Dewey Park

Pretty good park, nice open area for games, multiple sets of playground equipment for a wide range of ages.

A pretty busy little park with two playgrounds and a large soccer field. There are also a handful of labeled native Iowa trees around the sidewalk. I just wish the bathhouse was maintenanced better.

Very nice equipment with areas for older kids and one for younger kids and toddlers. There is a very nice large field for soccer when the weather is warmer. The glider bars are a lot of fun for kids and kids at heart.

This is a great park for kids of all ages. They have three different sets of playground equipment geared towards different ages, which is great when bringing multiple ages to the park. They have bathrooms and a walking trail, too. Theres also a lot of open grass to kick a ball or play catch. My favorite thing is that the playground is covered with shredded tires. Its so much better than wood chips, sand, or pea gravel which are all messy!

A cute little park. Word of warning, they are a Tobacco-Free park, which isnt posted with the rest of the rules and regs. It is posted past the parking area, just not at the entrance. We were looking for a place to sit and have a smoke, so we didnt stay. But it does look like a good place to bring the kids and have a family outing.

A nice park that is tucked away in Johnston, almost hidden in the neighborhood. It also happens to be an arboretum, so most of the trees there have little signs with info about the tree. Nice and shady, but its kind of buggy in the spring, so stay in the sun.

It is lots of fun and has a lot feild space.

Well maintained. Suitable for spending time with family members & children will have enough play area. We can use the shelters (2 Nos) for our dining purpose even at the time raining. Very safety area & easily accessible.

Great park in a quiet neighborhood. There is a bathroom open seasonally, space to play soccer, picnic tables, shelters, and parking. 2 park areas-- one for smaller kids and one for bigger

Nice setting, lots of shade, rubber chips for safety in the kids jungle gym area is an extra bonus

Nice little park hidden off of busy streets. Lots of fun playground equipment, basketball hoop, two covered shelters with a few tables each and charcoal grills, bathrooms (still locked near the end of March), soccer field, long walking path and plenty of parking!

Grandchildren had a lot of fun and there was a mulberry tree they really enjoyed eating the fruit from.

Nice facilities. Family friendly.

Very nice park with great play areas for all children from toddlers to tweens. The park was well maintained with bathroom facilities.

Some kids were kicking the the pole that has water come out of it and saying bad words they were two of them one was wearing a blue coat and the other was wearing a black coat they were about 10 to 11
