Oh this is definitely a great place to go. Its a memorial on the pier. You have the best view of the Manhattan skyline. Also, theres plenty of great food trucks. The statue itself is very beautiful. Its majestic. And the piers are wonderful. You can bring your whole family and find plenty of food and seating for all. Ive come here with family, with friends, with anyone and everyone, and theres never a dull moment. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Nice place to hang out.
Spectacular memorial! I encourage everyone to learn about Katyn Massacre!
A well developed and maintained memorial place. The Manhattan skyline can be seen clearly and peacefully sitting on the site of Hudson River Bay.Near to Downtown, New Jersey this place can be enjoyed with kids.
The memorial is a reminder of the atrocities of the Communist of Russia during WII. The murder of over 15,000 officers of the Polish Army; The cream of that nation. Why have this memorial in jersey City at such a prominent location? Well, it is a wonderful location Jersey City has been the home of many Polish immigrants through its history. It is at a location where many people from around the would will pass under its shadow and then will learn of the event, and then it’s memory can be passed to future generations all over the world.
Significance lies within the statue and water it gives. A soothing calm
A great monument. it is a pity that the author was a complement to this monument. He also died near Katyn (2010 Smolensk)
A beautiful view of the Hudson and NYC. There is also some seating to enjoy the view or just good company.
Nice place near Exchange place. It gets cold in winter but beautiful views.
Nice view of NYC skyline during sunset when the lights of the building are on
Fantastic location. Very peaceful and energizing.
Nice view......nice people ....cool food.....
Katyn memorial is dedicated for those who were involved in Katyn massacre. This statue of a soldier stabbed in the back is on the river front with a backdrop of New York city. The place is right in front of Exchange Place PATH station and is accessible by Ferey, car, light rail and a bus.

Exchange Place Newport.Awesome view of Downtown Manhattan
Take time and read about the Karyn Massacre. DescriptionThe Katyn massacre was a series of mass executions of Polish military officers and intelligentsia carried out by the Soviet Union, specifically the NKVD in April and May 1940. Source: Wikipedia
Graphic statue. Very offensive.
A unique and beautiful statue which preserves memory about tragic events, long falsified and hidden from public eye. Supplemented with a description explaining the history behind it.
Nice place to visit
Very unique monument to the Polish soldiers from this battle. Stunning with the backdrop of the Freedom tower and lower Manhattan behind it. Right in the middle of the river walk way right outside the exchange place path station. Worth a quick walk by when in the area.
Ive heard that some european president came over to make sure this memorial doesnt get removed. Its not bad looking, kind of matches the place.
Beautiful view of NYC

Powerful witness to Soviet genocide
Very beautiful place, great city view. A must see!!!
Beautifull, worth to see
This monument reminds about forgotten genocide of Polish elite (22000 people) committed by Soviet Russian - communists. This war crime was kept in secret for many years and was a taboo during communist occupation of Poland until 90s.
It is very important monument.
It is very interesting
Breathtaking monument of a soldier getting stabbed in the back by a bayonet, with a panorama of Manhattan skyline (including World Trade Center) directly behind.

If that moron from city hall removes this amazing monument I will stop paying my taxes in Jersey.
