Great place good country music and nice people great dance floor, best bartenders

FANTASTIC and FUN VENUE! We will be back! There was PLENTY of room to dance, hang, talk and play! Mo has quite a place here. If you havent been, GO! Mos Place hosted the Texas Best Music Fest and they pulled it off without a hitch!

One star plain and simple no explanation .. must be removed from Katy

Pros: Nice. Roomy. Separate bathrooms meaning men along one wall and ladies in a different wall. Stocked bathrooms - havent run out of toilet paperCons: no military discount. $8 cover. $5.25 beers (Smirnoff) by 1am all the tables are full of empty bottles and glasses.

Mo is awesome Kenny Cooper was amazing entertainment. Food was great had the sliders highly recommend.

Great place to get down and get jiggy. Playing pool is real laid back too. People are very polite and willing to play pool with you. Theyre not rude about it. You make bar buddies.

Highly recommended! Great looking group of staff members, reasonably price and overall good experience ! Everyone that works there is very nice to their customers, which is very important! I would give this place a 10 star but there’s only five!

Place is a joke. They want $25.00 after the concert is over for a cover charge. Must be struggling to stay afloat. Won’t be back here ever. Owners should be ashamed for charging that after a concert is already over.

Very good. Little far for me. But. It was not bad. Lots of age groups. Not just young clientele. Seemed to have a great booking agent.

Went to a crowded concert but the server kept up with drinks which were a bit strong but Im not complaining. The sound system was excellent. Decent dance floor. I like that they separated smoking to the back of the large bar. Does get a little crowded. We saw a Texas country artist and there seemed to be a lot of people there who would rather have been doing the cupid shuffle than enjoying the great show.

The place is great fun during a weekday. You would think it would be a slow day during a week day. But this place has a great atmosphere, food and drinks.

2 stars because of the good quality of artists they bring in. However, did not even make it in the door last night after being ushered out of the (not marked at all) valet only parking. With as little parking available they choose to reserve so much for valet only and then expect you to pay cover, drinks, etc... Seemed very greedy and off putting and hope the day care next door is reaping some of the profits of their parking lot being reserved after their operating hours.

Mos Place is great! My wife and I go there often to dance to Chris Salinas. Drinks are usually strong, which I like. However, several times Ive gotten glasses that were not rinsed well. After a long effort, they have finally gotten the smoke out of the non-smoking section.

Walked in and greeted like family. atmosphere was amazing and service super fast and friendly .Cant wait to go back

I have always enjoyed Mos Place for the amazing music and the fun environment. The staff is friendly and the drink prices are reasonable. I had the pleasure of meeting Mo during our last visit and he went out of his way to accommodate us. The table behind us were smoking excessively so we requested to be moved to a non-smoking area (if possible) and Mo didnt hesitate to accommodate. A++ on Management Service. Where the star fell of though is the waiter service. We received drinks twice within a reasonable time, but didnt see our waitress in 1.5 hours before I decided to close out at the bar and leave. I would return for the music, but the bar in general became excessively smoky at the end of the night, and this would convince me enough to stay away. AMAZING owner, sub-par waiting service, and too smoky for my taste. Recommend you at least give it a try to form your own opinion.

My buddy owns taco stand they allow him to bend in front of their door. Mos is a very cool place mix of live music,country & some modern day hits. Great staff always something going on here.

Definitely the best country bar Ive ever been to in Houston! Awesome sound system, great live bands. Im not a smoker, but I think that its awesome that they allow smoking in certain sections because freedom.

Wow, Dorothy, in Kansas! If you get a chance to visit, dont miss Mos. The beer is superb - sophisticated and ever-so-local, with seven choices, each deliciously different. My taste is the darker beers but among nine of us we had a flight and several varieties. Best of all, the food is great - the hand cut fries were PERFECT. This may be rural western Kansas, but Mos measures up to the best.

Love the concerts there, mo came around welcoming people n was very pleasant. seen joe nichols there 3xs lol.

Needs to go non smoking. They claim no smoking at dance floor, but I almost ran into a few cigarettes hanging over the bar around the dance floor. Even then, you can still smell the smoke. Always had to put my clothes immediately in the wash and shower when I got home. Gross.

I like the place, but I dont like all of the smoke. The good: Mos Place has good entertainment, two dance floors, quick bartenders, its in Katy and it doesnt charge for water (like Midnight Rodeo). The bad: smoking is allowed (although theres a smoke free area, which helps some).

WORKED HERE FOR 10 YEARS AND WILL ALWAYS CHERISH THE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND NOW HUSBAND I HAVE MET WHEN HAVING A GOOD TIME AT MOS. THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY AND THE CONCERT AND LIVE MUSIC IS LIKE NOWHERE ELSE.

Suggested by my client, has a country low key Texas vibe playing country music. Encompassed mainly by friendly locals in Katy. Will definitely come back if Im around

It was a good place, however, things have changed. The alcohol in the drinks tastes weird. I have was a bartender, male stripper, know all about the night life. The bartenders that were there before were the best. Now, you cant find them. Lousy service. I ordered a long island ice tea, and I got some small drink that I couldnt tell you what was in it. The bartenders there now arent good, just rookies. Crowd is young and out of place, no problem. It used to be the best place in town, like family. Its just another bad bar on Mason, DONT WAIST YOUR TIME GOING THERE.

The owner and his sons are extremely nice and the place is extremely fun and good people there. I love it there. Thank you Mo for being a super cool nice person. Best place to have a good time in Katy.

Went for a concert that started 2 hours after the time on the ticket. Very small dance floor near stage area. Up side - decent drinks and service.

Great country and western bar. That has good live country and western bands.

Best place for concerts! Many artists perform here. Dieting the week it has more of a small town atmosphere and karaoke nights. If you visit katy, you should pout this on your to-do list!

Nice place with a pleasant staff. Good sound. Loses stars for smoking in non-smoking areas, poor beer selection, and extremely stale Shiner Bock and Dos Equis.

Had never been here until I came to see Clay Walker. Was a great night and met lots of great people.

Great place to take your partner. Three dance floors. Country, rock music. Four bars that are crowded. Bathrooms are clean and Mo is always greeting you.

Mos Place is a great place to have drinks and/or order food from their grill. They also have live country music every night. Sometimes there is a cover to get in to hear the live music. I love meeting friends here!!

Beware they will tow your car 300 fine for the night nothing but old ladies

Heard so much hype we decided to go but were disappointed:Cons:parking is limited, 6.00 to valet and 20.00 to VIP park. If you try to park other places there are two trucks, looking like vultures waiting to hook your car. Valet guy hit another car with ours and guy mouthed off to his boss after he parked for us - unprofessional and now we got bumper damages on a brand new EscaladeCover charge of 10 a person is ridiculous, george strait tribute band was terrible - they should have paid us to listenRude and arrogant county deputies working part time at the door and outsideIf you want lung cancer and smell horrible when you leave then go enjoy - was as bad as a bingo barn - definitely not a fanProsDrinks were not Houston priced and were decently pricedGreat place for the locals - appears to be tons of regularsDont think we would ever return unfortunately

Called to ask a couple of questions before I took a group out there for the first time. The lady on the phone was rude and dismissive. Total buzz kill. I’ll take my business where it might be more appreciated.

Mos used to be a great place but it has changed. The crowd is much younger now and they seem to like to fight.Ive been told from a few different women that they believe something was slipped into their drinks that caused them to have to be helped out of the bar and driven home. These ladies are not heavy drinkers either.The DJ is rude and only plays what he wants to hear. I have asked him numerous times to play different songs and he says the band will play it or he says no because hes tired of hearing it.Hopefully over time Mos will turn back around because it sure used to be fun with great entertainment.

Lively festive night club to have good drinks, listen good live rock bands, dance, and have a good time. Friendly, respectful athmosphere. Lot of fun. Room for improvement: no place to park your car. You will have to use Valet parking. You will also pay for admision. Drinks reasonably priced

I have never been so disrespected in my life. An employee laid his hands on me in a very inappropriate manor. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was charged twice for the same cheque and it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get my money back. I called them 100 times - they just ignore you. I have to raise dispute with my bank. Be aware!

Hands down, my favorite in all of Katy. Music, dancing, games, food...all that, and a bag of chips. No food Sunday. Getty up!PS- Pay close attention to the photo...I laughed until I cried when I saw this.

Very popular place in Katy. Always a good crowd and good entertainment on weekends.Its smokey, fair warning, so if you dont like that then dont go.If you like drinkin a cold one with friends then cmon.

They charged my card multiple times when we only had ONE round!! Be very careful, and only go with cash! Shame, because other than being STOLEN from, we had a pretty good night.

Dancing in MOs with the wife and rushed out by cops who threatened intoxication in a public place resulting in an arm injury. No threaten of violence to others and gung ho approach by sheriffs on the door which will result in legal suit.

We went to mos February. The next Morning our card was charged almost 300.00, and we only spent $120. Then we think it will be safe going if we have cash, that wasnt the problem this time the problem was their vallet said they were full, and told us to park in the parking lot next to childrens cove, where we got towed!! Cost us another 208 dollars!!! Will never go to mos ever again!! I advice talk shouldnt either! Horrible staff!

This was my first and last time drinks are terrible the people who cook there overheard one of the guys saying that be ejaculate into someone burger and service it to hin because he gave that waitressing attitude. When I approached the owner himself mr. So called mo he told me that I was crazy and that I must of over drink and I take that very offensively and I told him theres no way anyone could get drunk off of his so called liquor. He serves that is completely watered down alcohol and way overpriced the cover charge for the concert that night was completely overcharged the only good thing about that night was is that I got a very good reading psychic she was the only sweet person that was there that night from a very special lady that was there that night.the place was very over crowded the valley people I took some loose money that Ive had it was some Beltway money some coins and some dollars that I had cuz I live off of the Beltway and they took that. Oh and I forgot to mention how dirty and filthy where the bathrooms I didnt even use it and it was cockroaches everywhere if you ask me to sleeping to be completely shut down

Smoking only section is a joke . Its a bar and you should be able to smoke everywhere inside unless they are going to put up a wall . The smoke still carries throughout the building.

Classic example of dive bar. Had some good times here years ago, but its gone down hill from there.

Fun place, always packed.

First time here and I will not be going back. There is not enough parking if they were at half capacity and their valet parking is overpriced. There were so many people packed in, getting drinks from the bar was difficult. It is not a good concert venue if the house is packed.
