Furniture is outrageously expensive! We walked in and there was no other customers in the store and it still took 10-15 minutes before any one would even come up and ask if we needed help. They were just all standing around.

Ordered furniture. Was told it would be delivered thrusrday and that why would give us a call. Left our numbers and we waited. Wednesday morning I called and asked for a time frame that we could expect delivery. The lady told me they were still working on that days orders and she wasn’t sure. She said to call back the Thursday morning at 10:30. I call the next morning at around 11 inquiring the same thing. Was asked where I live and was told it would be between 1-4. 4 rolls around and my husband calls and asks if our furniture is going to be delivered today. They said it was on the truck and should be there soon. 6 o’clock and we call again and told they are delivering until 9 at night.I am very irritated that no one reached out to contact us about the furniture in anyway. There was no timeslots and no organization. Have they told us that it would be between 1 o’clock and 9 o’clock at night that we would get her furniture we would have figured out another way to get it. I do not enjoy waiting around all day for delivery never knowing when it’s going to happen. In doing this to your customers your limit what they can do for the rest of the day. Some people have jobs and would not have had to takeoff the day for work if they knew for delivery wouldn’t come until 9 o’clock at night.No reason for this lack of communication and this amount of disorganization. If you have too many orders to fill within one day don’t keep adding deliveries on for that same day.

We have found a few things here for our new house. Traveled to many different stores to look at things, but end up buying here. They do a great job of helping you find what you want even if it means ordering it for you. Helpful but not too pushy.

I am posting this review here solely because I posted a review on their Facebook page and rather than respond to me they deleted my post and blocked me which is bad customer relations especially after someone has already had a bad experience. I went to this store to buy furniture, planning to spend a considerable amount of money. The salesman approached me and asked what I was looking for. I told him and he promptly walked off never to return. We waited a little bit as he was chatting with some other employees but after a reasonable time we left the building. Someone shouted a thank you as we exited. I asked my husband “thank you for what?” I went directly to another store which I didn’t name in my Facebook post and will not name here either and spent over $5000.00 on furniture. I wanted Wayside to know that their lack of customer service lost them a decent sale. For that I got deleted and blocked. Don’t bother stopping here. They are not interested in customers. They are too busy chatting with each other to care. And if you have a poor experience they will make sure it doesn’t end up on their social media.

DO NOT GO HERE! I spent $1500 dollars on a bedroom set from hell. I had to go back to the store 4 times because they didn’t give me the parts to my bed, and what they did give me was too long to use. The footboard is chipped and the dresser has a gapping hole in the back of it. I have never seen a more pathetic excuse for a business. Do not waste your money.

My mom bought a couch it took a month and a half past the delivery date to get it and then when she did finally get her couch they did not have the pillows that it should have came with it!!! If I could give it half star that is what it would be

Tyler, salesman, was polite, informative and helpful in all aspects. He didnt hover about as some salesmen do- so that was a huge plus for us. The delivery charge was reasonable for a 90 mile trip and the delivery guys, Eli and Elijah, went out of their way to take our old furniture to donate to a local ministry. They even took a door off to get the loveseat into a room. Very respectful young men- so we had a great shopping experience.

Had a lot in the store to look at more couches and recliners than anything. Did have an automated screen to look at what they can order in for you with price and the different colors. Nice set up if are willing to wait and get what you want and not go home with it today.

I found this gourgeous bed set in another furniture store and Wayside had the best price. Excelent customer service. They were very helpful and friendly. One of the pieces was damaged and they replaced it without a problem. I will be coming back for more in the future.

We have purchased furniture from Wayside over a 30 year period! Jay is fantastic and will always try to give you the lowest price possible. After the 2011 tornado, we purchased an entire house full of furniture. He will special order whatever you might want, in the fabric or upholstery you want! Free local delivery and no city sales tax, saves you even more! Wish I could give them 10 Stars!!!

The sales people are always nice and low key. It is really hard to find places where the sales staff isnt pushy. And even though they arent pushy, we bought a bed frame and end tables from here! Also, they have delivery and no city sales task.

We bought a couch, love seat recliner and dining room table over a period of a couple months. Within 4 days the finish was peeling off of the table. I went into the store and spoke with Alan, he said he would come by and look at it in a few days. Never called or showed up. I called a week or so later and spoke with Alan, he had his delivery men come look at it. I called Alan again after a week or so and was told the only option was to pick it up and send it off to be repaired. I was also told it would be ready by Thursday. On Friday Alan called and asked me to come look at the repair. Wayside did not send the table out for repairs, they touched it up in house. It took a week for someone to apply stain to an area where stain did not adhere when the factory built the table. The repair job was absolutely a joke. Color was wrong and the original damage could be seen through their worthless repair. They ordered a new table and said it will take two weeks. Two weeks later I called to see where my table was, it hadnt even shipped yet. I cancelled the order and they refunded my money. While the table issue was going on, we also contacted the lazy boy repair man. After weeks of no response and multiple calls, he came to the house to repair a broken recliner handle. He did not have the right part, but did replace the broken part. It is very loose and doesnt work right. He ordered the right part and also a replacement footrest cover because 8 inches of stitching came loose. Never heard from him again. When Wayside picked up the table chairs, the men took the part numbers for the faulty parts, Wayside has failed to repair my couch and love seat after months of being ignored and lied to by Alan, we will never do business with Wayside again.Had Wayside bent over backwards, they would still have us as customers. The tables finish started peeling. Alan said they had to send it out to a custom finish shop. Then said they would have it done by Thursday, this was 2 or 3 days from the time they picked it up. Weeks later, I find out that its been in their warehouse the entire time, and that they tried to repair it in house. One of those idiots took a can of stain and tried to repair it, the finish was so far off a blind man could see it. We have bought a lot of furniture from Wayside, but will never set foot in there again. The love seat and couch we bought both have manufacturer defects. I called the man that Alan gave me contact info for, after weeks he finally got around to swinging by. He repaired the love seat with the wrong part, and had to order upholstery. We never heard from him again. Alan told me they would get the parts and fix both items, we never heard from him again. So, Wayside, when will the lies stop? Your response begins with a lie, and I still have damaged furniture that I was told would be fixed by Alan. I am still waiting.Wayside, where the hell are the parts you supposedly ordered for my furniture? Its been forever since we made you refund us our $1,200 plus on that dining room table. Your guys took part numbers when they picked up the leaf and chairs,( you still had the table as I never got it back after the finish touch up issue) I was told they would be ordered. Id like to nominate you for the 4-states best con artists and give you a gold sticker for all around best liars in the area. I see you removed your insane response to my comment. Wayside had our business since from the time I moved out after highschool, I dont know what has changed, but Alan cannot be trusted. Stay out of Wayside, unless you want junk furniture at top dollar prices and a warranty program that is a scam. (You cannot fix a table that was stained with gel stain with a can of regular Minwax Alan, had you sent it to a professional they would have known that. Stick to lying, its your best attribute.)

On February 22 we purchased 2 Catnppper recliners and paid for them. We were told that they would be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. They were not. Over the next 3 months we were told they were still in production, they were on the truck, would be delivered on a certain date (never happened) and were told one was in did we want it delivered. We told them no we did not want them until both were ready to be delivered. I wanted to check them over prior to delivery to make sure they both matched. We were told the other chair would be in by May 25th and as we did not hear from Wayside, Jay or Allen, on the 27th I called, again, to check on the status of the chair. Jay told me it was in production. At that point I was really upset. Never once did they initiate contact with us to let us know what was happening with the chairs. Never have I experienced such poor customer service when buying furniture. Jay did not offer any kind of apology or offer to contact the manufacturer and request the order be expedited. There is something about this whole transaction that smacks of dishonesty. I have requested a refund.

We have purchased many rooms of furniture from Wayside over several years. They always are the lowest price in the area! How do I know? Because we would see something we liked at another store, bring the information to Wayside, and they would order it for us for less! They even deliver for FREE! They are family owned, honest and trusted! We have known them for years and would never go anywhere else. Allen and the staff are wonderful!
