Kids always love it. But some people trash it up. We had to walk around and pick up empty soda bottles. Would love to see everyone do their part and pick up after themselves. Besides its for tge children.

Beautiful park and fun for the kids. Lots of fun things for our boys to climb on. Multiple options for younger and older kids. Beautiful gardens, pond, and memorial to the 2011 tornado. Lots of interesting information about the tornado, too.

Walking trail, pavilions, bathrooms, multiple playgrounds for the kids and lots of pokemon go stops and activity plus 2 gyms! Very beautiful memorials in regard to the tornado. There is also a very large water park that isnt too expensive! Plenty of fun for everyone.

Nice n quiet, walked my dog and he enjoyed it. Yes I picked up after him to keep it clean. Saw a few facemasks on the ground but really clean park.

Really did this park up nice. Two playgrounds for different ages. Nice paved walking trail with small walking bridge over fountain pools. Restrooms were clean. Pool shut down all summer for Covid19.

I visited the park with a native of Joplin who saw it for the first time as well; we were both in awe. What a stunning, peaceful place with incredible tributes to those whose lives were lost in the Joplin tornado. The designers did a great job of incorporating memory, peace and hope. Wonderful spaces to reflect, children to run and play and families to be filled with gratitude and hope for the future. It is a memorial so well done that you will leave uplifted and inspired. The photos capture only a small part of the park and dont include the wonderful play areas for children.

The scenery is amazing, they definitely keep up the gardening. Absolutely beautiful!

Its a fantastic park, walking in the morning time is amazing, seeing the fog coming up from the fountains, as you walk the trails and take in the scenery. Very well maintained, no trash or anything anywhere. I would give more stars if I could.

Good place to take the kiddos. Plenty of good quality playground equipment and a small koy pond.

This place is great. $4 for adults and I think $3 for kids. You can visits all 3 parks, all summer, for $140. We live 60 miles away and we visit 3 times a week, and enjoy visiting more than one park per day. This place is most fun for over 48 inches or very small baby/toddlers. They have a great baby section with a slide. For the 48 inchers or above, there is 5 slides and lily pads to run on. My daughter is 47 and 3/4 inch and is just at the age where she cant do much of anything but she loves to bring goggles and have an adventure underwater while her brother slides!!! There is a park next door to dry off, and parking that is shaded.

This park is clean. There are varied areas for different activities, such as picnics, walking, or playgrounds for toddlers to big kids. Pretty gardens and fountains are scattered about. A play village and basketball courts are included. Memorials to those lost in the tornado are also part of this lovely park. Highly recommend!

The Joplin tornado memorial is beautiful. There is also a wonderful play area for kids here.

It was great until the city of joplin workers came during lunch time, during this time of only getting together at a park, and kicked us out so they could repair some things. As if they didnt have other projects they could have gotten to.

We stop by this park to pay tribute and remember the lost from the tornado. It was it amazing and awe inspiring display. We are grateful for the 1st responders and lows that helped the lost and hurting during this time .this place is worth checking out. Besides the memorial the park also has a great park, walkway and picnic area.

That was a nice park. The Boomtown area appeared to have a homeless person living in it, but only his stuff was there, they were nowhere to be found. Theres plenty of parking and several play areas, all of which were well maintained.I will definitely bring my kids here again.

Very well design playground. Not only is an amazing playground but also you can feel and learn about what happened in the city. It was an emotional and peaceful place. My kids enjoyed the playground but also learned about the consequences of the tornado. People in the area are super friendly.

Honestly an ideal place to Pokemon Go and chill.

This park is a beautiful park and is always full of people. The community did a wonderful job of rebuilding the park. A section of the park pays tribute to those who lost their lives on the May 22, 2011 tornado and to the volunteers that came to help the community. Visitors and residents can take advantage of the community basketball court, two play areas and the aquatic center which is available for use in the summer months.

Beautiful park with a lot of information about the 2011 EF5 tornado that took so many lives and forever changed the lives and town of Joplin. Informative plaques, and beautiful dedications to the children, people, and volunteers affected by this tragic event. A wonderful place to learn and pay your respects.

My children love all the activities and public pool. Convenient location to our home. Butterfly garden is very well kept and peacefully serene.

Its a great place to meet up with family

I really liked this park because it seemed well kept up! The playground equipment was all in good shape and i really enjoyed the paths and the general atmosphere. Although we didnt use the waterpark side it looked really good so may have to go back and try it. My children really enjoyed it and I believe we will be back in the not so distant future.

Its clean, and relaxing. Has a park for kids across the street, pretty safe, and has other kids there.

Lots of different areas kids can play. Picnic tables for food, bathrooms were clean. You really do have to check the slides for heat- they get very hot and there wasnt running water in the bathrooms! Hard to wash hands or get a drink with no water. But overall a great park to hang, relax and have fun. Water park right next door, so, after running around on all the park equipment one can walk over and go for a cool swim! Very refreshing!

My wife was here as a volunteer after the tornado so we decided to visit the site and learn/reminisce. Beautiful park, very touching. I wouldve liked to have known more about the little fountains. Were they made from tornado debris?

Very nice park and memorial to Joplins tornado victims. Has a small water park also. Rubberized flooring on playground makes less worrisome play. Very clean and well groomed with nice restrooms.

The park in a whole is lovely but all 3 play grounds have such a huge age range between them. My sons to old for the smallest one and cant fully enjoy the largest one and the wooden one needs to be treated.

Had battery charge party between four different vehicles. Lol. Friendly people workn together. Always cool when a bad deal stays happy and pleasant.

Celebrated a birthday in the park last Saturday. Had a great time, despite that it was a little Breezy. I like the way the park is laid out. Shelters are near places for kids to play. I liked it that there was a water faucet near the shelter. All the kids at the party said they had a good time. Cunningham Park is a nice place to spend an afternoon.

What can someone say about a park? Its big, the grounds well taken care of, several cool playgrounds for kids. And the view of the sunset from here is beautiful.

An amazingly beautiful and touching memorial and tribute garden to mark the 2011 Joplin tornado. Sadly, it what you would expect to a relatively sacred place for the town, there are signs already of vandalism. Still a beautiful place to stop, learn, and reflect, as well to take your children to play.

A lovely park for all to enjoy. Carefully maintained and always a pleasure.

This place was a wonderful space for games. The just for gym is huge, the sheltered areas are perfect and the surrounding view is very pleasant.

Varietà things to do.

The kids love the playground but unfortunately it is not maintained well. There is usually trash everywhere, the equipment wood is damaged, and the pond is always green. Overall its frustrating to visit.
