that cake, paper goods for cake, goody bags and snacks for children is already included in package and ready when party starts.The only thing I was not happy about from the 1st party was that the water watcher didnt play any games or did activities with the children while in the pool. I made sure to ask for the 2nd party to have this done and water watcher gladly did activities with the children after asking.

This year, I signed my kid up for a two week intensive class on level three. Her classes were fine during the first week and she liked her coach and made good progess. HOWEVER, the regular coach was absent during the entire second week and the classes were all taught by different temp coaches, who said they were not allowed to mark on her progress card. At the end of the second week, I raised issue of if she could move on the next level classes and was told they could give her a test free of charge. Fine. One month later, after we came back from vacation and I called to schedule the said test, I was told that I had to pay an extra $21 for it, which nobody at the school ever told me. I explained to the lady it was not our fault that she had five different coaches during the two weeks and her progress was not properly recorded. Then the lady again surprised me with some new information. According to her, a Master Instructor had observed her class on the Thursday of the second week and decided that she did not make enough progress for the next level. OK, that were two entirely new pieces of information. I am very displeased with the way they managed their classes and commuciated with parents. They could have commuicated with me early on during classes how they would deal with the absence of the regular coach, how they would measure the progress, etc. I understand it is a business and all that, but I do not think they are an honest business.

The folks at Aqua Tots are very helpful and great with infants. My 5 month old loved her time there and plan to go back. We have referred our friends to give them a try.

All of my kids learned to swim at Aqua Tots. My oldest is now in a community swim team and my two youngest ones are about to finish the final level offered. They work with us on make ups and my kids love their instructors. We will miss it when we are done.

Not professional trainers. My son only attended 3 sessions there. He was enthusiastic for the swimming. But most of the trainers there are not professional. For the free class they show good care.But when my son attended the sessions, he had drank a lot water and he got afraid. He is not willing to go for swimming classes now. He is 5 years old. They started pushing him to shore and let him hold the edge himself and come up. But how do you expect a 5 year old kid with 2 classes to do that. He drank water multiple times.Try to go for a better place. They have also one month advance notice period. I had to pay for a month extra without even using it.

My 5 year old daughter didnt like swimming, she used to play in only 2 ft of water .Anything more than 2 ft and she would cry .We first went to Aqua tots in May/ 2015 for fast track .The first month was totally a waste because she was sitting at the edge of swimming pool all the time and participated very little in the swimming lessons but the instructor was trying hard to make her feel comfortable in the pool.That encouraged me and I enrolled her again in June for fast track and she started swim a little and started feeling comfortable in the water.At the end of July, she was promoted to next level.My friends and family are amazed to see her now that she is swimming so confidently without even needing a kick board now and is also doing backstroke. I am so happy after the all hard work of 3 months paid off. My daughter did it .yayyyyyy!!!!

We love it! What impressed me is that my 3yrs old daughter learns very fast by following the teachers instruction. The teachers are very patient and have high standards for kids.

The BEST swimming school out there! My daughters started august 2014 with no prior lessons, it amazes me everyday how rapidly they have progressed. They are great swimmers now thanks to aqua-Tots and especially their teacher A.J. We decided on the semi-private lesson, which is both of them to one instructor( we requested for the same instructor every lesson). I believe my children have progressed rapidly because of the semi-private lessons. A.J is a fantastic teacher and my daughters love him. The staff here are very professional, courteous and of assistance always. The facility is clean; you are able to watch your kids while swimming, which is quite reassuring to them. I can go on and on. I highly recommend this place if you really want your child to learn how to swim at a rapid pace, especially the private lessons.

This place is awesome, my son enjoys taking his classes there an certainly they have helped him to develop confidence on the water. The place is nice an clean and we have received friendly service. We recommend this place.

My three year old son was afraid of the water and after sveral attempts to get him to swim in our swimming pool, he did not make any progress. Last Month I saw the Aqua Tots signs which looked brand new. I went in and spoke to the staff and they were amazing and gave me great information and I enrolled him in the toddler program. In just two weeks I saw a remarkable change in his confidence level and he begs me to take him to our pool to go swimming. He has started to Dog paddle without fear and I can see the improvement daily. The staff at this location is exceptionally friendly and patient and my kid loves it there. I would highly recommend the Aqua Tots for anyone who wants his Kid to be the next Michael Phelps :-) Or at least we can try right !

The instructors are a bit hit and miss- you have to go to a couple classes to find a good one. The office staff is semi incompetent and and the policies are outrageous. We also had issues with schedules getting messed up by the staff every time we changed anything with our registration. I recommend a private teacher as it costs less than this place and you wouldnt have to deal with the staff.

I just had my sons first birthday party at aquatots Katy and I was pleased. At the time of the party all we had to do was jump in! The party host set up the party table prior to the party and cleaned up afterwards . The kids loved it. My son doesnt go to their swim class so I was nervous at first. It turned out that all of the kids had a blast. The only thing I didnt like was that I was told when I booked that there would be water games planned for the children but there werent. Throughout the party the host would kind of disappear and do their own thing. I would recommend this place for any child . Just make sure the host are doing what they promised and you will be a happy camper. The smile on my sons face was priceless! Thats all that matters!

I have 3 kids signed up. My 7 and 5 years old started a year ago with basic swimming level where they would not even stay in the pool if I was not holding them. Now, they both play alone in our pool and with confidence I can sit on a side and enjoy watching. My 7 years old wants to join swim team and it is amazing her progress in just one year. My 5 years old learned how to stay calm and swim to the side if needed, which was most important for non-swimmer. She is almost swimming as well. My 2 years old was attached to me like a little monkey, where I would have to pull him off me to do basic exercises. Now, after few months, he can dive and he has learned to kick very nicely, he loves swimming.On top of excellent teaching and benefits for my kids, the staff is exceptional. My kids love to go to swim school and see their favorite teachers. They are always willing to help and search for make-up classes, if needed. When late you can always join class as planned. With their busy day they stay calm and smiling.I tried other schools before but would not go back there now that I have seen what is possible in Aqua-Tots.

For everyone who is thinking about enrolling their child in this school just make sure you read what you sign. After a first lesson yesterday I realized that they do not provide the quality expected for a 30 minute lesson they were supposed to provide. Since the instructor is not experienced enough to teach to the group of 4 kids, she had to go one by one...so my daughter only spent 5 minutes with the instructor..ok maybe 6 minutes. Perhaps thats how it is everywhere else...I dont know, but at any rate I decided not to let me daughter continue and go somewhere else, and when I asked for a refund the manager told me on the phone that since my wife signed some sort of an agreement, we will not be getting any of the $200 we paid...nada....yes $200 to someones pocket without providing anything. My advice to you is READ what you sign...DO NOT trust this business..they DO NOT care about you or your kids...all they care is about MAKING MONEY in anyway possible....

My daughter has a blast at her swim lessons and we have had a wonderful experience with every coach we have done lessons with!! She has learned so much in such a short period of time and I would definitely highly recommend Aqua Tots!

My son has been coming since he was 2.5 years old. He absolutely loves coach Dani. She is super sweet and is making him a more confident swimmer.

What an unorganized place classes starts at 5:30 the couch talks and talks and the class ends at 5:55 at the end of the level kids are supposed to be evaluated but guess what the person who is assigned to evaluated calls in and the front desk doesnt bother to let you know that your kids wont be evaluated on top of that the front desk tells me to put my child in the next level if the couch feels that she needs to step down will put her back in the same old level like what in the world was she thinking!!! Ughhh so pissed of and the manager is never available to talk too. Do not waste your time and money.

Like the staff,clean facility but not managed well. Parents hold rooms for kids even before kids are out,told the front but doesnt seem that they really care about it. This is a reptititive, every time issue . They need some strong managing people there

My girls both learned to swim at this location. They do have a big turn around on instructors but my girls love going and they dont mind changing you to find an instructor that fits with your child. I personally dont mind someone holding a room if they are in it setting it up but just not leaving your bag hanging and going to sit down.

We really love Aquatots team and facilities! The Instructors are patient and always cheerful and they give you a very good insight on the kids progress after every class. The front desk team is also amazing : always willing to accomodate your schedule .

My daughter spent great time in this place and learned a lot. However one day she got a strep throat and she was very sick and I had to took her to the ER, after couple of days I called them to schedule a makeup class, they said that according to their POlICY my daughter isnt allowed to get a makeup class cause I didnt call them to tell them she is sick otherwise I can bring a doctor note !!!! Seriously??? Your child had fever and it is going above 102 F and her pediatrician is off and I should remember calling them ??? Or I should go back to the ER facility to ask them issuing me a note ???Is this how you help your customers ? Im sorry but my daughter isnt going back to this place again.

I like Aqua-Tots because the staff is nice, the rates are affordable, and the location is close to my home. Unfortunately, either there is a high turn over or swim instructors call in for subs frequently. Overall, I will return to Aqua-Tots next summer.

Been here for 2 years. The swimming progress is very slow. The manager and front desk staff are not friendly. I am glad that we are no longer bring our kids to here. Plan to find a better place. Not recommended.

I ordered some dry rice and extra tomato paste, and got nothing for a whopping 72 minutes. The drive thru here is absolutely terrible and I wouldnt recommend it if youre planning on eating with family here at aquatots

No commitment on what they say. Agreed on Make up class count on one day and other day they are not agreed on the same count. There is no fairness especially who is manager there. Not sure, how to talk with their customers

The progress is quite slow especially if you end up with 4 kids followed by the same instructor. Kids keep repeating the same exercises that have little to do with swimming. I have not seen much progress after 3 months or so so we decided to look for a different place.

I just saw one of the instructors walking from the gas station store to the Aqua Tots BAREFOOTED, no sandals, no flip flops, just feet on the dirty pavement straight to the pool area. I dont know what their hygiene policies are but I wouldnt take my little ones to a pool where at least one instructor does not comply with them and bring all kind of bacteria, dirt and poisoning elements to the water. A gas station is not the cleanest place on earth.
