Great course! A little confusing for me because I was by myself and from out of town... But great course wish I could there play more and learn the holes. Ill be back someday!

Its a nice little get away & its just in the edge of Joplin.

Used to be a awesome 27 hole golf course with room to make it around 54 holes... room for 3 golf courses but instead we have 0. Now it is just a bunch of tee boxes and places where baskets used to sit. It is very clear that whoever was in charge of changing this course had no idea what they were doing. It has been over six months and the course is just getting worse. Put the baskets back up and let us play. What a joke.

This is an awesome spot to come hang out.

This was a great place to have a birthday party for our 1 year old grandson. The pavilion was roomy and clean. The playground equipment is great for a small group of children. Bathrooms are centrally located. There is also a nice disc golf course. And for those interested there is a Pokemon go pokey stop on the corner of the property.

Has potential to be a nice course. The grass needs to be mowed and the course signs needs to be fixed. Lots of holes don’t have signs so it is very confusing.

Fantastic Old Fashion Hayride event by Joplin Parks & Recreation. Many thanks to those who helped make the event amazing. Quite the crowd & all well managed with hayrides, movie, fires & food. Absolutely marvelous time had by all.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Joplin. Hopefully they get the trash under control but aside from that all I can say is breathtaking.

Great Park for travelers and locals alike. Great place to have a cookout with picnic tables grills and clean bathrooms. Park is well lit and is open to everyone 24 hours. Very clean with a playground for the children and plenty of open land to walk the dog or play more adult games. Not far is also a beautiful waterfall literally not more then a mile from the park. Its just overall been a very pleasent and blessed experience. Joplin has a gem here and I hope it stays this way for years to come. Already one of my favorite places to visit as I tour the USA.

This is a great park!!! I call it Joplins hidden gem!! There are great shade trees to relax under and comfy benches too!!!! There is a little kids area and big kids area for all sizes to enjoy playing but beware the parking area and drive separate the 2 so watch your little ones so they dont bolt across, and drivers please beware. It is also a great place to walk or run. There is a large covered pavilion with lots of picnic tables that would be great for any get-together. I did not drive down further into the park to see the other areas though. Lots and lots off open spaces for bubble blowing and flying kites!!! Kids also had their little bikes out there to practice riding and it was safe since it is not a high trafffic area. So load up your park day baskets and let your kiddos enjoy the great outdoors!!! Also, I like the fact that there are no large open bodies of water like a pond or lake....just for safety issue I have with little ones running free.

Usually decent I use the bathrooms to change into my swimming clothes when I go swimming in the creek

I love this disc golf course, I do.The fact that folks generally take care of their park, and the city has continued to invest in collab with players on things like expansion make this a great place to play. And there are a ton of players here, leagues..its a great little local culture... However... annually I feel like the gnat and tick population is getting worse. We hold pdga events here every year and I think we should get this addressed soon before it affects things like attendance or participation...this is just my humble opinion. By all means if youre in town stop in! 27, with word on the grapevine were expanding to 36! Several different ways to play the course and NO water hazards? Heck yes, its a good time! But uh...mind the bugs and come prepared with some protection. Found 5 about the size of a pen tip on us today just playing the back 9:/ been at home keenly inspecting every freckle, tickle and mole for the last half hour lol! #mcclellandsfun #gottheheebiejeebies

Love it but the water is clear and you can see broken beer bottles are in several areas in and around the water. BE SAFE! River shoes with thick soles if you or someone you love is stepping in the water here. Have fun!!

Beautiful place ...kinda hard to walk to the water with babies.

My favorite course. Some trees, some elevation change and open enough for this novice to seldom lose a disc here. They need to mow the grass much more often.

Fun times

In the past two years Ive become addicted to disc golf. I feel really fortunate the local City Parks & Rec Dept are so accommodating of our courses, especially McClelland Park, with its 27-hole permanent disc golf course. Concrete tee pads on every hole, as well as signage. Today I played in a group of 9 that included an 11-year-old that outthrew me on some shots! Fun for the whole family.

Good sized park with plenty of open space, childrens play areas, a couple of shelters, and a real nice 36 hole disc golf course

LOTS of mosquitoes, but otherwise a very nice park, where I met and adopted my dream puppy. ♡

I have played at a lot of different courses around the United States and McClelland is a gorgeous well laid out course with many large beautiful trees and Rolling Hills.

Beautiful place to kayak and hike

Joplin Missouri put on a movie in the park for kids and roasted hotdogs & smores with hot chocolate & a hayride it was awesome. Firetrucks were there the kids got to go inside they got stickers from the firemen.Joplin Missouri you really rock

Perfect for a day where your kids want to play outside but to dont want to deal with a crowd, better for younger kids under 12. Had several birthday parties here for my kids.

Its a nice quite park with a small area for the children to play. But it also has a frezzbee golf course as well, And if you drive just around the corner and East up the hill just a bit you will find Inspiration Point.. Their is a plack and it has history and information about the area on it I found it to be interesting. And it also has a great view for taking pictures or to perform small saremonies there...
