The architecture of this old WPA bridge is spectacular. However the city is letting it fall in disrepair and is slowly falling apart it needs significant repairs to continue to be viable as a public attraction for the long-term.

Very scenic location

This is the old 86 highway bridge now used as a walkbridge to trail on southside and viewing area for Shoal Creek. Has benches and a kiosk with calendar and nature facts. Volunteers have planted and maintain nature gardens next to bridge. Wonderful place to spend time with friends and family. We bring our Grandkids here to hike and explore. It is a nice part of the Wildcat Park & Glades experience.

Beautiful location. Be cautions of the Rapids before the bridge if youre floating or kayaking in. They come up quick and can be difficult to navigate safely.
