If your from Houston you know we are all about tacos. REAL tacos! This is the place is it . It should definitely be on you top 5 for taco spots. They of course start you with chips and salsa, only red salsa no green. The tacos are all reasonably priced. I start eating here when the company was brand new so since then the menu has changed and expanded. It always seems to be happy hour here so thats a plus, but over the years the house margarita increased in price. Not by much but still and increase. Im also not a fan of the queso. Taste like plain Velveeta. The beef that comes on most plates is well seasoned and full if flavor. FYI the Westgreen location has limited parking. The parking lot is so small and there is parking reserved for specific businesses. You may have to do a few laps in the parking lot before you can find a spot.

The enchiladas were not enchiladas. They were just tortillas in red sauce. My kids wouldn’t eat them. Also the cheese sticks were nothing like the photo. Pretty disappointed. The loaded queso was cold but a bit of saving grace. Not enough to deserve a decent rating.

Great atmosphere, good food, welcoming staff!I loved the ambiance of this restaurant. From looking at the outside you wouldn’t think the inside would look as great as it did. It was stylish and cozy.They had upbeat music playing in the background and had the music video on the screen. It’s definitely a cool spot to chill with friends.The tacos were great and the sauces on the side were very flavorful.As we walked in, each staff member greeted us with a warm welcome.We’ll definitely consider visiting again.

It has been a while since we had been to this specific location, but unfortunately the service has deteriorated. We came specifically for the Margaritas and unfortunately they were very watered down. Just because you have happy hour doesn’t mean you have the right to dilute the drinks. That’s complete bait and switch. Second, there was an automatic 25% “gratuity” added to our bill for two people. They said it was due to Covid? People using the Covid as an excuse to charge you more? Very unethical. Very disproportionated in what this place has become! Won’t be back.

Everytime Ive been to Tacos y Tortas, Ive always left with a happy experience. Parking is usually not an issue. The food is great. The service is friendly. Did I mention the food is really good?The chips are the thing. Whatever you get, you cant go wrong because the chips and salsa will give away the food experience everytime.I had a gordita, only one though, because Im still trying to get rid of the covid 20 (lbs). It was a really well put together and flavor packed gordita.

The Westgreen location never has orders ready for pick up on time for Door Dash Customers. If you receive your food and its cold, its because the person delivering your food left because they waited up to 20 mins after the pick up time on your food and another driver had to be sent. This is my biggest problem with this restaurant.

I visited for the 1st time this evening with my son & his fiancee. The atmosphere is casual, the staff and service are outstanding (and this was on a Saturday night!!). The Margaritas are SUPERB and very fairly priced. The food is delicious; the menu is interesting, unique dishes + the standard Tex-Mex that we all love. We will visit again and again.

Some of the best margaritas on the west side of Houston. Happy hour is awesome and the prices are unbeatable. Take time and try their chicken quesadilla as well as their Al pastor tacos. I have to admit - the closest to authentic Mexico flavor. The only negative is parking is hell and seating is limited.

Awesome food and great Vibe on Saturday evening. They use to have live DJ but since Covid I have not seen DJ, but still my go to place for one of the best Taco places.

Cooks should be better the one west of that one 7 miles away blows it away same place way better

Tacos! Ok, their tacos are good here. What isnt is their prices and parking lot situation. I mean, you could find tacos just as good for a fraction of what they charge here. Nonetheless, they are good. Maybe try the Katy Mills location, because your chances of finding parking are probably better.

This is a perfect example of a restaurant claiming to be Mexican when they cannot even get the ingridients right. Not to mention they overcharge on everything. The tacos are probably the worst I have ever tasted. Shredded pork with red salsa and canned pineapple are not al pastor tacos. The nachos with fajita appetizer were stale tortilla chips with liquid cheese and maybe 3 strips of fajita. The service also needs some improvement.

Ordered from here last night after the recommendations of many people. Told them the order was for people that cant have dairy. Told them no cheese or any dairy products on the tacos and guacamole. When I brought the food home everything was covered in cheese. Had to throw everything out. Will never go again. Total waste of money!

Atmosphere is good. Good music. Service is good. Food is good. 8/10 Margaritas are delicioso. It is Family friendly. Food is a little overpriced in my opinion, but it’s a good place to hang out.

Tacos were amazing!! The first margarita I had to send back as it wasn’t frozen but the second one was delicious (not strong though). I will definitely go back just for the tacos!

This place is okay, but their waitress don’t know how to treat customers. They believed what they want, but they do not understand how to treat a customer. I just had a waitress who was rude and didn’t know what “gratitude” means on the ticket. I know what gratitude means and I explained it to her but she was really rude and didn’t know the correct way to explain it. Please trained your employees how to deal with problems like this.The place is good, but the people who works there have to get a little of customer service training. And I am telling you this because I worked on that field before.

The food was AMAZING here. We showed up around 10 after a party and ordered tacos and tortas (a given). The food was fresh and hot and blew us away. We asked for flan to go and just ate some. Best flan Ive ever eaten from a restaurant. Not too sweet and awesome texture. Were DEFINITELY coming back here next time we visit Houston.

I was there a week ago and will NEVER go back. All of our food was extremely cold the rice, bean, flautas, we also order a Torta which was also cold and the enchiladas verdes. I returned the flautas but my husband doesn’t like to complaint so he took two bites of his food. Worst $60 dollars ever spent!!! Very disappointed!!!

There was no wait when we went on a Sunday evening. This was probably because there were no drink specials. We ordered 2 margaritas at 10 bucks each and they came in the smallest glasses we had ever seen. The taco plates are 12 dollars and come 5 street tacos to a plate. So 2 margaritas and 2 plates of tacos 44 bucks. I am on the fence.

You would think that they would appreciate business during this pandemic, and put out the best quality food possible. Nope. I got a torta from there, and theres no beans in it, even though its advertised. Its cold, and the sandwich is basically FLAT barely any meat. Theres more onions than there is meat. The meat is dry and bland as well. Other places (taqueria Cancun) for example sell tortas for HALF THE PRICE and are packed with meat!!! This is my first time eating here, and it will be the last. This food is too easy to make so its obvious they just dont care about the product they put out .

Food was amazing, but the Venezuelan that was our waiter was HORRIBLE. As other reviews have mentioned, she didnt smile ONCE. Seriously, why is she still there? Maybe the wife of the owner? If so, please dont let her work there. This will ultimately affect your business, and she clearly doesnt want to be there. She has that typical attitude implying shes too good for that job, which she clearly isnt. Please, please, please get rid of her!!! Your food is too good, but the service ruins it all. Not once were we even asked if we were okay. Horrible.

I didnt even make it in, do to the owner parking in a non parking space wish was made for the purpose of handicap ramp wish I cannot open because of the owner car was park there and he wasnt there to move the car, I have to call the cops to come in and resolve this matter, again very disappointed of the owner no to have respect for handicap.Of course we didnt come in after works, we dont feel to be supported of this can of disrespectful matters.

My co-workers and I come here on occasion and the food is great! I have also visited here during events or shows and place gets packed!Customer service depends on who you get. I have never have a bad experience but my co-workers have said otherwise. Kevin was a great server.

This place is hit or miss. Ive had the pambazo on two occasions, the first time it was good and the second time it was trash. same goes for the cochinita pibil and charro beans. I want to be fair, but their inconsistency in quality and flavor is hard to overlook. I give them 3 stars as the drinks and service has been constantly good.

One star because the company I came in with was good. Hands down the worst place I have ever eaten at. The bartender argued with me for what seemed an hour about me being rude for telling her that the managers opinion didnt matter to me, the drink was disgusting. I have come here many other times before and the food was meh, the staff was meh, other than that meh. Ill never come here again, not even a manager came to stop her from her ranting on and on. All the employees including the manager stood around watching this bartender argue and elevate her voice. Bye Adrians

The food is terrific. Service was good. Love the tacos and gorditas. Havent tried anything else here but so far I am very satisfied. Its a little higher price point than other restaurants near by only because its a la cart. You order the tacos then add on beans or anything else you want for a small fee. They do have online ordering and lunch specials.

We had a great lunch! We had pastor and carne asada tacos and they were delicious! The service was great and we were attended too with a smile and efficiency! We will definitely go back and recommend others to try the street tacos!

I usually like this place but I went yesterday (Saturday) and a couple of friends and I ordered the Adrian Margaritas before 11p and it says on the menu that those margaritas are $5.00 between 9p-11p. So we ordered them and as soon as she brought them, we ordered more so we could beat the time since it was about to end. The waiter says let me go ask if I can do that. She comes back and says oh it is Saturday and we do not have that special going on. I told her that it is on the menu and instead of telling me that first she went ahead and told the bartender to make those margaritas not knowing if I was going to want them or not anymore. She asked me what did I want to do and I said in that case I will not get them. Then she said well he already made them leaving me with only the option to buy them. Why would you even ask me what I wanted to do then? The waiter was dumb and she should have honored the price because it was on the menu. I know it is just a couple of dollars but that was horrible customer service. My advice: make a new menu!

I came here during my lunch hour, the service was quick and the tacos were delicious. I highly recommend it. Best part is that they have a full bar. I drank a tamarindo but Im looking forward to eating dinner here to try the michelada. Cheers!

I ordered a torta and a quesadilla plate through uber eats.The torta is absolutely inedible, meat is dry and who knows what kind of meat that was, my dog wont even eat it.. you are a Mexican restaurant yet you dont know the right bread to use for a torta, that was definitely not the right bread. My quesadilla plate I was extremely disappointed with, I guess I paid $13.50 for a plain nasty cheese quesadilla no meat, the rice was completely tasteless. I called to ask about my quesadilla plate because on the website it says it comes with tacos. The lady that answered the phone was unbelievably rude and barely spoke english so it was almost impossible to understand but even then she wouldnt have been of no help at all anyways, she has absolutely no idea about the concept of costumer service. Will never make this mistake again.

I love coming here to eat! They make delicious food and have a great group of people working here. The owners are wonderful. I get the Tacos Adrian, and man, they are so delicious!

Service is usually very good. We have the queso with meat and the Adrian Super Tacos. (Street Tacos) We also like the quesadilla plate. My kids love the trashy tacos (flaming hot Cheetos and queso). Definitely recommend.

Food is pretty good. We been here a few times and never had a disappointment. A big fan of their mix selection of micheladas. DJ on Fridays and a band or comedy on Saturday just depends. I recommend the torta jalapeno and tacos cachetada.

They have happy hour almost all day during the weekday! They always have fresh chips and salsa. Their cecina tacos are my go to order with some tequenos. Only thing that sucks is that they charge almost $2 just to add cheese to 5 little tacos, which is about the same price as a margarita during happy hour.

Best tacos Ive had in Houston. Maybe Texas. Some of the servers dont speak English too well, but its not a problem at all since some of the servers speak great English. However, basic Spanish helps tremendously. Super Adrian tacos and the charro beans are amazing. The interior has improved greatly since they first opened. Favorite Mexican restaurant in Katy, maybe Houston! Margaritas are good too. Prices are fair.

I love the music and atmosphere I just think that their food is okay. When it first opened we went often because it was just so good. Now, the food is just cold and I feel that you could go to a taco stand and get the same kind of food for half the price. Also, beware of parking. It is so limited you should really be concerned about someone being able to hit your car.

Great food and drinks, but service is not good our waitress did not ask us if we where doing ok during our time there only when she brought our food. Didnt check on us she was talking sitting at another table with other staff mostly on the cell phones. When we were ready to go we stayed there waiting for our check. My husband had to get up to see if someone noticed us. Our waitress saw him stood up and brought the check. We probably could have easily walked out and no one would have noticed. Thats how distracted they were. Again great food but very poor customer service.

Price online for caprichos tacos says 7.24 I call in and order it and they tried to charge me 11.50 for the same thing.. I showed her the online price and she told me to order online to get that price.. really?! Let’s not waste both of our time and just discount it and change your website.. poor customer service.

Food was great service was horrible. Our waitress spent more time sitting down, talking to the other waitresses then providing service. Did not receive our food, until we asked for. And when we did she had the nerve to slam our plates down. When I started going her two years ago, lunch time on a Friday was always packed. After the service we received today, I see why the restaurant was darn near empty. My advice to the owner, fire your entire staff and hire people who want to work. Oh yeah its very unprofessional, to see waitress on their phones while they have people waiting for service.

Taco stand or dance club?? Ive been here for lunch a few times and it was pretty good. We stopped by on a Friday night to grab some tacos after a movie. The music was bumping, the lights were nearly out and Disco balls & lasers were going to town. We just wanted some tacos. Not a bad place, just know what youre in for.

We just spend 82.09, we got there at 11:30 they take off the music at 12:00 am they close at 2:00 they close cuz the manager said wasn’t enough people there. Very fresh Mexican food the feel of homemade. Reminds me of Mexican restaurant I ate in Tijuana Mexico back when I was in the Marine Corps many years ago.

This is cantina, or sports bar. Not a restaurant and certainly not Mexican food. You would do better to eat at a Mexican meat market. Save your money, Katy has much more to offer.

The food was decent but not for the price. Unfortunately I got a new credit card and had barely used it. I payed for my food and (this could be a coincidence) they took awhile to give me back my card. The next day which is today 1-8-19 I woke up with a very expensive fraudulent transaction on my account. Again not saying it was because this place did anything just saying please be careful.

Meat was VERY much burnt, when I told the waitress if she could exchange them because the meat was mixed in between burnt and somewhat cooked well .. she explained there was nothing wrong w/ the food and that’s how they always serve it and have never gotten a complain and if I wanted a new plate I had to pay again. Not going there again.
