Actually I nvr been here to museum b4. Only heard about it via local news station about I thot an upcoming event. I was only googling it other day to learn about it. Im not overly informed about advanced cell phones and what all features and settings mean. Sorry any confusion.

This place is a small museum that packs a big punch. Unfortunately I was on a time sensitive tour so we had to leave early. Plan at least an hour or two if you have a serious interest in fire equipment. The indoor displays date from the colonial years to the 1920s with more equipment outside. The tour guides are very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

We took our 2 year old grandson. The 2 staff guys were very encouraging and helped him enjoy it thoroughly from ringing fire bells, trying on turn out gear, and sitting in an antique real fire truck to an interactive collection of toy firetrucks and maps of towns to put out fires on. There was something for everyone from little kids to history buffs. Thank you for a great day.

We were driving past and saw the cool building, and we randomly decided to go in with our two teens. The place was amazing, and we werent expecting it to be so thorough and cool. We got a guided tour of the place and saw lots of neat antiques, very well preserved. All four of us for about $20. Highly recommend if youve got an hour to kill. Outside has a nice play area, and just down the street is an awesome painted water tower.

The new play area is absolutely the best! Not only for the kids, I didnt have any kids with me and spent an hour playing there myself! Corn hole, chess, hopscotch, all kinds of cool stuff for the whole family! Including some very long picnic tables for whatever you fancy.

Great museum with wonderful volunteers. For being a smaller non-profit group, a very impressive collection of apparatus and memorabilia; its one of the nicest collections Ive seen of the 3 dozen or so fire museums Ive visited across the country. Even more impressive is the fact that youre only seeing about half the collection. The backstory of the person who gathered the collection is a nice bit of history, as well.Entry price is a bargain and helps support the museum. Expect to spend a couple of hours at the most.
