One of my best experience. U can put this place in your bucket list. Or it can also be put in places to visit in NJ. Huge park with amazing skyline view of both NJ and NY. Even better than Hoboken or Weekaken. Also perfect place for picnic and for kids. They also have restroom available which are clean and hygiene.

Great spot to just sit and relax. I love to start and end my walks here. Seeing the flags is a great reminder of where we live.

Very nice plaza. The flags were all in perfect condition. It is great to see these American flags flying tall over the park. This plaza is within viewing distance of Lower Manhattan as well as the beautiful Lady Liberty standing over the bay. There is also restrooms and a parking area. The nearby road that takes you to the Liberty Cruise Lines terminal is lined with all of the state flags in Alphabetical order.

I drove 1,000 miles to get a picture of the Statue of Liberty with my sculpture AMERICAN STANDARD. Flag Plaza at Liberty Park was the only place I could find to do that. Heads up... it is a $74 fine if you pull your vehicle into FLAG PLAZA. Write-in KASEY WELLS for President!

This plaza is so beautiful, relaxing you can appreciate the nice view from a different location, is worth it the drive. I highly recommend this place. The sunset is beautiful.

We just have to come back every year, every summer, this park has everything you need, open spaces to play, fly kites, many picnic areas, some with grill but you can bring your own too and just go to the areas were you can cook, almost all of them let you cook, there is a walking areas and to ride bikes with the most beautiful views to New York and the lady of liberty, you can almost touch it, with more than enough panking lots you will always find a spot, bring soccer ball, or any toys for you and your kids and family to have lots of fun.You can find the directions in Google usin liberty state park in nj.

Fun park to stop at if youre driving out of NYC, we had a nice time walking the water before grabbing some tacos at a local spot close by here

This is a very peaceful and honorable place where someone could admire the greatness our soldiers do in wars defending our nation....visiting this place reminds me the reason of why we all have freedom. Plus it gives a beautiful view of the skyline of New York City... as a photographer walking along the walkway I’ll find very good spots to take photos....and just be creative...

Flag Plaza is part of Liberty State Park. It is a relaxing park with an excellent view of the Statue of Liberty. The Flag Plaza in the Liberty State Park is the closest land mark to the statue. The view is from the side and rear. There is a large picnic area with lots of BBQ grill stands for those Long weekends like July 4th or just a weekend family get together.Parking is free and the park is free to all. There are bathroom facilities at the park. Nice ocean breeze. I eeally enjoyed it.

Had a family event here. This park is beautiful. Lots of space and breath taking views of new york city. Huge interactive playground for the children. The children where entertained thoroughly throught the day. Nestled between rpm go carting and the liberty science center. The place has something for everyone.

Ive always loved visiting the flag poles at Liberty State Park. Ive been going send those flags of the United States of America. for a very long time.

Relaxing place to have good time with friends and family. It has very nice walking trail bridge. Park is very clean and its has a beautiful views of NYC skyline, Statue of Liberty, Hudson River, Ellis Island, Newport Skyline, Governors Island, Verrazona Bridge and . Park has many free parking lots.

Neat spot good view

Very nice place and lots of parking available. We went on memorial day weekend and still found parking easily. Nonetheless the kids park was moderately crowded. There were lots of tree shades and grills available and water right next.

A great place to go for a stroll and enjoy the panoramic NYC views and the Statue of liberty.

We have been to this place multiple times over the years. Very nice place in summer for family and friends. Has barbeques and picnic tables. Has a childrens park. Nice Vista over the Hudson River and Statue of liberty. No food vendors though except some times there is ice cream truck. So please bring your food and drinks. Big parking lot an always lot of people here.

In the back of Statue of Liberty, there is a place named “Flag Plaza”. There are THIRTEEN flags of the United States standing on the plaza with a beat of THIRTEEN ten (130) per minute in a windy day. On the side, flags of all states in the US are CENSORED ......

Such a beautiful and relaxing place.

So close to Statue of Liberty, so nice and quiet. Rented bikes on the spot, for a nice ride to the ferry.

Design wise: the road from the roundabout to the walkroad beside the ocean needs to be widened to accommodate the pedesterians and bikers. A bike dedicated path beside the said road is very convenient. 6 foot path is not too much if taken from the lawn.

One of the best places for a close friends and family gathering. Lots of open space as well as a relaxing atmosphere. Lots of families go here for BBQs and kids have a place to play as well. Bathrooms are available as well as built in grills. Just keep in mind that on some days u might want to bring something to keep u warm. It gets a bit chilly when tempatures are not very hot.

Very nice and quiet open space. Huge flags and a very tall statue dominate the park by the river. Its conected with the Liberty State Park by a bridge and you can get good shots of downtown Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and the Verazzano Bridge. Theres a picnic area with a playground for kids.

I give it 4 stars cause it was a little dirty but the views are exelent like no other place

A pretty big park with some big flags. The views are very nice here and it is located ay one end of the Freedom Way promenade, so you can have a beautiful walk with views to the statue of liberty and lower Manhattan. There is also a playground here and public restrooms.
