Flowy areas with nice climbs to get your heart pumping. SWMMBA does a fantastic job at keeping this trail nice. This is a directional trail based on day but both ways are equally great. Definitely recommend.
Like an outdoor roller coaster! With pedaling!! Great maintained trails,.
Fast, technical trail with awesome downhills. Lots of fun.
This is a great mtb tail. Good flow. Tight turns. Parking is $5 per day.
Very nice place to hike in the fall. Mountain bike routes and hiking routes are separate so hiking isnt interupted by bikes zooming by. Highly recommended.
Like a roller coaster! Enough climbing to keep you humble and plenty of twisty turny downhill to make you smile. One lap is never enough.
Hot today, great time as always!
Excellent mix of climbs and fast downhills. No shortage of burms and table tops...
This is a very fun and well designed trail. The train goes is both directions depending on the day of the week. I prefer T,Thu,Sat because I enjoy not climbing as much . Its $5 a day to ride (or $25 annually) .Not too technical, but the flow of the trail will test your ability. Very fun.
Top five in the state. Love this trail! Ripping downhills and flowing singletrack.
Lots of SPH: Smiles Per Hour. The Maple Hill Trail is at Markin Glen County Park - West Side. This is a fun, modern, flow style trail with banked turns, whoop-de-doos, tabletops, well designed switchback climbs, mature shade forest, on 2-foot wide hardpacked singletrack. The designers packed the miles in a small space with good variety, so that it doesnt feel like riding back and forth redundantly in a small spaghetti bowl. The parking lot has a pit toilet, bike repair stand, picnic shelter, close access to Kalamazoo, and a lake to jump in across the street at Markin Glen Parks east side (camping available there, too).Thrill seekers can ride the trail hard and get air, XC riders can crank up the heart rate, intermediate riders can practice skills yet keep both wheels on the ground over the humps, while beginner riders can get a taste for trail riding in the low land trail (low trail can be wet after a rain) while riding around the larger hump obstacles on the hill side trail as the bigger humps have side bi-pass trails. Well marked, easy to follow trail, easy access to the parking lot via paved roads if you want to cut the ride short, do only part of the trail, or repeat a section.Rideable (depending on cyclists ability and skills) for cyclocross bikes, single speeds, full suspension, downhill bombers, fully rigid, hard tails, and BMX.
Shady and technical all in one. Nice switch backs u and down the hils
Really fun flow trail. Great for most skill levels
I had a great time walking around... So peaceful and happy.!!!!!^_^^_^. Meowza
Its freaking awesome!!!
Fast and fun trail. Just when you think you cant go any further the trail relents. A lot of different terrain, never a dull ride.
Best one in Michigan
Love these Mountain bike trails!
Good hiking, biking trails. Areas for picnics
Best trail in the Kalamazoo area, worth the 5$ daily pass, you can really hone fitness and skills here, because there are 2 lengthy climbs and 2 lengthy descents, changes direction depending on the day, but both directions are equally amazing. Jump trails (non-committal) and techy chunk. Shortish distance for the whole loop, so you can easily get multiple laps in and really practice and know the trail.
This is my favorite trail. Love the jumps and berms.
Great flow trail. Equally fun in both directions. Great for beginners and experts. all the big stuff has ride arounds, so nothing to be afraid of. I saw fat bikes, bmx, full suspension, hard tails and road bikes all on the trail today. Park admission is $5, and they do check.
A lot of fun for kids around 12
Great trail, love the downhills and fast banked turns. Great jumps as well.
Sweet ass flow trail, some big jumps, nice berms, and some tech but nothing crazy. The trail is about five miles in length and a blast to ride. This trail is bike only, and direction is based on day of the week.
First time to such an extreme course. Didnt know it was in my back yard. It is awesome!
This is a great trail! Looking forward to trying it in the snow!
Fantastic! Best flowing downhill sections Ive seen for west Michigan! 6 stars!
Great new trail, lots of climbing with some fun downhills and features!
Best trail within minutes of Kalamazoo, about 5 miles of flow trail.
Challenging but fun
Best in the state, hands down. The flow is really quite something.
Fun mountain bike ride and great workout
Fun and flowy.
Great local mountain trail
What an amazing treasure located close to downtown Kalamazoo.
Great ride. Fast with flow.
Awesome
Great trail for beginners and Intermediate riders.
Top notch single track.
Ok of the best mountain bike trails in southern Michigan.
Get here as often as possible. Always end up getting to confident and leaving with bruises though...
Good down and uphill trails
Really fun and not hard
