New paved RV Park. Loved that everything was clean and new. Owner seemed very nice. We used the free laundry room. The internet was not reliable at all. A little pricy too. But, it is a quite nice place to stay. I would stay here again for sure! Would have been a five star if internet worked.
Conveniently located south of town, just off highway 93 at the first traffic circle on the 93 bypass. These are not pull-through spaces, but getting in and out is relatively painless. The paved spaces are wide and there is also plenty of grass between you and your neighbors. All sites are full hookup and have a picnic table and fire ring. There are also several shower & bathroom facilities spread across the site. Spaces on the east side are against an industrial area where log homes are built, but many do have a nice view of the Swan Range to the east & Whitefish Mountain to the north. Spaces on the west side are a against open parkland, and cost a few dollars more. There is some highway noise from highway 93 about 1,500 feet to the east, but it largely disappears after 9. There is direct access to the bike path that run up and down the valley. We easily booked online where we were able to select our spot, which was easy to find upon arrival. Andy, the owner, greeted us after we had backed into our spot and was very welcoming. We hope he does well with his endevour.Montana Basecamp does cost a bit more than most of the local alternatives, but if you are looking for more space, privacy, quietness and a nice view, as well as direct access to the bike path, it may make the difference.
Our family really enjoyed our time at this brand new RV Park on 50 acres! We were immediately greeted by, Andy, the park owner. He was very attentive to our needs and takes pride in his RV park. All sites are long, paved, and level with grassy spaces between each site. Beautiful views of sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed walking, running and biking daily on the paved bike trail that surrounds the park. The RV park is at a great location right off 93. In the valley, you feel secluded from the city, but stores are still close enough for convenience. The park is located near some quaint towns (Whitefish and Big Fork) with great dining, entertainment, and views. We enjoyed spending time in Glacier National Park(30 to 40 min drive) and returning to the RV park for a quiet dinner, and evening by our camp fire. The RV property is just as beautiful as it looks online. It is a very clean, comfortable, and safe environment. We hope to return in the future!
A GREAT new RV park in the area thats close to Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park and of course Kalispell. Lots of thought went into the design of this campground from the spacious, well-kept sites to the wide turn around at the end of the park. Washers and dryers are provided free of charge and each site has their own fire pit with beautiful views on either side of the park. There is a walking/biking trail adjacent to the park that goes for miles or has a 1.25 mile loop around the park. Andy is very welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed our first week so much that we extended another week. Well be back again and again. Thanks Andy and family! Check out my photos of our daily view. Amazing!
Nice RV park. Very dog friendly. Being right off hwy 93 it is very Convenient to everything in the valley.
Montana Base Camp RV Park is thee place to enjoy the Montana experience! Surrounded by beautiful mountains youll enjoy these very spacious RV sites. Each site has its own lawn, fire ring and picnic table along with some of the easiest hook ups your likely to ever find. The pads are paved, level and even the biggest rigs will find it easy to get in. The restrooms and laundry are first class and the owner is easy to work with. Aside from the spectacular scenery you find a very nice walking/biking trail that surrounds the park. Everything youre likely to need is nearby including Kalispells largest RV dealer, grocery stores, fuel and propane, not to mention Glacier National Park are all easy to access from Montana Base Camp RV Park. If I could give them 6 stars I would! Enjoy your stay!
This new RV parks brand spanking new, clean, and well-run. Its also within a short drive to anything you could ever want to do in Northern Montana—Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Big Fork, and a million other lakes, mountains, and scenic trails. We highly recommend staying at Montana Basecamp!
What great spot! Very close to a lot of activities to do (Glacier, Whitefish, Flathead Lake). Andy (the owner) was awesome! He made us feel welcome and checked in on us to make sure were were all good! The vision for the expansion sounds so cool and we cannot wait to come back in the future! Also, an RV sales and service place is right across the highway if needed! Thanks again Andy for your amazing customer service! It meant a lot to us!
Spent 8 evenings here while exploring the area, truly using this campground as our basecamp. Large sites, well laid out. Pleasant views with nice sunsets. Free laundry a plus, however can get busy and you need patience. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Minor traffic noise, but easy in and easy out. If in area again we will return.
Brand new and loved it. We used the laundry facilities and everything in the RV park is clean. Close to the freeway so it was easy to leave and come back. Easy to drive in and back up in to our site. Andy was easy to get ahold of and help us with many questions. Look forward to coming back.
Very nice park. We came from Georgia and so glad we picked Montana Basecamp. It is conveniently located near Kalispell for our groceries and supplies. We also like the short drive to the Western Entrance to Glacier National Park, several hiking paths with awesome views. Our sunset views at the Basecamp are out of this world, been taking pictures every night. The owner Andy goes out of his way to satisfy us. Will come back.
This property is brand new, excellent location, beautiful views. I enjoyed all my time here and the owner and his family were so helpful and informative. I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again!
The owner of this park was an absolute creep. He is very threatening if you’re an outsider, not welcoming at all. Be careful if you don’t fit the typical RV owner stereotype. Literally avoid this place at all cost and make sure you never let your kids near this creepy and rude owner. He ruined my experience completely and is not a genuine person, other places deserve your time and money more.
Montana Basecamp is just that, the perfect basecamp for exploring the Flathead Valley, Glacier NP and the rest of the surrounding area. The park is brand new with modern amenities, long paved sites, plush grass yards and stunning views in all directions. It is conveniently located right next to the Great Northern Historical Bike Trail and just minutes from downtown Kalispell, while still feeling worlds away. The online reservation system is easy to use, but the owner, Andy was readily accessible during our stay as well. We initially booked a one night stay (online), but added additional nights (by phone) because we were so impressed with the park and Andy’s hospitality. He has clearly pulled out all the stops in creating a top notch RV Resort and we will not hesitate to return the next time we’re in the area.
Andrew (The owner) has absolutely no idea what he is doing!! He charges WAY TO MUCH do only have free laundryand that said each laundry room has one washer and one dryer and all you can smell is sewer gases. You cant count on the wifi.. it turns off more than its on...However the sites are level, The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. We have stayed at places like this before ... for half the price he charged us... but, he can get away with it due to being so close to Glacier National Parks (west) entrance. Stay here only if its your last resort!
This lush property. Is 50 acres of incredible land. On the corner of the turn pike and highway 93. I highly recommend this rv resort. It is very nice with amazing bathrooms and great new laundry buildings (3). I stayed with my sister and dog and they were very pet friendly. I am sure to return and will have many years to come. Also the owner of Montana Basecamp is very nice and friendly so is his family.
Clean, paved, large spots in a very convenient location. Will certainly stay here again when in the area.
This place is so cute, new, clean, cozy! Very clean laundry & bathrooms. GREAT location, close to town but not in town. The RV spaces are perfect! also... The owner and camp host Andy is the nicest person. I would highly recommend Montana Basecamp for your stay when visiting NW MT!
New clean park with good internet. Andy was very helpful. Price was high given laundry and showers were not available.
Great Campground. Owners are super nice and accommodating. Grounds are clean, spots are large. Great area with a nice walk path.
What can I say, this campground was amazing. The owner Andy made you feel welcomed and was always there to answer any questions that I had.Great location, basically centered in the middle of everything. And there is so much to do there that being centrally located was great. No more than 1 hour in any direction to all the parks (local, national), lakes and towns. As for cellphone reception, Kalispell in general is spotty. So having full reception was impossible. The only good thing is that the internet was good for checking email and some light work. Dont expect to be stream videos or Netfix on it (especially at night when the campground is full). We will definitely be going back!!!!
I loved my 3 day visit. it was very nice and the owner was so kind and helpful. he said that the land was a park but not me it was a resort! highly recommended
The owner, Andy, is friendly and helpful. He really cares about the campers and the park. The park itself has the basic amenities like bathhouse and laundry - but it is a base camp, there isnt a playground or pool. But, you arent more than an hour from many of the must see sites in Montana. The park is actually big-rig friendly. The sites are long enough for our 45 Class A, the spots are paved and level. The park has solid WiFi, with enough bandwidth to stream your shows without issue. Ive not even noticed any road noise from HWY 93. The town of Kalispell, MT has just about every major retail shop you might need. We have been full-time RVers for over 12 years and we are always on the look-out for great places to stay and Montana Basecamp is one of those parks. It is a new park but getting busy, so you may want to make reservations well in advanced!
What a great place. Great views, great accommodations, great service (Andy is “ON IT”). Everything is brand new. Easy access with spacious sites. We will be back to Kalispell!
After spending just under two weeks at Montana Basecamp, I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience. From making the reservation to adding additional time, Andy, the owner, was welcoming and very helpful. He provided helpful insight into local attractions and outstanding dining in the area.Ideally located between Bigfork and Kalispell, Montana Basecamp exceeded our expectations during our entire stay. The park has only been open for about a year, and this is their first season, but it has nice amenities like free laundry and exceptionally reliable and fast wi-fi internet. Something lesser facilities could take a lesson on.Andy and his family are building what I’m sure will become Montana’s premier motor coach resort, and perhaps one of the very best in the northwest! We’re looking forward to watching his progress and returning for an extended stay next year.
Nice park but its to expensive. The park is charging Glacier National park prices yet theyre 45 minutes away.
We accidentally took the wrong turn on a roundabout and showed up at this RV lot. What a terrible experience. The owner saw us filling up a jug of water with a ground water pump and threatened to use guns on us. I would not recommend this area for families.
The staff was very friendly and the facility was beautiful.
Stayed for a month last summer..Excellent facility and ownership..Andy is the best, spaces are large and close to everything in Kalispell and Flathead Lake ...I cant wait to get back !!!!
I liked this place, peaceful.
Montana Basecamp is such a nice resort! Highly recommended.
Excellent new RV Park in Kalispell, Montana. Great location with easy access to downtown, bike paths, Flathead Lake, and Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend staying here!
This rv park is brand new! The spaces are huge and theres a good amount of grass between each paved site. The hookups are conveniently placed and washers/dryers are included with your site rent. The wifi is strong with lots of bandwidth. The park is located on the south side of Kalispell and while its convenient to 93 Alternate, theres almost no road noise in the evenings. Its also located right on a paved bike trail that connects with a historic rails to trails. Good views of the mountains are a plus.
Great RV Park!
