I cannot stress the love I have for this gym. Now reopened and allowing up to 25 occupants at a time just call ahead and schedule your climb quick and easy. They have always had fair prices with a wide selection of membership plans to fit anyones needs and finances. Gear rental is reasonable and can be included in the membership options. Lessons on belaying and lead climbing are available and safety is top priority. I have been climbing here on and off for the last 9 years and can honestly say I have never had a bad experience. I have brought a multitude of friends in and highly recommend this to anyone with any inclination to be active. There is a pressure free environment to learn, explore and exercise in. Around every corner there is another wall to climb and courses ranging from extreme novice to professional difficulties. You can climb specified routes or climb freely on all available rocks. This is truly a unique experience in kalamazoo and it always puts a smile on my face.

I went with a group of 5 and had a blast! At first I was afraid that it was going to be weird because we had an odd number of people. Totally not an issue! They even have areas where you dont have to have a partner. The staff is super chill and kind. If you havent tried rock climbing before, you would still feel comfortable here.

This is a hidden gem in Kalamazoo!! I am an avid climber and feel challenged and get a great workout every time I go. The environment is friendly enough for beginners too!! The staff is friendly and the training is thorough! Everyone should at least give it a try!

After living in Kalamazoo for a couple months, I decided to finally try rock climbing, as it is something i wanted to try for a long time. My first time lesson didnt take the full amount of time they suggest it might. I have joined their membership program and I go a few days a week. The hours are perfect where I can get out of work and then go climb for a couple hours when I decide. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new hobby.

I have absolutely always loved climbing. Anything, to the point of I would regularly not think through climbing any route. And now I have been going to this climbing gym and graciously have constantly been given very useful advice. I think about my climbing routes before I climb the route, so basically I have absolutely learned to not be such a fool, which I did not realize how foolish I was until I fell a few times. That is not to say that I don’t have fun anymore, because the reality of thinking is that I actually have more fun, because I am not worried about climbing or doing anything that might kill me, end my life physically wound me, and end my future fun activities. So basically I think more specifically about what would happen if an unexpected circumstance would regrettably take place and not allow me to have fun anymore.

Me and my bf went it today and we had a blast. I am so glad we had careful and proper instructions given before doing it on our own. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The drive is more than 1 hour from us but it was definitely worth it. We will for sure be coming back!!

We went last week as a group of newbies. Service was excellent. Training well laid out and laid back. Ive never been anywhere else to climb so maybe the training was standard. But, time time and attention Mike gave us was much appreciated. He set the stage to make the whole evening a good time.

My family goes to Climb Kalamazoo frequently and we love everything about it. It is clean, fun and the staff are top notch. I love that they focus on safety, yet offer tips to help newbie climbers like us to advance in our skills. We have had wonderful experiences and highly recommend it to all of our friends and family. It’s the total package: a great gym, awesome staff, clean facility providing fun and also challenging routes for all ages and skill levels.

Phil and his team are awesome! Had a great experience last week with some friends and my family. My kids loved it and apparently my 9 year old daughter is a natural rock climber?! Who knew?! The facility and courses are top notch. Their view on safety makes you feel comfortable knowing an establishment will take the time to do it right. They really need a salmon ladder though. At any rate this is a definite must experience in the area!

Went this past weekend with our Boy Scout Troop for a lock in. Us and the other Boy Scout Troop that was there had a great time. Great staff and facilities. Going to come back at some point for sure.

Had to take an hour long class on belaying and securing harnesses to even boulder or auto-belay. Those under 13 had to wait while those over 13 took the class to even boulder. It really killed our excitement and made us quite ready to leave as soon as we got climbing.

Owners take great care here. Safety is a number one priority. The course they have you take before you climb is easy and informative which leads to an amazing rock climbing experience.

Started my climbing here at Kalamazoo Climb and it has been great to learn from the staff and other climbers. The whole place has a good feel to it and everyone seems to enjoy helping each other out. Climbing during the week is a great workout and much more enjoyable than a regular gym. The gear selection is nice and I have purchased all of our families gear at Kalamazoo Climb because we get the personal recommendations from the staff who all are knowledgeable climbers. Love Kalamazoo Climb.

Great climbing spot! Affordable day rates and a chill staff. Lots of bouldering and top rope, and a little bit of lead climbing. Would recommend to a friend!

The staff is very nice if occasionally inattentive. The facility is great, the routes dont change too frequently which allows for multiple weeks of practice. This place lends itself well to beginner climbers, its not always crowded, and its always a ton of fun to climb there

This place is great! A true gem right in downtown Kalamazoo. Great for beginners and seasoned climbers alike. We have been there as part of a group and as individuals. If youre intimidated, just go there and check it out. They have a great orientation program that takes you through all of the steps. They have all the equipment to rent as well. Also, your pass is good for the entire day so you could climb and then go to lunch and come back all on one admission.

Brought our troop of boy scouts here for the scouting program lock-in and was impressed with 1) their focus on safety, 2) the quality of instruction for all levels, 3) the positive experience they created for our group... thank you!!

Great place for 10 to 13 year old group trips!

First off, just want to say that the bouldering here was really fun. Interesting, varied routes, particularly in the cave. Great use of their limited space. However, the initial registration and the exorbitant pricing for two first timers looking to boulder (50 dollars!) overshadowed the experience. Forcing every first timer to go through and pay extra for rope lessons, even when they are just looking to boulder, is downright silly, and left us with a bad taste in our mouths despite the great bouldering.

My wife and I decided to go on a date last night at Climb Kalamazoo and had a great time. The staff was friendly and professional and the facility is top notch. We will certainly be going back!

My three children ages 4, 7 and 10 attended Climb Kalamazoo Camp and LOVED IT!! The instructors were so amazing. I would highly recommend this camp for the Im so bored summer blues.

Fantastic place to climb, both ropes and bouldering. Friendly staff and clientèle make this a great place. The free cold water is a nice bonus!

It was great fun once I finally got to climb but the safety course that was supposed to take only 45 minutes took almost two hours because the person giving the class was also the only one watching the store. So by time I was allowed to climb, the friends I came with were already finished....very disappointing. Its nothing against the person giving the class, he was great but the store should have more than one person working so that doesnt happen.

We had an amazing time at Climb Kalamazoo! I brought my GS troop and their parents, and everyone left with a smile on their face! Wonderful experience for all ages!

When i went there I had so much fun the staff was great the walls where so much fun and the lesson was not boring it was a gun experience and I would definitely do it again in a heart beat
