It is ckean, the chairs are decent and dont squeak and have a variety if food and snacks. They also have an arcade upstairs you can access by elevator too. Though it is a bit in the more expensive side it is a while fun time you and others experience. But they have a great rewards program that make the prices not even a bother.

Went to see birds of prey in this theater. Last 3-4 theaters were more new style snd Im getting used to the reclining seats. You are not going to find reclining seats here but the old standard seating. I was surprised at just how large the main theater seats. The ticket price was high for I pay this price in the new age theaters. Wish I knew the movie Birds if Prey was terrible and could of picked a better one.

Watch movies here a lot. I wish they would honor promotions like the bigger cities and show more movies that usually only get shown in select theaters. Seating is comfortable, concessions could come down a little on prices...or ticket prices, as I think this would help draw in more customers.

Just saw Cats and loved it! Choreography and make-up were outstanding! Digital effects were awesome too. The seats in theater one at least have been redone, I think, they were comfortable to sit in. The dont recline, but they were more comfortable than before. We were in theater 4 yesterday and the seats were very uncomfortable. It is hit and miss with this theater. It really needs an update to reclining seats. A dining theater would be great too!

Overall nice experience. Seats were good, with a steep seating arrangement for good viewing. Ability to pick assigned seats was nice. However, someone was in one of ours. Luckily the theatre wasnt very full. The BAD: Popcorn was old and stale. We attended the first showing off the day so it should have been fresh. Also, we watched Frozen II and literally FROZE. It was a cold snap that morning and it appeared as if the heaters had not been turned on in the theatre. My wife was a popsicle.

I will start by saying that I have not been to the theatre in several years. I attended November 17 to watch a movie. 1st Issue: Im not sure on the exact amount of time they played previews but I sat down around 5:50pm to watch a 2 1/2 hour movie that was supposed to start at 6:10pm and did not get out until 9:10pm. Im not sure if previews are shown to promote return visits or to help pay for the movie being seen. Maybe a little of both. It was enough for me to consider getting up and asking when the movie was supposed to start. 2nd Issue: What is the issue of assigned seats? We had one individual that is handicap ask for a easy access seat at the top only to find that it was already occupied by someone else. I got my ticket from another line and was not informed of assigned seating. When we got inside the theatre to sit down only to find our seats taken by others that arrived before us. I could go on and on about the seating but I have already used more energy than I want to invest. The assigned seating is will not work unless managed by Regal.

This theater managed to take a poor experience and make it worse. The last several times weve gone to the movies, there has not been anyone at the ticket box, and weve had to wait at least 25 minutes to purchase tickets at the extremely unappetizing snack bar. They have also added reserved seats, which is great in better theaters with recliners, better snacks, and a bar, and it sounds good in theory, except they cram everyone together with large groupings of vacant seats throughout.

Just saw Knives Out. Excellent movie with almost all you could ask from a show. BUT, I did not appreciate being subjected to thirty minutes of commercials after the movie was supposed to start, especially after paying $12 a ticket and cringing at the astronomical concession prices. We can go to other area theaters for half the price and more comfortable seats.

Prices have been consistently going up, along with food/drink and now assigned seating has been instituted, making lines longer as confused people bicker and fumble over the upside down seating screen (now you get stuck in concession lines to get movie tickets, even if you dont want concessions). We were late for our movie due to an a typical Joplinite with 6 kids struggling with the seating system for 12 minutes. The girl behind the counter just stared on like she was mentally somewhere else while the line built up. This theatre desperately needs to abandon the seating system and create a discount night where those older releases on the smaller screens are less (you are charged premium prices for smaller screenings still) with a fast track ticket purchase. Offering something like a Tuesday night half-off system creates not only the opportunity to bring children to a movie for under $100 but also entice more people to come during the week and boost sales of movies that are shifting out of theatres. Sadly this never happens anymore. With rising prices and these new policies going to a physical theatre is becoming more of a hassle than an exciting outing.

When we bought our tickets to see 1917 today, we were informed that the theater had heating issues and that it might be cold. After we sat down I knew I could not stay there without a blanket from the car. I brought back 2 blankets and a heavy sweater. Not happy with the fact that you have to stand in line with one server to buy your tickets while he is preparing popcorn & hotdogs for the six people in front of you. Maybe self checkout ticket counter wouldve better. Then you have to pick out by your deer from the 500 empty seats in front of you!

The concessions and ticket purchasing are combined into one unit. It used to be that you could buy your ticket outside in a quick line, but theyve been doing this new arrangement for some time now, and I wish they would stop it. It is a massive pain for people who wish to purchase a ticket without concessions, as they have to wait in an amazingly long line while others buy food. If you want to go to a movie here, buy ahead online. Additionally, if you DO want concessions, arrive at least a half hour before the movie starts, and bring a lot of money, because they are both slow and expensive.

And newest change is assigned seats so its a gamble on seat quality. A storm knocked out some of their A/C units and they were showing movies in very hot theaters, with no fans or anything. Supposedly the guy selling tickets was supposed to warn us before we paid for our tickets, but he didnt. We took off as many layers of clothing as was decent and even went into the hallway for my daughter to cool off at one point during the movie. We are elderly it was obvious because the young attendant rang us up automatically at Senior. We were late for the movie we wanted to see. Another movie was suggested Harley Quinn. There are maybe 10 vehicles in the parking lot. My husband has a cane. We go into a totally dark theater cant see anything. There are previews playing but with all the young people working you would have thought one might have assisted us they must be aware how dark the theater is. My husband fell. His cane flew all the way to the bottom of the theater from the top. As he sat trying to figure out how to get up. I made my way to the bottom of the dark theater finding his cane. There is not another soul in the theater. We spilled our popcorn my husband goes to get more. We finally get settled in chairs way too big and uncomfortable for us to see a sickening bloody movie. A mans face is peeled off and some girl with high squeaky voice is narrating the movie. I get up go out tell a very heavy young man who has not moved since we entered the theater we want to see another movie. Big mistake. We should have just entered whatever movie we wanted like other people do. He lifts a walkie talkie to his mouth, still not moving tells some young girl we want to see another movie. Finally we get in to see Bad Boys I mentioned we need Handicapped after my husbands fall. We go in see this movie maybe 20 mins. In but so much better. Oh still no one else in the Theater. This experience was $41. and some change on an early Tuesday evening show. What happen to Tuesday discounts. I wont be back to this over priced, lazy, hazardous theater. Also, their heating and air system is having issues (so hot you might decide to leave) and they dont seem to be working at getting it resolved with any urgency. Like many other reviewers have mentioned, this place is consistently dirty, cold, and virtually neglected by the careless staff who work here. Concession prices are WAY overpriced (last I checked, a bottle of water cost $4.00) as well as ticket prices. I wouldnt mind paying the prices they charge for admission if the equipment being used wasnt from the 90s and the screens looked like they were purchased from a Flea Market. Im not an expert, but Im pretty sure that when 4k HDR film thats equipped with DTS is being played from a projector from the early 2000s and speakers from the 90s, it just isnt gonna work. And it doesnt. The picture is always dull and dark and the sound is something Id expect to come from a used $5 tape player. The chairs are old and havent been replaced let alone maintained for as long as I can remember and the air conditioner is ALWAYS on regardless of the time of year so you cant even be comfortable while suffering through the torture youre forced to sit through. I say forced because this is now the only theatre in Joplin, MO and whoever owns this theatre seems to know this and shamelessly doesnt care. If a movie comes out that you really want to see and simply cant wait until it comes out on Blu-Ray, then the shortest drive to the closest theatre of any quality is Springfield. Go there.
