It was pretty cool to see all the old mining tools and equipment! It was $5 admission and have different hours due to the virus (Friday to Monday 2-5) but it was really fun! You can learn a lot if you are into old mining technology and you can go up the path a little more to see a cool mining train. Worth the stop if you have a free hour or so. Also the staff lady was super nice and helpful as well. She was very conscious of others safety and comfort as well. Lovely place!

Preserved bit of history. A long but beautiful walk from town if you are up to it. You get a good picture of what it was like for the miners.

Quick walk through an old mining building with artifacts. $5 tix per person, but justifiable since it goes to a good cause.

Amazing slice of time

Really nice drive through the real parts of town! It takes you high up where you have great views and makes you feel like youre in the thick of nature. Not accessible for people who have difficulty walking, however, which was disappointing since I didnt get to share all the views and full experience with my 89-year old mom with whom I was travelling. I ended up taking lots of pictures for her to see, though and told her all about the equipment and experiences the miners had.

After a small hike there is a retired mine building filled with interesting equipment.

Different. Dont bring toddlers- too many safety issues. Not a handicap friendly location. More for able bodied adults.
